Absolutely terrible customer service after the system has been installed. It took me four attempts to get a reply at all for a request to set up my solar/battery system having just moved in. I'm now sitting at home waiting for the engineer to arrive (due earlier today), I can get no answer from any of their phone numbers including the complaint line, sales, accounts, admin... I've had no confirmation they are coming, and no way to find out what is happening. I'm writing this review in the hope someone will respond. If you don't see an explanation and an apology in response to this review, I recommend you don't touch this company with a barge pole.

It’s still early days but my experience so far has been very positive. The representative who came out for the site visit was very helpful and informative, answering all of our questions. The installation date was set for a month later. The scaffolding arrived the day before and set everything up within a few hours. On the next day the engineers arrived promptly and had completed the full installation within about eight hours. Everything was carefully explained to me and I found the app easy and intuitive to navigate. Any time I have needed to contact the office with a question the phone has been answered promptly and my queries dealt with. The scaffolding was removed within a couple of weeks and the system seems to be working well. Time will tell as to its long term reliability, but the early indications are promising. It has been a pleasant and satisfactory customer experience in my dealings with Fresh Electrical Solutions to date.

Equipment was delivered on time and fitted extremely well by the engineer even though the link between battery/inverter to the main fusebox was not straight forward. At the finish he left everything in very good order. Communications between company and myself always expedited well.

Lynn and her technical team Fresh Solar very professionally completed the Solar Panel system installation at my residence. They were friendly and easy to communicate to during the installation period and making the project work. Lynn is particularly impressive with her way of working and helping us on deciding the Solar Panel system installation project. I hope that their extensive warranty offers are worth it in the future and are reliable if any issues arise. Big thanks to the Fresh Solar Electricals solution Ltd team.

Tried many times to contact the tech support on 01268214801. No one answered the phone. No chance to leave a message.
Very poor customer service

Having interview 6 different companies I was attracted to ‘Fresh Solar ‘ a family company for many years for their overall cost and quality of the panels from Spain as recognised as one of the top brands . The installation in 3 hrs 12 panels large 5kw battery plus inverter and additional black protective bsurraounding bird netting and 6 extra bits for shade avoidance to give full incoming light power .. Lyn who I dealt with was brilliant in explaining every item and answering every question and her knowledge was extremely good .. the work undertaken on the day and finish was top class

Terrible experience with Fresh Solar (via Costco). After paying £8,000 upfront for a Tesla Powerwall 3 and solar panels, my home has been left without working sockets for 5 days. No hot water, no cooking, no fridge, no WiFi – with a pregnant diabetic wife and a young child needing refrigerated medicines.

Independent electricians confirmed poor workmanship – loose cabling, no surge protection, wrong CT clamp fitting, unsafe main switch, and no commissioning certificates. Even after two visits from Fresh Solar’s own electricians, the issues remain unresolved.

Completely unacceptable, unsafe, and unprofessional service. I never recommend Fresh Solar to friends and family.Still waiting for urgent action and compensation.”

We worked with Fresh Solar through the solar together scheme. Although there were some issues with our details being passed over to the team, once we had arranged the surveyor to come round everything was really easy and quick to sort. The guys on the day were quick and efficient and clearly explained the system to us. We would recommend them and the scheme to others.

Shockingly bad company, rude salesmen and non existent support. Use them at your own peril. I would go with a far more reputable and helpful company, do not trust them to have your back at any stage of the process

We made tentative steps to find out about solar panels and we were inundated. The majority wouldn't commit to a house inspection, only to supply an online survey and quote. The only supplier that didn't hesitate was Fresh Electrical, Lin Spreadbury, their salesperson, came round inspected the loft, viewed the roof and gave a full explanation of solar panels, ancillary equipment, expected savings and options of systems. Lyn was extremely professional, which gave us the confidence to proceed. The installation went ahead with no complaints regarding the scaffolding crew or the installation of cables and electrical equipment. Unfortunately the solar panel installation and bird guard we were not so happy with. We called Fresh Electrical and discussed the problem, they didn't hesitate to sort the problem. Lin came round the next working day and agreed it wasn't right. Fresh Electrical organised a second installation team reasonably quickly (Ricky and Bob(?)) they sorted out the problem. They were a good couple of lads, who did a superb job in about 1.5 hours and now it looks very neat and tidy and we are happy. Just awaiting the removal of the scaffolding and the MCS certificate.

I chose this company because of Ravi’s professionalism, product knowledge, and friendly approach — he explained the process clearly and made me feel confident in proceeding. The team (Dan and Ravi) has also been very responsive whenever I’ve raised questions, which I truly appreciate.

That said, there were a few aspects of the installation that could have been handled more in line with the original plan and professional best practices — such as inverter/battery location, panel layout, cable management, and placement of the consumer unit. While some of these have since been addressed, clearer communication between sales, installers, and the customer would help avoid last-minute changes and ensure expectations are met.

Overall, I value the team’s expertise and willingness to help, and I hope to see even stronger attention to detail in future projects.

An excellent customer service experience from start to finish. Mark Robertson (on the sales team) did a wonderful job understanding our needs, explaining our options and supporting us through the sales process. He was never “pushy” - giving us time to peruse the information emailed, and answering the numerous questions we had.

The scaffolding team was professional and quick, and the installation team showed attention to detail and consideration for the final “look” and impact on the aestetics of the house.

When we contacted customer care re: an accidental damaged roof tile, this was professionally handled to our satisfaction.

And Kelsey Pope did a wonderful job in dealing with the vast amount of paperwork involved in the installation.

We are very satisfied with the outcome and impressed by the service received.

Fresh Electrical Solutions made the whole process of getting solar panels fitted to our house extremely easy and pain-free. Their initial in-person assessment of our requirements was very detailed, the quote was easy to understand, the booking for the actual physical installation was straightforward, the installer was excellent in both the quality of his work and explaining how the system worked afterwards and they even took care of all the necessary paperwork for us, too. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a no-fuss solar panel installation experience.

The whole process was well organised and all the personnel involved were knowledgeable and helpful.
The only downside was having to chase up the office for the paperwork

Hi the experience was learning curb for me, Lyn sales representative was and still is very helpful at all times, she could do enough to help me, and the experts who in stalled the equipment and went out of there way to help me how it all worked and tutorials on U Tube, the experts at Fresh were very helpful, and went out of there way with any problems I had, and go between Lyn which was excellent.
My experience with Fresh was excellent, and really recommended FreshElectricalSolutions.

I chose Fresh after seeing they work with big brands like Costco and reading some decent reviews. The sales team was a bit pushy but nothing unexpected, and while the installation was delayed due to a van breakdown and some broken panels, it eventually got sorted. I had to chase them up to reschedule and later to sort out the final paperwork and scaffolding. There were a few bumps along the way, but everything was resolved in the end.

Office has been very supportive with registering warranties

I cannot recommend this company, I found through Costco. First they said no problem that my house is in renovation, and they committed to an appointment, but they called the day before and told me they won't survey a place that is a "site". The thing is that when else would you want to fit solar panels with batteries if you want all of the cables and parafenalia hidden? He said he would call back after speaking to a manager and never did, they haven't kept the appointment. What a waste of my time!
There's more than enough other good local firms that I can recommend, sorry Costco whose supplier always are good, BUT not this one!
