Deceitful Billing Department - No Services Rendered
I took my 13 year old daughter to Florida Behavioral Medicine in Pinellas Park on November 3, 2025. The therapist Cara Dudiak brought my daughter into her office alone for 10 minutes then proceeded to come and bring me into the office also. She told me that it would benefit my daughter to speak with someone but she couldn't or wouldn't help her unless she could put her on drugs... wait, what??? how can a so called therapist decide if anyone needs drugs after one 10 minute conversation. I was floored & told her we weren't there for drugs & we wouldn't be back. Then someone from the office called a few weeks later to schedule a follow up appointment??? I explained their horrible office policy that to help you they have to drug you & we wouldn't be back. Then in January of 2026 I get a bill from Florida Behavioral Institute for $19.26. I called their billing department & explained all of this & they lied to me and told me it was from the insurance company. I called Florida Blue Cross/Blue Shield & told them about this ridiculous situation and they turned around and called the office. Bottom line is that office lied, over billed for no services rendered and billed me again. I won't be paying the $19.26. They owe me $150 + gas and wasted time!!!
