Lovely food and great service
Lovely food and great service, nice atmosphere
DONT ORDER
Honestly love their pizzas but tonight I couldn’t get their website on either my phone or laptop to confirm my order. My boss tried too. We gave up and ordered on deliveroo, fine. However I now see that aside of the deliveroo payment the restaurant itself has charged me for a pizza I did not have! There was no confirmation email and when I called to complain about the glitch was told no refunds available- ‘everyone’s complaining about the website’ and if I want I can have a free pizza another time. What kind of customer service is this? Felt scammed.
Now don’t like them anymore and don’t want to buy from them.
Fabulous and helpful staff
Fabulous and helpful staff! They were great in changing my order when I realised a made a mistake :)
bad review
i went there a few days ago with my friends and we saw that there are only two servants and one chef and whilst we were looking at the drinks there wasn"t a lot so we ordered as the drinks some Nojito , and that actually came really fast but when it came to ordering the food we ordered some pizza and whilst everyone else got there pizza we didn't and we waited a hour for our food to come me and my one friend's pizza was cold but the rest was fine , we asked for the bill and we waited for it about 20 minutes after
we asked , before we even got our food we wanted to only pay for the drinks but the the woman came with the food so we didn't leave. Please if you have plans going there don't it has terrible service and there are only 3 people working there.
King's Cross Franco Manca
King's Cross Restaurant. Service was terrible, tables and chairs far too close together so extremely uncomfortable. Food was good. We waited 25 minutes for anyone to come near us to order. We ordered food and a bottle of wine. Food came no wine. Wine came unchilled. Asked for ice to chill the wine. Tried to get the bill but we eventually had to go to them to pay for meal. Terrible experience.
Very disappointing
I had a pizza prosciutto and fungi. The prosciutto was ham and the mushrooms were almost invisible.
Delivery by deliveroo was missing item
Delivery by deliveroo was missing an item but deliveroo won't refund the missing item. First time I ever use them. And last. Ordered pizza while watching a movie with my family, don't want to interrupt family movie by fiddling with phone to take pictures of missing items and chat to them so waited to after the meal to complain, then they don't believe me. Crap experience overall. The pizza was average.

Great food, amazing service!
Yesterday my hasband, myself and a dear friend visited Franco Manca in Windsor! We been there a few times and it was fantastic to be back! The food was utterly delicious. That tiramisu was something else! My friend is italian and she always praise this branch highly.
Well done to Ana, Cait, Arafa and Anthony. I was not only impressed with the delicious food, but also with the beautiful team delivery, working together like pros!
To the branch manager, whoever you're, you're doing a stellar job, inspiring your team!
Dissapointment
My friend and i went to franco Manca in Cheltenham adter seeing a post going around in Cheltenham about various restaurants where children ate for £1 during half term. The children were veey excited but we turned up only to be told this offer was only in london!!! We stayed as we didnt want to dissapoint our grandchildren but we thought that as a goodwill gesture, he should have honoured the offer.
We shan't be returning.
I’ve never been and probably won’t
I’ve never been and probably won’t, unless they move their bottle bins which I’ve spoken to them about, and they continue to cause me difficulty walking to and from by flat at Veitch’s Square. I’m disabled and recovering from a stroke.
Extremely poor on valentines evening
Extremely poor on valentines evening. I ordered the spicy margarita pizza a special for valentines and it was advertised as a heart shaped pizza’s. When it arrived not only did it look poor it was not heart shaped. I expressed my disappointment to the manger but didn’t care even when I showed him the order on the franco manco’s website. This has ruined the valentines vibe, very upset and disappointed. Would not urge anyone to waste their money. Maybe it’s just the Bermondsey street branch but the advertising doesn’t meet the standards.
Very poor pizza
We had pizza at lunchtime at the South Kensington Franco Manca and frankly it was the poorest we have ever had. It seriously lacked topping and was so bland. We did complain briefly but didn't want to totally spoil our day. The waitress didn't seem to care that much and said she wouldn't have that pizza.
Never again.
NOTE: Complained by email to them and they haven't even replied. Shows how much they care .......0
Never again. Overcharged or overprices.
My friend and I did the pizza walk challenge.
We had one pizza each and my friend had one dip. We also had a small bottle of bear each (after the complementary you get).
They deducted £28 for the km we walked and we still had to pay£24? (£21 and then service charge on top)
That's £52 for two pizzas and a small beer and dip? Absolutely outrageously overcharged.
I'm really disappointed by this. First time I went there and won't be going back. I make my own sourdough pizza and think it's better than theirs. Even the local pizzaria or pub does better (and way cheaper) pizza than that.
Save your money. Go to for a long walk and make your own.
0 for Customer Servicd
Tried to book a table and was told no bookings were being taken and to just turn up. So we did but were told they had no space and has to cater to people who had existing bookings and turned us away. Your Canary Wharf branch needs people who are able to provide customer service as what we got was beyond terrible. Would not recommend.
Non existent customer "care"
I went to the restaurant, checked in as I've done before, myself and two guests did the same - the code says out of date, we weren't credited with a stamp - several attempts to resolve. nOthing.
Principle for me, loyalty is a two way street
Hygiene not to high standards
I have eaten at several Franco Manca branches over the years, including in the West End, and have usually found their hygiene and presentation to be good. Unfortunately, my recent experiences at the Muswell Hill branch (and previously earlscourt) have been extremely disappointing.
I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, and one of the most basic, non-negotiable rules in food service is hair control. Any staff member handling or packing food must have long hair tied back or properly restrained to prevent contamination.
At the Muswell Hill branch, I observed a member of staff who was handling and packing takeaway pizzas with long hair left loose. When I raised this with staff, I was told he was the manager’s son, which made the situation even more concerning, as hygiene rules must apply to everyone equally.
At the Earls Court branch, the chef looks so dirty he had a beard that was long and did not have a net covering it. Like I’ve mentioned doesn’t matter what religion you are or what ethnicity you are what cultural differences are when dealing with food every single person should idea to the rules of hygiene cover your beards and cover your hair. I ended up walking out of that Franco Manca store in El Court decided to eat elsewhere.
This is not about fashion, identity, or ethnicity. It does not matter what someone’s background is, what hairstyle they have, or whether their hair is curly, straight,Afro or in dreadlocks — all hair that can fall into food must be tied back or properly covered. That is a basic food safety requirement.
Hair in food is not a minor issue — it is a serious hygiene failure. I have found hair in food before in other places and I do not want to risk it again. This is why these standards exist.
I contacted Franco Manca about this several weeks ago but received no response, and when I walked past the branch again recently, the same situation appeared unchanged.
Franco Manca has built its reputation on quality and trust, but basic food safety must come first. I hope management and the local food safety authorities take this seriously and ensure that proper hygiene standards are enforced at this branch. I have no other alternative but to contact the correct sources to go into an inspection.
Should have bought a pizza from tesco…
Should have bought a pizza from tesco for 1/3 of the price. I just had a takeaway pizza from the Blackheath restaurant which was bland, limp and lacking ingredients on top. I spent close to £14 for a 'Veg Special' which was truly awful and not worth eating.
I have been a customer of Franco Manca for the past 10 years, regularly eating at and taking away from various restaurants. Unfortunately, recently it has become usual to have very few ingredients on top of the pizza, I suspect a profit making mission by the company. Disappointing when it has previously been great!
Very good
Went to the one in soho on Tuesday and I'm glad I went before I read the reviews as The reviews are not like how it was there (whether I got lucky I'm unsure) but from the minute we arrived to the minute we left it was all great the food was Superb (Too much food I feel It filled us both up) I will definitely will be returning. It was a lovely atmosphere
Prima e ultima volta
