FlooringInc has always been great to me. I have ordered from them multiple times and they seem to always have the best prices and a kind and knowledgeable staff.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Ordered $800 in flooring, received the wrong product, and have been calling for 2 weeks waiting on hold, chatting with AI robots, and still no return call. I’ve waited (collectively) for hours on hold.

I have no real issue with Flooring Inc. My issue is with their shipper. Flooring Inc. arranged the shipper, so it is their problem. We ordered a large amount of flooring. About 1,400 pounds in weight. The charges for the order included lift gate service. Flooring Inc. told us order would be delivered on December 30. We had people available on the 30th to direct the truck to the correct location for unloading. The shipment arrived on December 29th without notification..and in the rain. The driver didn't ring the doorbell or try to make contact for instructions when to drop the load. He just dropped it in the middle of the driveway and took off. Unless we were going to put flooring down in a horse pasture, where he dropped it was idiotic. The flooring is contained in cardboard boxes. Any ideas on the structural integrity of those boxes if left in the rain for a few hours??? So, we had to move fast to break down the pallet and get the material under cover quickly. Needless to say, this is the last time we will order anything from Flooring Inc. I should have heeded the warnings from other past customers and done business with someone else.

The product arrived poorly packaged, was damaged in transit, and completely useless as a result. That alone is bad enough — but nearly a month later, I still have no replacement, no tracking number, and no meaningful response.
Once they had my money, there was zero urgency to fix their mistake. I genuinely do not understand how this company has the ratings it does.
Avoid if you value your time or money.

My first experience with Rubber Flooring Inc was great - the product and customer service. I own a commercial gym and needed quality flooring.
I expanded my space and chose RFI again for my flooring. The Rubber Flooring sheds EVERYWHERE. We had specialist come in, we reached out to the company and everyone pointed to a manufacturing issue with the new flooring ( remember the original was just fine). We were told that our claim was being escalated numerous times and we were promised a resolution. Nothing every happened, no one reached out to help and we are out of $9k on a floor that will need to be ripped out at redone. We've had the flooring for 12 months now and the floor continues to shed the same. Customers get the black crumbles all over them and our cleaning appliances are coated.
Easy to order, but just try to get through by phone to get answers. Cut off with no answer on MULTIBLE occasions and never called back. Product was acceptable for a home gym floor and will take a bit to off gas. While it took awhile to get delivered, it arrived at the end of the time they quoted. One big disapointment was they delivered it in front of my mailbox, not to my home which is a mile away and it is very heavy.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company is engaging in actively deceptive and fraudulent business practices. They operate on a "bait and switch" model: lightning-fast service for new sales, and a nightmare of lies and avoidance for any customer support.
The "Bait" (Pre-Sale): My pre-sale calls were answered in under 45 seconds. I paid for expedited carpet samples, which arrived a day late. In good faith, I placed my main order for $2,863.11, trusting their process.
The "Switch" (The Nightmare Begins): The samples were a shock. They looked nothing like the pictures on their website, in either quality or design. It was cheap and a total misrepresentation.
I immediately tried to cancel my order. This is where their scam became clear.
The Black Hole of "Customer Service": I called their 800 number four times. I was left on hold for a total of 1.5 hours with no answer.
The First Lie: My last call was at 6:03 PM. A recording told me I’d reached them outside business hours. The instant that recording finished, the auto-attendant came on and stated, "Our hours are from 8 AM to 7 PM EST." This is a deliberate, calculated lie to block customer calls.
The "Ghosting" Chat: I sent two urgent cancellation emails. The next morning, I waited a combined 78 minutes on hold. I tried the Zendesk chat. The agent, "Teanna," saw my complaint and promptly "ghosted" me.
THE SMOKING GUN: Frustrated, I tried a new tactic. I called their sales line from a different phone number. They picked up in 20 SECONDS. They are actively screening and dodging calls from customers they've already billed.
More Lies: The sales rep "Judith" transferred me, promising a 5-minute wait for support. I was on hold for another 35+ minutes.
The Final Deception: After finally getting a response in the chat, a rep named "Sabrina Morgan" informed me that my order had already shipped and my cancellation emails (which were sent 12+ hours prior) were "received after the order had already shipped."
This is a demonstrable lie.
Fact 1: I have never received a shipping confirmation or tracking email, despite their promise. (Funny, I got one instantly for the $10 samples).
Fact 2: As of this review, my own account page for Order #100443715 clearly shows the status as "Processing," not "Shipped" or "Complete."
They are lying about the shipping status to refuse a refund and stick me with the return shipping costs for a product that was misrepresented and I tried to cancel long before it ever shipped.
Save yourself the headache, the time, and the money. These are shady, dishonest people. I have filed a full dispute with my credit card company for false advertisement and deceptive business practices, and I am now proceeding to take them to small claims court.
This review is probably TLDR so the executive summary is: run far away from FlooringInc which is running a scam operation. Details follow:
I ordered nearly $1,000 of floor tiles via their website. Delivery consisted of someone dumping the boxes in the driveway with the boxes damaged and the tiles spilling out of the packaging. Some tiles were bent because they were dumped in a pile. I refused shipment but the shipper (FedEx) would not come retrieve the pile in my driveway.
So, this doesn't seem like this is a big problem, right? I mean, I should just call FlooringInc and they'll get FedEx to come pick up the damaged stuff. So, first of all, no one picks up the phone when you try to call them. So, after several experiences of getting trapped in their useless phone tree, I started a series of emails with various FlooringInc people where there would be no response, or I would get a "I'm working on it" response, or finally "we need photos." After a couple of weeks of this, a rep claimed that they would not do anything other than replace individual tiles that were "damaged". By this point, I was having to explain that the heap of boxes sitting in my driveway had been rained on and had disintegrated, and that the tiles themselves were dirty and covered in leaves and dirt.
I believe the FlooringInc reps were using Chat GPT to compose responses to my complaints that somehow acknowledged my situation without actually, you know, solving the problem.
Finally, I realized that the reps were trying to stall long enough that I couldn't try to use their "30 Day Money Back Guarantee" which states "You can return your product for any reason within 30 days of delivery." So, before the 30 day deadline, I wrote back with the magic words, asking to return the product under their 30 day money back guarantee and requesting an RMA. Like magic, I was then ghosted and the rep stopped responding to email.
So, I disputed the charge with my CC. The CC company ruled in my favor very quickly and refunded my money, although I had to wait a couple of months for the resolution to be finalized. Meanwhile, the pile of tiles became a neighborhood joke and a squirrel sanctuary for a few weeks over the summer.
Don't get sucked into this giant dumpster fire.
Purchased an item that was the wrong color (my mistake).
Tried to cancel it 2 min later yet no option to cancel
Sent a message stating the order color had to be changed.
They acknowledged that they received the request (2 min after my purchase) but because no one replied from their organization that a change was made (over the next 7 days) that they are not responsible to have made the change.
So they said yes we got told you wanted to make the change, Yes we got told 2 min after you ordered, but we didn't reply so we didn't have to make the change.
They now want me to pay for return yet I can't get anyone on the phone or in their (faster lol) live chat that I was 2 min away form someone chatting and that was over an hour ago.
No one is answering the phone or chat or now even text says they may take 2 days to reply.
I was told I should have cancelled the order and they can';t tell me how I was to do that. Oh My
Offering competitive prices, but that is it. Delivery date did not match with what was offered on website. Had to follow up multiple times to get my flooring finally shipped. Parts of the delivery (rubber flooring) was useless since severe quality issue (about 720 sft). I had to use caulking to make it somewhat work and patch it. Customer service had no intention to make it right. After almost 3 month still no help and solution. Need to involve legal to place a claim.
Received my order and had an issue with it. Reached out promptly. Completely unresponsive customer service. I tried via email, website chat, and phone call. Their phone system claims 3 minute wait time. Do not use this company.
Disappointed by Misleading Policies and Inflexible Customer Service
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with FlooringInc. I placed an order for flooring and requested a simple color change (same product, same price) instantly once I realized the wrong color had been ordered…before production or shipping. Their website clearly states that changes may be possible prior to production, but when I reached out, I was told no changes can be made at all once an order enters their system.
Even more concerning, their team admitted via email that despite what the website says, they are unable to modify orders of any kind due to "system restrictions." In other words, their site gives customers a false sense of flexibility that does not exist in practice.
When I pointed out this contradiction and asked for the policy to be updated to reflect reality, they refused to take responsibility or make it right. Instead, they continued to push for cancellation and reorder, a process that would unnecessarily tie up thousands of dollars on my debit card.
This is misleading at best and deceptive at worst. If a company knows their system doesn’t support changes, they should not advertise that it might. I’m sharing this review in hopes of saving others the frustration I experienced. Proceed with caution and don’t rely on their website policies, they don’t reflect how this company actually operates.
FlooringInc is a company with terrible customer service, and a subpar product. I would not recommend working with them. They sent me floors with a decent turn around, but didn’t provide me the supplies I ordered to install the floors. They didn’t tell me they were on back order with no line of site until I reached out to them.
When I finally got my own material to install the flooring, I noticed one of the rolls was damaged. I took photos of the damage and reached out to their customer service. Over a week later I get a response back saying they need updated photos that need to have a tape measurer next to the damage. I explained I finished the job with a limited scope and through out the damaged material several days earlier. It was obvious from my photos there was only a few feet of damage but they told me they weren’t able to help with anything unless I provided additional photos.
Very disappointing communication and support for their product.
Do not buy from this company. Complete misinformation on their website. Ordered the "Quick Ship" and paid extra. Order should have shipped between 6/16 - 6/18. On 6/19 it was still processing. I chatted with a representative who informed me it wasn't suppose to ship until 6/24 but she would try to expedite. Never heard back. Then receive an email that it had shipped and was delivered. Complete lie. Just got off the phone and was basically given another run around. I will never do business with this company again.
Try to call they don’t answer. They don’t deliver on time. They lie and say it manufacturers behind. You pay and don’t get a response. I’m behind on installing because they make excuses. I wish I never ordered from this scam company.
The customer service department at FlooringInc.com is by far the worst that I have ever experienced by any other company, ever. It took over 6 weeks and more than 8 calls to even get them to respond in any way. Once they did ,their representative repeatedly never read or at least, never took the time to understand my concerns and my many comments. I was a previous customer who had placed a large order two years ago for Nitro Flexible Tiles that were fading and separating having been properly installed on a flat, smooth concrete base in a climate controlled 3 bay garage in Florida. Because of this, at my expense, I had to remove and replace 63 tiles (@ 4% of my floor). Because of the marked delay in hearing back from FlooringInc, I ordered and paid @ $600 for the replacements. All that I was asking for was a monetary adjustment of some kind. Bottom line is that this company is totally unconcerned and non responsive to customers and that at least their Nitro Flex Tiles are terrible-they fade and continue to separate even in an enclosed environment with very limited traffic. A horrible mess! They don't even know how to send proper emails or use the phone! I placed a order for my business not my house. Because it was a big order they claim the policy says to confirm the customer can receive order. Why would you send me a email to survey you but not one about my order! Then I click the link for the survey and it takes me to a message sent 6 damn days ago. Even my response they received a day late! If this is a B2B order why wouldn't I be able or even know what I ordered? It's stupid. No y'all problem was y'all did not have enough people to move it off your own truck! You shouldn't be requesting help for your driver! And I'm sure I would not be covered under your insurance! Just close your doors because your worthless
Unfortunately, my order was one tile short. I ordered 17 "Gray-20%" floor tiles, and somehow only 16 made it to the floor. Not sure where the missing tile went, but whatever - should be easy to order ONE additional tile, right? Nope - not with this company. I have called numerous times to try and order a single replacement tile (I've even offered to pay for it) but I cannot get any type of response and no one will call me back.
I had written a five-star review because the ordering and shipping process was great. But...watch out if you have any issues with your order, you will be ghosted by this company.
I purchased carpet from Flooring Inc. after speaking with a representative on the phone who explicitly assured me that the product would be delivered on March 19, 2025. Based on this confirmation, I scheduled related installations and made plans around that date.
However, the carpet did not arrive as promised. I spent an entire day on hold, repeatedly being disconnected before I could reach a representative. When I finally got through, I was told the delivery would happen Friday, March 21. I waited again on hold that day for hours, only to be told the new delivery date would be March 24.
That date also passed without delivery — and I later found out it was because Flooring Inc. failed to pay the trucking company, which is completely unacceptable.
The customer service experience has been horrible — it is nearly impossible to reach anyone, and I’ve been given misleading or outright false information at every turn. I now feel like I’ve been scammed, as I’ve paid for a product I have yet to receive, with no reliable communication or resolution from the company.
