Are they owned by CHINA? UNPATRIOTIC!!!

Went out to put American flags on my Father’s & all the fallen soldiers graves in his cemetery. My fault for not ordering enough flags for this. So I went to the Family Dollar in Jewett Texas to purchase some more. I had seen them there before. When I couldn’t find any, when I say ANY, I mean NO FLAGS AT ALL!!! It’s not just any day, it’s VETERANS DAY!!! I asked & the store clerk said they were right here, they weren’t. So she asked another that said they were recalled. Meaning they needed the room for the Christmas decorations, again it’s Nov 11th & VETERANS DAY. What’s wrong with the after VETERANS DAY to remove them. Them fill the small space with Christmas stuff. No flags at all is so unpatriotic period, but on VETERANS DAY is over the top & unforgettable!!!!!!! No stars would be better!

Upper Marlboro

Upper Marlboro, MD (Brown Station Rd) Called the store to ask a question (before heading over there), they picked up and hang up without saying anything. Gave them benefit of doubt, cause anything can happen while working, so called again and same thing, very rude and unprofessional. This store has been filthy since the day it opened, boxes are always in the isles and doorway, keep waiting for them to put things away but that's never happened. Workers are rude they don't speak, but then again there's only a cashier, occasionally someone may be in the back but no one to ask for assistance. They've been open for only a couple of years but it looks like it's been here for years.

Does Customer Service exist?

Placed an order for socks on line for in store pick up.
Paid.
Received an email saying order received and I would hear back when order shipped.
No email and when I try to check on package, no order number is in the system.
I can’t find anywhere to call….
Contact Customer service link is a joke with no email or phone number.
Call a store, they know nothing.

My Mother had lost her keys

My Mother had lost her keys. Nathan and his staff went above and beyond to help her find her keys. She eventually found her keys in her car, but we sure appreciated the kindness of Nathan and his staff on North Judge Ely in Abilene, Tx.

It seems to be that every day the store…

It seems to be that every day the store on Broadway is always opening late I went to the store again this morning at 8:30 stood outside for 10 minutes no one came but yet you have three to four employees to standing in the parking lot waiting for someone to open the doors this is getting ridiculous this is not the first time the second time or the third time this is a ritual they do this on a daily basis either they're opening late or they're closing early this is out of control I have never in my life been to a Family Dollar that is so disgusting so rude and so ignorant to so many people

Dirty Family Dollar Store

Went to family dollar this store was very filthy.The emergency doors were block with merchandise.Only one cashier working.I was just so upset at the appearance of this store.Clothes and other merchandise thrown all over the floor.I really do feel that this store needs a lot of help keeping up with the store.Alot of metchandise was not even put in its right place.

Inconsiderate to the customer that is spending money

I had 3 heavy bags plus 2 other bags 2 bags with a gallon jug of water and 1 bag with 40 pk of puppy pads. I asked her if she had a cart so I could take it to my car she quickly said no I don't. I noticed a buggy behind her with only 2 bras sitting it what was the harm in taking them out and letting me use it ,I was going to bring it back to her. Family dollar on Tennessee Ave

Uncomftable to Shop no A/C in Storeair…

Order doesn't show but they take your money and have the nerve to be cruel about it.

I placed an order online on 9-13-23. This was a gift and I requested it to be delivered to a store near the person these pots and pans were for. I received an order sheet saying... what credit card I used, the estimated date it was shipped, t I would receive updates, and more. Yesterday, I received the first email on 9-19-23. Saying the order was going to the store and everything that I received on 9-13-23, but delivery date. They gave me a tracking number that was not recognizable by any shipping companies or Family Dollar.

Naturally, I called them and spoke to Lika, in the Philippines (I am in NY) telling me that the order would be delivered to the store on 9-24-23. In between this, I asked why my invoice and order sheets said the item was shipped on 9-13-23. It seems that they deliver to stores in 7-10 business days, but not on the order sheets. It did say it was being shipped with an estimated date of 9-13-23. It also says only gift cards take 7-10 business days. (This is not what I ordered) When I was disconnected 2 times I asked to speak to a supervisor Lika would not discuss it with me.

I called back explaining what happened and spoke to Autumm who said that Lika is the only supervisor in the call center. She would not put another supervisor on the phone and argued with me for over 10 minutes. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor and she finally had the only person with a head on her shoulder call me back.

Aira, the actual supervisor, I think, finally understood that the shipping dates were wrong although they took my money immediately. I sent a copy of the order to Aira, explained the above and other items that were wrong on the invoice and order sheet. Now that all this aggravation went on for 2 hours she calmed me down and agreed there were several mistakes on the site and these forms. She would get it fixed and follow up on the two women who actually lied.

You would think she would have offered a coupon or something so I would return after this much time and the fact that I have been purchasing from them for 20+ years.

They have no common sense and they made me feel they just wanted to get out and get off the phone. We were disconnected several times. One time I spoke to a Chris who never even bothered to call back.

Perhaps, if they take our money and sell to us, they would have American Call Centers who understand what I was saying and the website would make a lot more sense than it does. It is loaded with working errors. I have made a living doing just this before I retired.

I will never shop online again at Family Dollar or Dollar Tree. You do know Dollar Tree, that is the store that raised all their prices by 25 cents, but still has the signs up in the windows that say $1.00 until you get in the store. People only buy less that what they bought when it was a dollar. Even I used to come once or twice a week. Now only twice a month.

Buy at your discretion. Pay immediately and know what your buying. Good luck because you may not get what you pay for.

I purchased an Amazon card at your…

I purchased an Amazon card at your Sheldon Iowa store. Attempted to pay with a check and was told you don’t accept checks for Amazon cards. The check was processed and paid by my bank and the card was activated but I didn’t get the card. I have spoken with Jeff and was told he would follow up on it which he has not done. I either will get the card or get my $40.00 back or pursue other action.
And now customer service is asking me for $5.00 to get an answer.
Way to go…..some “customer service “. Thanks but no thanks 🤮,

Family Dollar store uses wrong price labels.

I went to the Family Dollar store at Capitol Heights, MD today. I saw instant glue tubes with a label saying $ 1. I went to the cashier with one tube but he rang up $3.50. The manager said he would not honor his price label. It was dishonest to label wrong prices. Be careful. Things there were also more expensive than the Dollar General store about a hundred feet away.

The worst company anyone would ever want to work for. The stores opporating within the Abilene area are mis managed at district management level on down. I've never seen such dishonest, disrespectful people in my lifetime. BEWARE! Don't work for this company. It's not worth it

Hartly, DE 11617. This store has prices by the items and three times has charged me a higher price at the cash register. This has happened three different times! The clerks say, “corporate puts the prices in the computer program for the cash register.” Something illegal here?

The store is a disgrace

The store is a disgrace. Employees talking about other employees and management in front of customers. Talking trash about “conference call” they have to do. Giving bad impression of Family Dollar. I was in town for funeral. Stopped to buy few items and needed to use restroom. Very rude in telling me they don’t have public bathroom. Why don’t the stores have public restroom for customers Will not shop in another Family Dollar

Follow the rules or update them

First when they say they're going to do something they should do it it says you can return an item with the receipt I bought a box of candy got the wrong flavor didn't even leave the parking lot went back in to get the right flavor and they told me they could not do it for food items! though it clearly says you can if you Google it .but they write it down and put it on the counter with a piece of tape no food items can be returned or exchanged.. so who cares what Google says I thought Google was supposed to be accurate the store basically posts these things about their store and then return policy also says says you can buy a fan but if you open the box with or without the receipt you're not getting a refund what if you open the box and the fan doesn't work now you have to keep it that's ridiculous.. but my main complaint is Google says they're open till 10:00 I just left the store I asked the kid what are your hrs he said 10:00 I said okay well I came last week twice and you were close at 9:00 and your signs on the door say 9:00 p.m. so what time do you close if you tell me you close at 10:00 and Google says you close at 10:00 and I Rush down there at 9:15 and the door is locked I get a little annoyed that I left my house for nothing so now I have to call every time I want to go there cuz they pick and choose when they're going to be open till 9:00 or 10:00.

I love shopping at family dollar

I love shopping at family dollar. But store where I shop has a new person that is in management. Today when I was in there it was very hard to move around their stuff items laying all over the floors boxes in the way you couldn't get through some of the aisles because it was too much stuff there. Even the floors and all that look dirty just dirty. I think the store in my town really needs some good supervisor.

Overcharged and verbally chewed out by employee on PTO

I’ve shopped the Payette Idaho Family Dollar over 4 years. I get the same items the majority of the time. EVERY TIME the same items ring up higher than listed on the shelf. EVERY TIME the employee gets short with me and always say there are price changes going that they are not made aware. Same story every shopping experience there. Today an employee Bree who said she was on PTO told me off for questioning the overcharged items. She told me I was “splitting hairs” that 10 cents wasn’t going to break me and I was making issues causing more work for the cashier. I told her if Family Dollar overcharges a million customers they are making a huge profit. The cashier said stuff rings up wrong all the time and no one ever complains about it. It’s because they are not catching it!!! Bree proceeds to tell me off and I felt threatened by her. I want you to review the camera from today. This gal told me she’s been running the show at that store for a long time so is her behavior acceptable? Do you permit your employees on the clock or on PTO to tell off customers when they are overcharged and questioning the overcharged items? I told Bree if she was on PTO she didn’t really have a right to be telling me off about questioning the overcharged items. She in formed me she had “freedom of speech and could tell me whatever she wanted.” I was overcharged on 3 items from my purchase today. I was told off because Bree wanted me to eat the overcharges. Who is going to resolve that issue?? There should be recourse for all of that. After standing my ground a handful of change was given to me by the cashier. I was so stressed out by Bree treating me so badly I have no idea if I was still short or not. It was very upsetting to be treated so badly when the price is clearly marked on the shelf and should be honored. The issue with Bree and that store needs addressed. It has been a horrible experience at your store. Please review the camera footage today.

What a JOKE

I visited the family dollar yesterday in catlettsburg ky and this is my last trip ever! First bad experience was with my daughter she was buying her sons food he likes for the weekend he is 5 and kinda picky but she spent 100 at this store and she swiped her ebt card 6 times over and over again all this time she kept saying can you please do it manually because it does this everytime I’m here !! The cashier acted like she never heard her and very loudly says swipe your agin mam so she did and there were by this time 15 to 20 ppl behind us waiting after the 6 swipe the lady says I guess I’ll have to do it manually ! Rude smart ellic cashier she was !! Next time we go same thing happens only EBT cards and we are by no means to proud to use it but cmon your prices are high enough fix your registers this happens every month to her and it happened to myself last month!! Mine only came to 15.00 and the lady behind me said please let me pay for her milk and things she said this isn’t her fault fix your registers! I was humiliated and embarrassed at this point I wanted to crawl in a hole! Yesterday I took my grandson there and my nephew and daughter we got few things came to 22 in cash all good ! I stick my card in like I had done five minutes ago at the McDonald’s right by there ! It declined my card said the exp date was expired mind you the date is 02/2027! The man said do it again I did same thing declined it so then he proceeded to try everything he could to get it to work to no avail it never did so I go out get another card bam took it but it truly was expired and never gave me a problem !! Thank you to the cashier who was so helpful and to lady behind me who kept whispering and rolling her eyes I hope to be behind you someday so I can clear my throat and sigh when you can’t help that this store robs ppl with high prices and crappy machines! One more complaint there was one of the managers clockimg out to go home and when another employee said are done for the day Josh well Josh says I’m F N off dropped the F bomb right upfront with children standing in line and several customers one gentleman said hey buddy there is little girl standing right there!! This should never ever happened Josh should be wrote up or suspended for his attitude and language choices VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL RUDE AND HATEFUL MANAGER!!
