Terrible company, do not use. Not UK stock and all comes cheaply from china. Left a review about the Motion Sensor Bird Deterrent for Crows: Ideal Pigeon Repeller with Sound Scarer and the review was deleted. Proper scammers

I bought a 'Heavy Duty Log Splitter'. What a misnomer. No dimensions on advert and when it eventually arrived one would be lucky to split kindling with its 3" opening. Attempts to return (advertised as 'easy returns' and 'satisfaction guaranteed') were made extremely difficult and finally refused unless I paid a shipping cost, as high as original purchase. Certainly NOT a company to recommend.

I ordered a Telescopic Walking Stick but after 2 weeks, nothing had arrived, when I asked for tracking information I was told the item would arrive shortly, again nothing arrived so by now 4 weeks had passed and I asked for a refund, nothing. I therefore contacted Paypal for a full refund, which I dually got. A week later the Walking Stick arrived, I then received an email asking for payment! Sorry but you failed to deliver in the stated time frame, you ignored Tracking Info requests and you ignored Paypal, any issues Gear Tech may have about late delivery, need to be taken up via their courier, not the buyer, that's if it was even sent from the UK, which given other reviews posts, appears unlikely.

DO NOT BUY. SCAM company. Good not as advertise and refuse refund or returns

I would 100% never even give one star but had to to be able to review! I ordered a heated gilet that doesn’t state that the power pack is not included. It also didn’t fit correctly and they won’t expect either reason to get a refund! Customer Service changes the reason with every email! Absolutely disgusting!

Do not buy from this company, the description of products is not accurate and they do not work correctly. No willingness to listen to your complaints and resolve issues in an acceptable way.

This company should be shut down. Sold be a fraudulent product, tried giving my incorrect information about my legal rights (insiting on partial refund, paying for postage etc, all of which is not legal under Scottish Common Law for goods of insufficient quality).

Eventually got them to say they'd refund, and surprise surprise that hasn't appeared.

Do not use this company.

Update: I took up the case via PayPal and sent all correspondence, including how gear tech had blamed the issue on PayPal, and I got the money back. Please do pursue this and get in touch with Citizens Advice if you get in a position like I did

Bought a tracker to keep tabs on my son when he's out. Tracker arrived but didn't have anything like the functionality advertised.
Contacted Gear Tech. Got fobbed off constantly. Refused my return.
After a while, I ended up disputing the charge with my bank. Even then, they disputed it. Finally got confirmation of refund being confirmed.
Gear Tech are selling shoddy goods and then trying to ignore any consumer rights. Avoid like the plague.

Where is the rating for very poor i.e no stars? This company and its customer service are the absolute pits I purchased a heated gillet advertised as with a battery pack. When the garment arrived, it was of poor quality and had no battery pack. I have now spent months trying to get a refund If expletives were allowed, I would use so many DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I only gave one star as zero stars wasn't an option. I bought two pairs of heated insoles as Christmas gifts. Neither pair worked. I'm still in negotiations with customer services regarding a refund.

I purchased a 2tb external ssd drive from gear tech. When I went to transfer photos and videos from my laptop, each time I tried an error came up during the transfer process. I got in touch with them in order to return the drive for a refund. That is where their so called fuss free returns process as stated in their website became subjective. They refused to accept a return as “the drive and my laptop were compatible” in their judgement. It may be compatible but not operational. They offered a 15% refund as a good will gesture which I am not really happy with as I am stuck with an item that I cannot use. I have now gone through PayPal to try to get a refund. Let’s see what happens.

Now, first of all, the initial fault was mine, I purchased an £82 external hard drive(Chinese of course, it had to be) from these sharks in January 2025. It is not unreasonable that I did not use it until Sept 2025 but when I came to use it I found-as confirmed by APPLE- that the blessed thing did not work. I then contacted FaHaD in Customer Service who was very nice at first offering a refund if it did not work. He wanted me to send a video to show why it would not configure. After a week of faffing around he then said, sorry he could not refund me as I was past the 30 day refund policy deadline. I THEN found from Marty Lewis on MoneyExpert that the shoddy Consumer Act Laws DO back up these sharks. Now, that is my fault, as my wife says NEVER AGAIN buy any tech thing online, go to a shop like Currys that you can return something to and where there is a complaints procedure. These sharks have absolutely no complaints procedure, they would not know one if someone pointed it out. FaHaD is duplicitous and lacks integrity as when I threatened him with Trading Standards he then said they had changed their mind and a refund would be in my account by 18th December 2025. THAT never appeared, so true to form they are natural born sharks. GUYS AND GALS AVOID THIS CREW LIKE THE PLAGUE, THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS. Everything is my fault I should have checked the reviews on Geartech as they ALL say similar things to this. Guess what I bet the British Government laws allowing companies to go bankrupt and set up under a new name will happen here as suddenly these fraudsters will find is catching on so they will re-name themselves won't they? Avoid this company. I was sent to SSD drives which are faulty and unusable. Gear Tech state that "If a product develops a fault within 30 days of purchase, you can request a refund, replacement, or repair."
The customer service do not acknowledge this or try to honour it. I have started a dispute through PayPal. Don’t be tempted by the cheap prices, complete waste of time and money.

Received poor quality goods. Requested a return, but emails bounced back from the email address listed. Found another email address and have messaged several times, including via their site and all have been ignored. Avoid as this site is a scam.

Totally misleading, unreasonable response to complaint and refusal to refund. Product terrible quality. Website is misleading, do not purchase from the company.

Terrible - you MUST avoid. They refuse to accept the distinction between 'reusable' and 'rechargeable'. I purchased 'rechargeable' heated slippers, but not having a battery pack, they are unable to hold a charge and must remain plugged into the mains. And the quality of the product is sub-standard.
Reading the other reviews it is clear they know what they are doing and hopefully their demise will come quickly

The product we received was different from the one specified on the website. Heated insoles advertised as rechargeable with thermostat. What we received had to be connected to a power supply at all times to heat up and no way of controlling temperature and not rechargeable given there was no internal battery to recharge
Obviously contacted customer service who responded quickly tbf but constantly dismissed our complaint despite taking and sending screen shots of website description etc
Offered 20% off any further orders - no thanks
15% refund if returned but return to warehouse in China would cost more than the product
Very disappointed as item was Christmas present

Absolutely awful these guys need to be stopped from trading they nothing but cowboys and that is an insult to a cowboy. Use them at your loss..

Complete scam, item delivered nothing like image on website. They have refused replacement. Company needs shutting down looking at reviews
