Franco Manca Avis 

Unfortunately, our experience at Franco Manca was incredibly disappointing. We waited over 30 minutes after ordering with no update or communication from the staff. Eventually, I approached the counter to ask about our food and was told that our ticket had been missed. There was no apology, no explanation, and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience.

Two different staff members showed a complete lack of interest or concern. When the pizza finally arrived, it was placed on the table - again, no apology or recognition of the delay. We also had no cutlery at the table and had to ask for it. This too was met with silence and indifference.

The pizza itself was fine, but the customer service was appalling. It’s clear the staff are not trained - or simply not interested - in providing even the most basic level of hospitality.

There are plenty of better options. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere.

I had a truly disappointing experience at Franco Manca Broadgate last Thursday. I was dining with a group of 11 people when, to my shock, I saw a small mouse running inside the restaurant, right in front of us. It came in through a side door next to the kitchen, not from the front room, which was far from where we were sitting. The mouse then hid under a table nearby, so I immediately called a waiter. To my disbelief, he completely ignored me.

I then approached a second member of staff, who dismissively claimed the mouse had been caught—even though it was still right there in plain sight. He then brushed it off and walked away. Frustrated by the lack of action, I stood up and spoke directly to the manager. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the issue, she downplayed the situation and simply offered us a discount.

I made it clear that I was not looking for a discount—I was raising a concern about hygiene standards and the staff’s poor attitude in handling the matter. Rather than offering an apology or any reassurance, she shrugged and said, "We are in London, it’s full of mice here."

This response was completely unacceptable. Hygiene and customer service should be a top priority, especially in a restaurant. The fact that the mouse came in right by the kitchen is extremely concerning. The way both the staff and manager dealt with this issue showed a complete lack of care and respect for customers.

I expected better from Franco Manca. As a loyal customer, I have always enjoyed their food, but I also expect high hygiene standards and a more professional and friendly approach from staff. Unfortunately, this experience has made me question whether I will return.

Have had multiple Deliveroo orders and always arrives cold and takes ages to arrive. Also we always ask for the pizza to be sliced and it rarely is.

Had a lovely meal at Franco manca Northcote road ,served a nice heart shaped pizza on Valentine’s Day , which tasted amazing the staff was nice and friendly. I was served by a lovely young man called Carlito .

Ate at the Cheltenham restaurant this eve with my sister. Were served by the absolutely wonderful Kyle who added to whole evening by going out of his way to give us a terrific service. The pizza was without a doubt, the best pizza i have ever eaten!! Top notch all round. Thank you 👌

Complained about very high postage charge - £4.25, for a normal 1st class stamp, for delivery of a £50 Gift card. Delivery was NOT Recorded, Registered or Signed for. NOTE: cost of a 1st class stamp is £1.65 for 100g, cost to send an 2kg parcel 1st class - £4.79! Also, it wasn’t until I completed the transaction that I realised there was no option of a message. I now have to guess when it will arrive, and tell the recipient who sent them the gift. Their suggestion was that I should have sent an ‘e gift card’ instead. Why have the option of an actual gift card if you can’t include message? I have been conversing with Franco Manco, but they really don’t care. Not happy.

Excellent meal at Franco Manca in Brighton. Fantastic staff, very helpful - especially Maria. And very tasty food. I will visit again soon. Many thanks!

Just called the Birmingham restaurant (31st Jan 1045) - dreadful service. Was looking to book a table of 8 for this evening the lady offered a couple of time options neither of which were suitable, I asked what capacity she did have for the time requested which she advised then said 'ok bye'. Sorry, why such an abrupt end to the conversation - am I missing something!? This was just one example of the poor service received, I asked who I complain to she noted she was the manager, I asked who else I could speak to in the company to which she replied she 'cannot give out that information'. No worries, our custom will go elsewhere, on this occasion and in the future!

Max was utterly charming and attentive as out waiter, bringing water for our dog.

Lovely to see Maria the Manager again whos built such an incredible rapport with us and our sons over the years She's always got a smile and welcoming chat, running her socks off to keep the Brighton Branch running like clockwork.

The staff in the Angel branch are nice. Always end up coming where when we want a nice meal out. Pizza is good and isn’t too expensive

Went to Franco Manca, 16 North Street, Bishops Stortford this evening. Isabel was our waitress, she was very friendly and attentive during our 18th birthday meal with Granddaughter and family. The meal and evening was successful and most enjoyable. The pizzas were all freshly made to order and there was a wide and mouthwatering options to choose from.
