Great Company, Strong Product

Geologie is a great company that makes a great product. I use their skin care products but have also recently gotten into their natural deodorant which is awesome. I’ve also connected with their Customer Service to talk about a shipment delay and not only did they respond right away, they made sure a new shipment went out same day and it showed up ahead of schedule.

Great idea…

I think that this product at this time is a good fit for me. Having used so many different products I found these to suit my needs. And the convenience of not having to remember to buy more with there subscription service makes it a no brainer for lots of people.

When I first went on the geologic…

When I first went on the geologic website it was very easy to set up a skincare routine with some simple questions about me and now that I have the products It is an easy job because it came with directions on how to treat my skin and step by step instructions and all the products do good for my skin in a different way and I cannot imagine going back before I used geologic

Misleading deals

Legitimate business and their products arrived and seemed good quality.
Reason for low rating - their ‘sample’ offer at 80% is scummy. They will charge full price for this sample if you do not convert to a subscription afterwards. While this is listed a long way down in the small print, I guarantee I would not have gotten the sample if I had read this point, and I’m sure a lot of other people wouldn’t either.
Shame, because they seem like a decent business otherwise, but where I’m from this would be considered scummy as hell.

We simply ask you try out the regimen for 14 days to get a sense of whether the products and membership are right for you. Be cautious

Be cautious when ordering from this company. I placed an order as a gift and the wrong items were sent. I emailed the company to let them know that I am requesting a refund because the replacements would not arrive on time. My email was simply ignored, they went ahead and sent me another shipment and refuses to give me a refund. I told them that I am willing to send these back, but they wouldn't take it since they cannot ensure that they have not been tampered with. When I inspect the items, there is not any tamper resistant protection on their items... so how can they ensure its true quality in the first place? Anyone can tamper with these products from the second they are in shipment. When I asked for a call, I was ignored. After multiple emails... the best they would do is to give a 50% refund. I feel like this company had potential, but after this incident, they simply do not care about your experience... it's all about the money.

I've been using Geologie products for over a year now and I'm quite satisfied with the results. My skin is noticeably cleaner and clearer. On top of that, the customer service is very quick and attentive.

I bought a £40 trial pack for a male…

I bought a £40 trial pack for a male relative with no idea I had unwittingly signed up for a subscription service until I was charged £180 for the next order a month later! No returns once product dispatched policy leaves me with little option except to post this cautionary review to any potential customers.

Our team transparently communicates membership details with all customers who choose to purchase a personalized subscription trial with us before, during and after checkout. Happy to share more info with you on where we highlight those key touch points and what information is communicated.

We first outline how long our membership trial period lasts and its associated ongoing costs in our diagnostic results. Customers typically answer our skin type quiz to find a personalized skincare regimen that fits their needs best before receiving their results and those membership details.

Then, we explicitly call out on the checkout page that purchasing a personalized trial order will lead to recurring orders, which customers can update from their account at any point during the course of their trial and longer term subscription. To be clear, customers must give explicit manual consent to these terms if they wish to take advantage of our heavy trial discounts, and purchase of a membership trial cannot be completed unless our Refill Policy is acknowledged and agreed to.

And finally, in our order confirmation email we again outline the length of our trial period and prompt customers to manage their own subscription details from their account page, where they can postpone an order, adjust the products they’re receiving, or cancel outright. Customers can log into their account with us at any time to view the pricing for an upcoming order. We also offer an opportunity within this confirmation email for customers to opt into receiving upcoming order notifications from us so that any adjustments can be made prior to order processing if customers are not actively logging into their account with us on their own. Furthermore, we outline our subscription cancellation, return and refund policies in all three of these spots, too, in addition to hosting them publicly in our FAQ's.

This is a predatory business.

This is a predatory business.
They give you no confirmation that you're signed up for a subscription, or how much any future orders will cost.
Then they take nearly £200 out of your account. When you complain and ask for it to be cancelled, they tell you they cannot cancel or refund it. Even though I complained as soon as I saw the charge come out of my bank.

They were unhelpful, even tried to offer me more products and options in their replies, all I want is to cancel this order they signed me up to and get a refund. I do not want their products and I had no idea how much this would cost.

From reading many other customer experiences, this seems common business practice for them. Absolutely predatory.

Great skin care products

Great skin care products! I have used a bunch of skin care routine products from some of the more inexpensive items in Target to the other side of the spectrum where you are looking at $150 for a jar of night cream. I find Geologie products to be at a great price point, easy to use, easy to understand, and is very effective. Great stuff!

3 months and counting!

I've been using the Geologie system for my face and body for 3 months now. I've seen great improvement in acne breakouts and dryness. They also have great customer service and email you back quickly and give great information. For example, the retinol in the night cream caused me to peel but they encouraged me to stick drug it and they were correct. My skin adjusted and it is now very beneficial. I'm very happy with their products.

I love the 3 minute mask!

I really enjoy the products. My favorite is the 3 minute mask, but the regimen is great too. I have never been able to be consistent with a skincare regimen until now and i just turned 50 recently.
I was fully aware that with the trial I was signing up for a subscription. I have been able to change my order with no challenges and even was able to update my delivery and transaction date.
