Have had two successful bakes from this starter so I’m very happy. A couple of thoughts 1) the instructions and starter are slightly different from other starter providers (I know, I’ve tried a few!!)... Voir plus

We are a small but very passionate sourdough business based in London. From growing our sourdough starter to being obsessed with the best ingredients and techniques we hope to bring the joy of baking bread to more homes. We try to use the most sustainable ingredients and packaging where we can, which includes almost zero plastic when shipping (minus the packaging tape) and sourcing flour from local British mills.

Baked a good loaf the next day.
Arrived as advertised. Followed the instructions ok and baked a good loaf the following day. Hoping to keep the starter going ok and get into a good rhythm for baking - although will only need a loaf every 3 to 4 days.

So glad to hear that Rosemary, we recommend you keep your starter in the fridge between bakes (that way you don't have to feed it nearly as often). We do this ourselves and it works a charm.

View good. Ordered on Thursday and it was dispatched the same day. Packaged perfectly. Upon opening the glass jar there was a very satisfying blow of air that smelt perfect.
While starting your own sourdough isn’t difficult, I definitely have a more confidence of this starter than I have of my own.
Would definitely recommend.

The best sourdough starter!
The process from ordering to delivery was seamless. I’ve always been hesitant to make sourdough because it always seems complex, but having clear instructions along with the starter was great! Would definitely recommend!!
