Practically good as new fix. Very pleasant staff and super quick service. The courtesy car was good enough to be nice but not so good as to make me regret having to hand it back when my car was returned.

It’s been a few months now since fix auto Matlock fixed my volvo xc40 r design after a fire engine crushed its rear quarter trying to squeeze by due to another drivers inconsiderate parking but thought I better make the effort to get this done.
When my car went into fix auto Matlock I was very worried about what the final outcome would be as I take great care of my car and didn’t want any poor workmanship letting down its metallic blue paint job leaving me with a poor repair job however, I need not have worried. I read lots of glowing reviews for Fix auto matlock And viewed them with distrust as they were all so perfect however I had no choice but let my car go to them for repair and all I can say is That those reviews painted a 100% accurate description of fix auto Matlock Car repair abilities..
My car was returned to me in excellent condition looking every bit as good as it did when it left the showroom the paint job was superlative to say the least And the bodywork damage was nowhere to be seen at all.
With these sorts of awkward repairs it’s all too easy for the repair job to still be seen when trying to match tricky metallic paint jobs something that the team at fix auto pointed out to me would be difficult when I spoke to them. However there is no way I can see where the old paint ends And the new paint begins Likewise, for the damage to the rear quarter it as though it never happened..
The only fly in the ointment for the whole job when they screwed my private plate back onto the rear of the car instead of using sticky tape And even this was rectified with payment for a new set of numberplates, no fuss No complaining, just sorry we made a mistake and we will Put it right. They paid me cash straight into my bank account when I produced the invoice for the new plates. Even paid the price of front and rear as there was no option for just a rear plate.. It was a little thing that meant an awful lot to me. I have no qualms in recommending fix auto Matlock to anybody out there their service is Fantastic the staff are nice friendly and polite and the workmanship is second to none..

They gave me a great price, did a great job on the car, provided me with a great quality loan vehicle and completed the job ahead of the estimated time. Fix Auto Matlock were brilliant right from the start of the repair to my car
They sorted everything out with my insurers arranged a courtesy car which unfortunately had a puncture when i got home after a quick call a replacement vehicle was ouyside my home within 20 mins.
The actual job was estimated to take
over a week but the car was ready to collect after 5 days and the resulting
repair was perfect on top of which the car was filly valleted.

Well pleased with the repair to my 18 month old Porsche and the "customer experience". I hadn't read any online reviews, until now, but based my choice of repairer on quotes/conversations with three other bodyshops, the work Fix did recently to my son-in-law's metallic blue Discovery and discussions with Stewart, the estimator, on what was required and why others could quote £4k more! Job was completed on schedule (six days, pretty good for a new door etc., especially considering the dealer kept it overnight just to change the oil 😨) and we got off on holiday on collection day, without recourse to a courtesy car. I had a slight concern hearing a vibration while we were away but that has disappeared since we got home and took the week's luggage out leaving just my golf clubs and trolley in situ. All good, will make Lant Lane my first call if necessary (🙏 no) in future.
