Freedom Couture wigs are beautiful however when my wig arrived it did not look exactly as the image on Instagram. The hair texture felt synthetic and not as silky as what they showed on their website. My unit was dry so I decided to wash and condition it but still no joy and as a result I lost the curls. It ended up tangling even more and I couldn't get my fingers through the hair. At this point I was upset as there was no way I could get refund since I had cut the lace. I had seen some recommendations on a wig forum for a wig shop called moramode. As they prices were slightly cheaper, I did go for a similar wig and the hair was soft, I could run my fingers through it and it had added bounce. I decided to wash it after my experience with Freedom but the wig has help up, so if your wanting to save a buck as I do feel the Freedom wig I purchased was too expensive for my experience.

Company use to have great product but this last wig I purchased was horrible it was shedding everywhere. They said they sealed the knots. I reached out to customer service and sent pictures and called no response. Very disappointed this company is turning out to be a rip off

Very very disappointed! I used to watch the videos, and think that those wigs looked very real, and with excellent quality. However, when I decided to spend that ridiculous amount of money for what you get, I found that it’s basically a scam! Nothing like the pictures and videos (in my opinion). I bought 2, because I was not satisfied with colour of the first one, and because I’ve sent to my sister’s house, and I didn’t see the until now. The lace of the second one it’s really bad, and hair quality for both not good as well, I don’t believe that it’s real hair. I regret a lot buying those wigs, and I advice everyone to get a cheaper one, because there’s no much difference. It’s a brand with a very good marketing that’s all!

I never leave reviews. But i just spent 1300 dollars on a wig that looks incredibly fake. It's really square around the top part of the head, which means it doesn't sit flat on my head instead. The hair feels really nice and the wig is made really well....Just doesn't lool real at all and the shape of wig/ hair line is a little off too...Just disappointed.

First of all I'll start by saying I am not new to weaves and wearing wigs. Been doing so for a very long time! And prior to relocating to Perth. When I lived in Perth...I quickly found out the market for Afro Caribbean hair was limited! So after some research I discovered freedom couture...I wish I hadn't! Would have saved me 1000's.

I have bought several wigs from Freedom Couture and each time I found the quality of their wigs improved slightly what with her new techniques i.e elastic bands, clips etc...but don't expect their wigs to last you longer than a year! And don't be fooled by this packaging illusion they keep advertising... Yes your hair comes in a silky perfumed bag and packaged in a lovely rose gold/white box...but what you want when you are spending that amount of money on hair is durability!

As other reviewers have mentioned and in my personal experience; the shedding of the wigs I had were AWFUL. The density to begin with was around 140g but after a year there's hardly hairs left with all the shedding that's gone on! If you want thicker/fuller density then you're looking to pay 100's extra!!

The texture of the hair always start off silky and soft! But the more you wash and wear them you soon realise they are probably not 'raw virgin' hair as advertised.

The lace...omg the lace...if you're like me and you expect to wear your wigs daily then expect wear and tear literally! I've experienced this with all the wigs -the lace she uses is very tacky and tore easily! Wigs I have bought from previous hairstylists are still wearable! Freedom couture's on the other-hand...put it this way; I wouldn't even wear their wigs to take the bin out or to check the post!!

The actual wigs never looked natural either...in my opinion her wigs always gave me a 'wiggy' look and never sat flat on my head (even with a well fitted elastic band around it). Also you could always see the lace which really defeats the purpose of the illusion you are trying to create with a full lace wig! Maybe her more recent wigs have improved in relation to creating a more realistic lace unit...but personally I would not risk repurchasing from them based on the quality of the hair they produce.

The last straw for me was the customer service or lack of! I have met Francesca on a number of occasions at her previous salon in Subi so I was not a new customer! The impression I got from dealing with the company the last time I tried to order hair was that they don't seem to value the fact that you have continually used their service over the years (considering she initially started the business with a VIP service for her customers - naively I was a VIP member in those days). Based on a more recent experience felt like just a number in their system; perhaps due to the high turnover of staff. The newer staff members just did not seem genuinely nice and interested in working with me to create the wig I was interested in and everything you add on to personalise the wig came with an additional price tag. I also did not like their auction style approach to selling their wigs as it meant you would often miss out on hair you actually liked due to it being sold out! Stay away from browsing their social media account!! Otherwise like myself you'll be fooled by their fake advertisements which is often photo-shopped to perfection!

Lastly, I sincerely encourage anyone reading this who is considering purchasing anything from Freedom Couture to look beyond their social media pages and to search the net perhaps for previous experiences/reviews from their customers prior to investing their hard earned money on hair that will not last you as long as you'd expect for something so expensive and apparently luxurious. I've reverted to having hair sent to me in Australia from home (the UK) after learning the hard way and wouldn't want anyone going through the same experience!!

I ordered a short wig from Freedom Couture. The wig looks nothing like the Instagram pictures , videos and demonstrations. Doesn't fit properly or sit flat to the head. The straps cover the ears and the fabric bunches up at the side of the head. Totally unwearable as it looks more like a hat. Very fake and unnatural looking. It was also advertised as Kim k inspired (platinum) but was actually a dirty blonde colour. Extremely dissatisfied with the product I paid Nearly 1k for. Refund being refused. The wig net is actually a piece of cut up tights. Would not recommend this company at all
