Absolutely appalling company DO NOT BUY…
Absolutely appalling company DO NOT BUY from them. I stupidly bought fabric that my Wife asked me to purchase. I was quickly contacted and told 1 lot of fabric was out of stock, would I like a replacement or refund. I asked for a refund.
A few days later the rest of the fabric turned up with no mention of the missing fabric, which I was still billed for and awaiting a refund. I have chased them numerous times via email, onsite chat and even tried to call and text a "Ben" who originally contacted me.
A full month on I'm still waiting for my whole £5 ish that they owe me... if they can't give me £5 back then how many others money have they kept!!
EDIT - After leaving this review I finally got my refund so have increased my review from 1 star to 3. It would have been 5 stars if they had just refunded straight away instead of causing me lots of hassle.

If I could give this supplier no stars I would. Delivery takes ages, they then send the wrong fabric TWICE. Communication is appalling. Will not be using again and would definitely not recommend.

I read the reviews and stupidly thought I would give them a chance, although I did reduce the value of my order substantially.
I received my fabrics, and one of the felts was a completely different colour from their colour chart. I ordered what appeared to be a dark grey and received a bright green! I emailed customer service straight away, who accepted the colours were nothing alike, and it was agreed I could return the felt, send them a copy of the postage receipt, they would reimburse me, and send the correct color—great! I didn't look at the green as it was an error, and I just put it in a bag to return.
I received a few days later, via first-class mail, the original green felt with the accusation that I had stolen 1 cm from odd areas on their original cut line. When I put the green against the other felt I brought, I could see there was a small piece that looked like scissors slipping from when they cut the order, which is where I apparently had taken the felt from. Why would I do that? I had agreed to a solution to return the felt at no cost to me, so why? Especially when there was an extra 28 cm at the bottom of the fabric? If I had wanted any of the incorrect fabric, surely that would have been the place to steal it from! So this company spent £4.19 returning an item that they sold for £7.36 and gave me an extra 28 cm as it was incorrectly measured, as was the other felt in my order, which was also longer!
I'm out of pocket on returning the felt for £1.65, and their customer service didn't do me the courtesy of a response to my email with photos, even after I gave them 2 weeks to sort this out. Of course, I won't be using this company again, and the felt is inferior quality to the felt I was buying previously. In the future, I will take notice of others' reviews!

Ben from the warehouse said he would go and check whilst I was on online chat then asked to give them a couple of days! And he’d get back to me…

Shabby Dogs and Cats fabric…
I ordered Shabby Dogs and Cat fabric 27 Feb. I received a call to say that they did not have all the fabric available but were expecting more the following week. Many phone calls, chats online and also sent emails via their website - nothing. Sent another email cancelling order and demanded a refund. This worked, refund received. Lack of customer service
Excellent Products at great prices
I placed an order with Fabric Giant on Monday, and nearly cancelled it when I saw the terrible reviews, I decided to risk it and was I rewarded. The order has already been delivered and the items are amazing. 2 of the fabrics are far nicer quality then I expected, and the other 2 are exactly what I expected. Superb prices, excellent quality and very fast delivery. I will be buying more.

I made an order on 13th january, a week later they told me some of the items were out of stock and I requested to be refunded for those items and have the in-stock ones sent. it’s now 18th march and I haven’t received my items or my refund, and they still have the ‘out of stock’ items listed for sale on the website. no response to any of my emails so I resorted to instagram messages, where I’ve just had unhelpful and rude messages back. have ended up raising a case with paypal to get my money back.
ordered the same items from woolwarehouse two days ago and they’ve just been delivered, so that’ll learn me for not using my usual trusted sources!
Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company. Ordered fabric to make costumes for a primary school production and sent an email it had been dispatched. After waiting over a week, and making contact with them twice, (and being told they would get back to me) they finally sent an email saying it hadn't even been dispatched and might be the next day!!. Costumes required in three days, so zero chance of fabric arriving. Had to go out and purchase again, and will be sewing all weekend- great Mothers Day! Will NEVER use again and am thankful I paid by a refundable source.
Not very good...
Not sure how I can check the tracking system which shows products shipped and then several hours later, an email saying one item out of stock. Requested a cancellation of both items and a full refund. So far not had the courtesy of a refund or acknowledgement.
Also, the registered address given is just mail drop premises. Although there is a tracking link, there isn't actually any tracking.
Sadly, I can't recommend this company as I don't feel I can trust them. No trace of the company at companies house. No VAT number on website or receipt, so do we assume turnover is under £85,000?
Are they tied in with Bombay Stores in Bradford, a company with an interesting history? That is the return address shown in FAQs along with different postage prices although the returns instructions show the mail drop address as 33 Great George Street, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS1 3AJ.. Looks as if some pages were cut and pasted and others were not.

Don’t know why people are slating this company. I ordered LOADS of fabric for my first order and it all arrived and it’s all perfect. Exactly how I expected it to be. Great quality and packaged well. I will definitely be back to order more.

Received the wrong order over a week ago. Naively expected it to be sorted out quickly. Emailed the same day, didn’t get a reply for three days asking for photos which I sent last Thursday. Still no reply even though I emailed again two days ago.
Very disappointed to put it mildly.

1 order no problem at all
2 order they tried to change some fabric, but I insist for refund and got it
last 3d was a nightmare: shipped almost 10 days after paid, 2 fabrics was changed for another without my consideration and 1 piece of fabric missing.
No communication. After paying you have to hope that something will be delivered.
If you like something - order 1 time and no more.

Having read some the negative reviews for this company I was apprehensive placing an order.
However, the order arrived in a timely manner and I am more than delighted with the quality of the fabric. It is all good value for the money paid.
I will definitely be shopping from them again and have already recommended to my crafty friends.

I'm sure the positive reviews are fake. I ordered yarn. It never showed up. Contacted for tracking number and was ignored. Opened a dispute with PayPal and they also didn't respond so PayPal refunded. This was a month after ordering. Avoid and go elsewhere don't believe the fake positive reviews
Avoid, it's a scam.
Avoid! Don't give them a chance like I did, they will take your money and send you random crap instead of what you ordered. After over a week of trying to contact them they've said its because my fabric was out of stock. They made no effort to contact me about it violating their own policy as well as consumer law. Just sent me different fabric that I dont want. Their website boasts "14 day money back gaurantee" but you are entitled to this anyway under the consumer rights act. I've asked for a refund within the statutory 14 days (since they've sent a different product to what I ordered) and they have denied me one. I will be looking into reporting them to trading standards as I fortunately have everything in writing.
Amazing young lady on Customer Service..........
My first order with FG unfortunately had two items missing. I sent a couple of emails and hoped I would get a response. The fabrics were such good value, I placed another order. The next day I received one of the missing items but not the whole of order 2. I rang CS and spoke to a polite young lady who listened patiently while I explained my issue. She reassured me, contacted the despatch department and got them to send out the order again. She refunded the other missing item. The parcel order 2, arrived this morning, less that 24 hours since my phone call. Now that's what I call Service! Thanks!

Problem of non-delivery of parcel ignored by Fabric Giant.
On 5th December 2022 I ordered 13 balls of yarn from Fabric Giant, total cost £39.61. I waited a fair time for my parcel to arrive to me here in Ireland because of ongoing Royal Mail strikes but it did not arrive. On 16th January 2023 I decided to track my parcel via Royal Mail tracking Fabric Giant provided. I was shocked to discover that it said my item was delivered Tuesday 10th January and it had been signed for but the signature in the box was a squiggly "ioX" signed for by BOMBAY STORE. It was not my signature. then I looked at reviews on Trust pilot and found most were very poor. I emailed Olivia (who had to replied to other people's reviews) on Monday 16th January to explain that I went over to our local sorting office in Cork and was told that my parcel came into Dublin but was not sent down to Cork and it had been returned to sender on 10-01-2023 signed for by Bombay Store. I did not receive a reply from Olivia/Fabric Giant so emailed her again on Wednesday 2nd February. Still no response/reply from her. On 7th February I sent a message on Fabric Giant's webpage and they said they would get back to me. Today is 14th February and I still have not received a reply from them. Meanwhile the lady at An Post sorting office in Cork had given me two phone No's to ring but after going through several options and waiting ages I could not get through to speak to anyone. I had explained to Olivia that any items coming into Ireland need a Taric Code otherwise they fail An Post's electronic scan and are returned to sender. I had hoped to give fabric Giant a good review because at least An Post told me my parcel had come into Dublin but in view of the fact that I have contacted fabric Giant 3 times and have not received a reply I am only giving them 1 star in this review. I feel completely ignored by them as they have not attempted to resolve the problem at all. If they do not put the correct Taric/Customs code on their outgoing parcels, it is not my fault. I have asked them for a refund but they have not bothered. I have been patient and courteous with the content of my emails but now my only option is to ask my bank to make a chargeback to them. I am disappointed with Fabric Giant's lack of customer care, a "giant" mistake in my opinion ! If they want continued business they should take care of customer's problems and not ignore them hoping the problem and the customer will go away !

Unbelievably poor customer care.
Ordered wool to finish a time sensitive gift. Received an email saying it has been shipped. Weeks later it was refunded.
The person on their live chat was incredibly rude and uncaring, simply saying to "ignore emails" as the item was out of stock so was refunded.
This company simply doesn't deserve anyone's future custom.
