The customer service is excellent

The customer service is excellent. I've had a few questions since signing up for hair care and skin care trials and every email I sent was responded to quickly and my question was solved in one email exchange. Customer service consistently goes out of its way to ensure you have a great experience with the products. I can't say enough good things about this company.

This $28 dollar for a bottle of eye…

This $28 dollar for a bottle of eye crème that’s .17 fl ounces is diahrrea, the bottle isn’t as big as my thumb. This absolute diarrhea should cure cancer for that price and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Thanks for your feedback, John. We haven't been able to find any orders associated with your name in our system, so we've requested some additional customer details from you so that we might be able to speak to your experience a little more directly.

To confirm, we package our eye creams in a 5 ml bottle intended to last 30+ days and a 10 ml bottle that typically lasts customers over 90 days when following its application instructions, splitting one pump of the eye cream between both undereyes. That's less than $1 a day for reduced wrinkles, dark circles and other signs of aging.

These god damn thieves charged me 4…

These god damn thieves charged me 4 times the original price of what I purchased. Upon asking for a refund for a product that is still in transit, they denied it even though the product will be completely untouched. They had the audacity to offer me 30% back on a 223$ bill. NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY FROM THESE THIEVES

Thanks for your review, Eric. Our team takes extra care to transparently communicate membership details with any customer who is purchasing with us on a recurring basis.

In our diagnostic results we first outline how long our membership trial period lasts, its associated ongoing costs and how often customers will receive subscription orders upon completion of the trial. Customers typically answer our skin quiz to find a personalized regimen that fits their needs best before receiving their results and those membership details.

Then, we explicitly call out on the checkout page in multiple places that purchasing a personalized trial order will lead to recurring orders, which customers can update from their account at any point during the course of their trial and longer term subscription. To be clear, customers must give explicit manual consent to these terms if they wish to take advantage of our heavy trial discounts, and purchase of a membership trial cannot be completed unless those terms are acknowledged and agreed to.

And finally, in our order confirmation email we again outline the length of our trial period and prompt customers to manage their own subscription details from their account page, where they can postpone an order, adjust the products they’re receiving, or cancel outright.

We are deeply committed to maintaining the highest quality and safety standards for our customers, and once our products have left our facility, in order to preserve the integrity of each item, we are unfortunately unable to accept a return of them. We understand that this policy might be different from what you're used to when ordering from other online retailers and genuinely appreciate your understanding that, as a small personal care business, it’s crucial for us to prioritize our customers’ health and safety. Within our industry, returned goods must always be disposed of because the safety and efficacy of the products can no longer be ensured after they've left our possession. Our team was happy to provide you with a credit on the purchase, and our skincare specialists are always happy to work with customers one-on-one to dial in their regimens to ensure their routines fit within budget.

I have sensitive skin and even the simplest products cause breakouts, irritation and redness. I am currently using Regimen set 05 and I have experienced zero problems with any items in the set. The face wash lathers really nicely and leaves my face feeling rejuvenated. The morning moisturizer is wonderful and applies well and absorbs quickly into my skin. The evening cream and eye cream apply the same and are both amazing. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to use skin care but always has issues with other products, its nice to have something you can rely on.

Great customer service

The product works very well and has for years. Their customer service has also been great. On two separate occasions I have emailed asking for help and both times they helped me quickly and efficiently.

Amazing support agents

In the past 6 months that I've been using the products, I have contacted their support for questions and making adjustments to my subscription/what products are delivered to me.

Their support agents, especially two of them I've been in contact, have been extremely helpful and patient with my newbie questions and have helped me to adjust my regimen/skincare routine for me.

The products themselves, have improved my skin a little bit, and I'm hoping to see more improvements down the road.

The Ultimate Skincare Brand

I’ve been using Geologie for about 1 year now and it has been the pivotal change in my skin’s appearance. I used to have acne all over my cheeks and a little on my forehead and chin. After a couple months I started seeing big changes; especially after the purging phase. My skin looks so much better now and is practically to being completely clear.

I had a lot of guidance from professions from the Geologie staff throughout my journey. When I first got my skincare regiment from Geologie my skin got irritated and itchy, however, Andy at Geologie told me about this little thing called “Purging” and this is where you skin gets worse before it gets better and it means the product is actually working. I also expressed other concerns with the team at Geologie and they never backed down from helping me.

All in all, with the quality of Geologie products and their fantastic customer support, there is no doubt that Geologie is the best skincare brand out there!

Deceptive Marketing Tactics--Disputed Charge

Just finished up a dispute with them regarding the trial that others have discussed in this thread. To be honest, I have a hard time believing the positive reviews at all. I am assuming they are strictly talking from a product quality perspective because the best skincare product I have ever used would not be enough for me to recommend their company.

I was offered a "FREE SAMPLE" in which I would receive 4 sample items for just the cost of shipping. I placed this order on May 3 and then on May 31, I was charged $195.89 for a monthly subscription of those 4 items + 1 item I had paid to be added to the free sample gift. At no point in the checkout process had I agreed to a monthly subscription. I do not doubt that they probably have it in 6pt font somewhere near the bottom but regardless, what we are now discussing is the use of incredibly deceptive marketing tactics. I emailed the company BEFORE the charge fully hit my account, requesting a refund and cancellation. They do not refund, they do not accept returns. Going from $8 shipping under the guise of a FREE GIFT to then being charged monthly for almost $200 is massively irresponsible, disingenuous, and exploitative. They do not care about their consumers despite the fact their charge on my account would've put me into over-drafting my account. This is not how you keep new business.

Countless companies, including software companies and airlines, have been targeted with lawsuits by FTC for things like hiding fees or terms, and preventing easy cancellation. Geologie's marketing practices feel no different to me. I was able to receive a refund with my dispute, however, avoid the hassle completely and do not buy from this company!

This is a "free trial" scam company!

This company is terrible!!! I didn't order $200 worth of skin care (original order just $42) and with NO RETURN policy. What a terrible way to scam customers!!
Update: They did email me back offering me $20 off. The point is STILL I didn't order another $200 purchase so NO $20 won't settle this.
Update 2: They decided to refund the purchase price but STILL would require that I PROVE to them that I donated the product to a non-profit or someone in need.
Moral of the story: Don't order from this company or your credit card is at risk of being charged ANY large sum.

We outline membership details in our diagnostic results; on our checkout page in multiple places, where we require explicit acknowledgment and consent to automatic refills from customers before a subscription trial can be purchased; and again in our order confirmation email after purchase. Membership details can be reviewed and updated at any time from the customer account portal, and our support team is also always happy to help answer any questions or lend a hand with adjustments needed along the way.

I was charged far more than I agreed to and feel distraught

Similar to a few of the other reviews here, I purchased the product with a discount code just to try it out. I thought the product was actually pretty alright and I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for it at first. Then, about 1 month later, I checked my account and saw a $280 transaction which, I really couldn't afford. I'm going through the process of seeking a refund and as the response I did receive failed to acknowledge the high charge, I'm heavily considering pursuing this further. This charge was unprompted and again, similar to some other recounts on here, I received no notice of a product being shipped or purchased. Now I fear that their refund policy will say that they can't do anything, even upon review, the charge shouldn't have been more than $77 every 3 months as it said at checkout on their website, even with the trial period accounted for it was never displayed to cost anything over $80.
