I chose Eye Academy 11 years ago, on a recommendation. In my experience,l have had brilliant service and personal attention, with the most up to date equipment being used on my appointments for contact lens treatment. Also when choosing glasses the expertise with measuring and fitting them has been superb.I would recommend Eye Academy to anyone who needs a caring and amazing team of people to help them.

Not the cheapest on the high street - but quality comes at a reasonable price. The optician assessed my wife, son and myself - we all had various eye exams ranging from routine to specialized tests to exclude underlying disease. Thankfully everything was okay - and the professional, cordial and purposeful approach was great and inspired trust.

Left with new designer specs and personalized lenses and very happy with them!

Perhaps they're not always the cheapest on the High Street but these are our eyes, you only get one pair so they need to work properly and stay healthy! The examinations are the most thorough in the area and the glasses and lenses are spot on. A truly personal and professional service from start to finish. Thoroughly recommend...

I initially chose Eye Academy in Banstead as I was impressed with their brand of glasses on display in the window. Upon going into the opticians the staff were really friendly yet maintaining professionalism. I had an eye examination and although the cost is more than at your average high street optician I was confident in the service I received and the equipment used was excellent. I was referred to a hospital due to abnormalities showing on my optic nerve. This had never been picked up before at other opticians. When it came to choosing my frames for glasses the service was very good and the staff make you feel like you're a very important person! The glasses and lenses aren't cheap but the quality of my lenses are brilliant and I am confident that if there's ever a problem with my glasses I can go back to the opticians and get VIP treatment. It goes to show that you really do pay for what you get! I would definitely recommend my friends and others to Eye Academy.

I have used Ellis & Thomson in Cobham since 2004 for myself and my children. They have always provided a careful, professional service and given clear advice on eyecare issues. When choosing new frames, the help has been gratefully received (thank you Julie - you have done us proud!) and usually replacement lenses are fitted within an hour. Your eyesight is one of the most important healthcare priorities and having found a committed professional service I will continue to put my trust in this opticians practice.

I visited Ellis & Thompson today for an eye test, the were incredibly helpful, informed me I didn't have to pay for an eye test as there is a history of glaucoma in my family. This had not been mentioned by other opticians. They helped me choose frames that suited my face and my glasses were ready a few hours later. All staff were friendly, polite and helpful

So helpful and friendly staff. Excellent service from start to finish and great range of frames and options to suit every need.
