Flapjackery Avis 

Ordered a build your own box of 8 flapjacks. Arrived well packaged and on time.

I couldn't find use by/eat by dates on any of the items, so after contacting flapjackery, I was told these dates are listed on the card thats included in with the items.
Bearing in mind these dates were different for each item, and I did intend to gift a couple of the bars,
I didn't feel I could so without these dates being on the individual product packet and I don't want to have to be showing proof of eat by dates by carrying the card with me.
Perhaps this is something FJ could start doing.

I find they cut into sharable pieces easier if they are kept in the fridge, I found they crumbled when being cut if not kept in the fridge.

All that said, we did enjoy them albeit a little expensive, and may perhaps order again if on a promotional discount.

FJ asked for a review which I did and is basically the same as this one but it doesn't appear on their website.
Do they only publish 5 star reviews?

Went to the store in Lyme Regis today and had two ice cream flapjackerys served by a very nice lady. Didn't notice any pricing info - it certainly wasn't prominent. One scoop of ice cream and a few sprinkles of flapjack. Got to the till and the lady said £6....that'll be £12. I nearly told her where to stick them! An exorbitant and ridiculous price and to top it, my partner's salted caramel version was pretty tasteless. Won't ever be going back.

I had some fantastic flapjacks from a Flapjackery shop earlier in the year and so asked for some for Father's Day. The postal versions are very disappointing and fall apart too easily.

Came to visit Lyme Regis and came across the flapjack shop! Brought some millionaire flapjacks got them home my son ate them all! So I visited against the next day as I was staying not far and purchased more! I’d wish I brought more there absolutely lovely not sure why there are negative comments as there beautiful please try and don’t go by the negative reviews!

Only negative was delivery. Issue with DPD and was worrying the whole time it wasn't going to make it for my partners birthday.

Apart from that , would order again 😊

First purchase!! Bought 2 x vegan gluten free packs - 4 in each. £50! But thought these must be superb - and it was for an office treat. Delivery was late, customer service was absent, rude reply when I followed up the second time re selected delivery date missed and was basically told “not our problem - it’s DPD”. Product arrived having been in transit for almost a week, terribly crumbly and really not special at all. Overall, a waste of money. Would not recommend the product and the service has been hopeless. We love flapjackery and cant recommend them enough! We have been to food festivals and bought them, been to their store in bath, and had them delivered, and the quality has always been outstanding. We have tried half of the flavours at this point (my son especially loves them!) And theres not been one that we havent loved! The delivery is quick, and they always come well packaged and tasting delicious, and they are huge! Well worth the money

After querying the Gluten free status of the Easter Rocky road I received a very nice e-mail from the production manager explaining the testing procedure of the malt barley extract and that it is gluten free accredited. Very happy.

Delicious flapjacks - stay together, moist, chewy and not ove overly sweet or sticky. Not expensive.

Bought flapjacks from the Lyme Regis store. To be honest I wasn't expecting great things but was very pleasantly surprised with the taste and quality. The flapjack itself was very tasty, a nice mix of oats. And rather than the topping just being the same thing with a different flavour, each one was different.

A happy find. Will be buying more.

I love Flapjack and whilst on a business trip I found a store that was dedicated "To my Love", well, the store was St Ives and I purchased the slab of Flapjack at £4.50, I also mentioned that the shop they had a high bar to beat anything I had had previously, the lady said we have 16 shops, and we are the best………

Well that is where it ended, probably the worst flapjack I've ever had, Superdry lacking in flavour, just WHY bother, or don't bother, just go to your local cake shop, they can make better .......

Dissapointed once again. They are just so dry - not the chewy moist delights one would expect!I had high hopes - that my initial experience was a fluke because it seemed stale and possibly out of date ( they now have a best before sticker). However my purchase on Friday was equally dry and crumbly.🫤

Can honestly say the worst flapjacks we have ever tasted, very dry and expensive.
If you want a nice moist flapjack look no further than the 39p flapjacks from Home Bargains

Mediocre flapjacks with icing on top. Had much better at a quarter of the price

Received my first box as a birthday gift from my parents who discovered Flapjackery at a food festival. There was so much variety and loved that they came in smaller squares so they lasted longer and weren't too much in one sitting (could easily wolf down a couple of slices though!). I bought a smaller variety box for my husband and found it really useful getting to pick a date as it gave me an idea of when they'd arrive - they even came a day early! Plenty of communication throughout the process so I knew exactly when to expect them and came very well packaged! They come neatly wrapped with a card saying which flavours are in there as well as best before dates! I'd highly recommend these delicious (and gluten free - not that I need it!) flapjacks, either as a treat for yourself or as a gift! Will definitely be ordering again soon!

The toppings are lovely but they just fall apart. This seems to be the most common issue so Flapjackery will be well aware of this. Disappointing they aren’t yet listening to customers. Overall the persons in the Minehead shop are a joy! And the flavour on top is great - just a shame the actual flapjack is bad.

At £4.80 it sadly doesn’t beat a ~£0.39 Cherry Bakewell flapjack from home bargs.

Appreciate that the ingredients are British and that’s fantastic but you need to find more ingredients to create a product worth the price tag

This company had a stall at the Bude food festival. Flapjack was delicious! Would highly recommend. Such a shame the store had closed by the time we went to visit padstow - we didn’t keep an eye on the time :( before our journey home from holiday. And the man at the stall itself was also lovely, very informative about the products and happy to chat.

Bought 3 and my husband and I both agree that they need to use more syrup, they are much to dry and crumbly. Must admit the icing on top was tasty although with the salted caramel it just tasted like caramel, not salted. Won’t be buying again.
