Do not buy from Go ready
I spent 900+ on travel insurance to cover preexisting conditions. We had to can and now im getting the runaround from their "claim agent: Cbp'zurich. Not a happy camper. They've had 26 days already but asked for more documents so now im at the back of the review line and should expect 15 business days to hear. THIS IS A SCAM

I had several questions
I had several questions, and was lucky enough to get Elizabeth on the phone--she was amazing! So patient and kind; cleared up several of my questions and even emailed everything I needed to make my decision, plus a link for purchase as I was having trouble with the link in the quote. Could not have asked for more!

The retreat I was going to in Ecuador was cancelled and the trip insurance I signed up for did not cover my cancellation of the trip “for any reason.” The agent I spoke with about filing a claim said I had 14 days after signing up for the travel insurance for this trip to add “for any reason,” which would include the retreat being cancelled. I cannot get reimbursed through this travel insurance for my non-refundable round-trip airline ticket because as my insurance policy for it now stands, the cancellation must be rather fault of the airline, not the retreat organizer. Wish I had known this before buying the insurance. Do not order travel insurance off a website like I did, but rather talk with an insurance agent to be sure you are getting the coverage you need for your particular trip!

"Cancel For Any Reason" (CFAR) coverage is not included with most standard travel insurance policies throughout the industry. As stated on our website for the plan you selected, it is an optional upgrade that must be purchased separately and is only available within a limited time after the initial policy purchase.
