The initial purchase, product & customer service were very good. My low score is because I paid for their gold service plan add-on and I had to take it in for a check up service. When dropping it off the customer service rep said ‘if there are any parts needed under $80, we will just put them on and that comes under the service plan.’ So I was very surprised to be charged for oil when I went to pick up the bike. He repeated the statement again and apparently what they mean to say (but don’t) is ‘if there are any parts needed , we will not ask your permission first, we will just put them on and you will have to pay. Only our time is covered by the Gold Service Plan’. Very poor communication skills. I also will not be recommending the Gold Service to anyone. A shame after a very positive initial experience

I've bought my first ebike from Evo. They were offering the best financing deals, and the best prices. The salesperson, Jamie, went out of their way to get my order set up smoothly. And I got my bike all ready to go in two days, just in time for the weekend.

And the bike's great too.

So i bought a used Giant e-bike and took it in to Evo Britomart for service. Mariano did an excellent job - great feedback on what was required and he went above and beyond in making sure the bike was up to standard. Also, tried to get a u-lock this weekend and it didn't fit - no issue in taking it back for a credit. Very receptive and responsive crew.

The team at Rototuna Evo Cycles is amazing. Great service, fast and efficient! Happy customer back up and cycling. Would definitely recommend them.

The staff at Rosedale listened to what we needed as part of the servicing and beyond.
Servicing was excellent and communication throughout superb.

His advice changed what I thought I wanted done and probably saved me money and more importantly from creating a pieced-together bike that wasn't going to handle very well at all... Thanks and I know where to go for good honest advice...

Excellent customer service. Rather than making me wait the person at the counter (who was busy with another customer) called another staff member to help out. When I had a 'couldn't work it out' issue at home they were able to promptly help over the phone.

Great service from the online booking service, to someone help me lift my bike off my car. The service progress texts were peace of mind. My bike looked so good when I picked it up as well. Thank you EVO PUKEKOHE

Evo has always been a trusted brand for me since before Covid. It always has a good range of items and staff is ready to help and friendly. I bought my bike here and they helped me pick the right one that would suit my needs best, including accessories etc. I recently wanted to upgrade my water bottle and checked online. It was unavailable anywhere I was haply Evo had it and on sale. I purchased it online and it arrived quickly and packaged well.

Gold service completed by Mau on my bike, it now looks and behaves like a new bike. Thanks Moe.

Papanui branch machanic and staff are very helpful and skillful also friendly, I am very happy with Papanui branch , and for the online service it's amazingly fast delivery too.

I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE AN UPDATE ON THIS SITUATION AND SAY THAT EVO KINDLY REPAIRED/REPLACED THE FAULTY PEDDLE AT NO COST. THANK YOU EVO

Evolution Cycles Kapiti Coast i had an Ebike delivered to the store for assembly, the staff were friendly enough, however charged more than anticipated, i think i was charged for unwrapping the boxes and paper! When i collected the Ebike and leaving the store i notice they hadn't pumped up the tyres or adjusted the breaks, this was concerning. Before the warranty was up the left peddle kept falling off making the Ebike unable to use, i contacted the seller who said they'd talk to Evo, i took it back to Evo to replace the peddle bolt, seems there was no loc tight on the bolt. Only a few weeks later the problem reoccurred, i contacted the seller to replace the shank and Evo to fit it under warranty, they claim its not covered and want to charge, however i have contacted an advocate who is now dealing with this matter... i wanted to let you know under the Consumers Guarantee Act and Fair Trading Act you are covered as it would bet expected that the parts would last the year+

I went to Evo Botany, where Jo, Aiden, and the team helped me test and find the right bike for my bikepacking adventure. They were great in helping me make the changes I wanted to set the bike up to suit my needs, using parts and accessories. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff

Took my bike to Evo Albany store for a gear service. I had a few other issues and needed advice/guidance as I live Mangawhai where there is no Bike Shop.
I received very generous assistance and helpful practical advice which took a fair amount of time. The retail assistant was attentive and didn’t rush me through in any way.

I went to Lunn Avenue store for a particular bike helmet. They didn’t have it but helped by looking up where there might be one and advised that I could get it at the Penrose store. Only 3 x yellow ones in the country and my 3 year old grandson loves yellow! Very helpful at Penrose explaining the workings of the helmet too. I will go to Evo if I need anything to do with bikes. Have been into 3 different EVO stores Taka/Rosedale/Westgate all staff at the different locations were super helpful and knowledgeable and gave excellent advice on products without trying to up sell me. Services done to bike was top notch have already booked in another bike.
