EPC assessment - delays and no communication
On the day of my residential EPC appointment, no one showed up during the allocated time. My calls and email were ignored. The next day, I was able to reschedule when I chased them. I would have expected the new appointment to go better, but again, no one came nor contacted me. The assessor arrived an hour late. The actual assessment was professionally done, but the lack of communication leaves room for improvement.

First, thank you for your honest review. We take any opportunity such as this to review our process. We have since spoken with the assessor involved to rectify this issue. In terms of contact, once we were aware of the missed appointment it was our top priority to resolve this. In our experience this is best done through a phone call, it must be said that we did not have much luck getting hold of you via the initial contact number given. When you phone us via a different number a clear line of communication was established. We resolved this as quickly as we could with a new appointment date and time slot usually a 3-hour window. I do believe we were within that window.
In closing this has highlighted a key area for improvement and we will rectify this with immediate effect.

Very quick and positive response to my initial enquiry secured the business. Similar, brief response, once quote accepted and paid would have been reassuring, but SAP work completed quickly and efficiently. Part O report taking a little longer.

Hi John,
I have emailed you directly on this. As we were instructed on the Part O Much later than the SAP, It could not have been completed at the same rate. The calculation itself is far more in depth and makes use of the SAP results. Our Lead time for this service is often double that of our SAP lead time due to this.

Lacking customer service post report
Very quick to call back when you make an online enquiry (within minutes on a bank holiday!) Very helpful and friendly at that point. Once they have your money they complete the report on time as agreed but if you have any further queries about your report (which is likely as they are very technical), you don’t get a response. I chased up my query and am still waiting. In the meantime I’ve found the answer elsewhere! Not the cheapest either so you’d expect good customer service both before and after taking your money!

As with all SAP reports there are technical details hence why we included an overview report as an additional document to state a pass or fail.
