We had a fantastic week staying in Chalet Everest as a group of families with kids - some of us repeat customers. The shuttle service to and from the slopes made everything run smoothly. The food from our chef for the week, Minda, was top class and he made the kids their food earlier in the evening, which we were really grateful for. Overall a seamless service as always - big thanks to Mat and the team - we will be back!

Skiing made easy. Great team that take all the running around out of you ski week to make it easy. The team brought our skis and ski passes to us at the chalet and then we were able to use the chalet bust to get to and from the slope in minutes. The entire team knew the mountain well and gave great tips on where to go etc. This coupled with amazing food morning and evening and the Hot tub to relax the muscles makes for a truly relaxing trip.

A group of 13 of us stayed at Chalet Everest in Meribel in the last week of February 2026. The chalet is a 5-10 minute walk from the town centre where the main lift stations are (Chaudanne). Maybe an extra 5 minutes if you are with skis and boots. The shuttle service makes this mostly irrelevant though with pick ups available from 8-11am and then 4-7pm, all included in the price. You just WhatsApp or call the drivers and they will come and pick you up from where you are.

The chalet itself is nice, though not at the luxury end. My group was very happy with it though and we were well looked after. The sauna and 8 person hot tub were popular. The chalet staff were outstanding, very friendly and the chef cooked us fantastic meals every evening, with canapes followed by a three course dinner. The rooms were cleaned every day to a good standard.

Mat was brilliant and helping us organise things. We took up his suggestion of using Ski Candy for ski hire and their equipment drop off and pick up service was seamless.

I would definitely stay here again and would use Go Ski Meribel again. Thanks for a great trip!

Superb stay, incredibly friendly team, the food was absolutely superb and hosting couldn’t be more welcoming. We’re coming back!

Chalet Meru was great, with everything you could want. The food and drink was exceptional, the service (shout out to Bella!!!) was also amazing.

Thoroughly recommend and will be booking for next year.

An experience that will forever be the benchmark future ski holidays.

TLDR

All in all, a holiday to remember. My first holiday in the 3 Valleys. And whilst the ski conditions wasn’t the best nor the worst I’ve ever had, the goskimeribel experience was an absolute game changer and a 5 star experience all around.

If you like the details;

Having ski holidays as a staple of my yearly vacationing for nearly 15 years, you tend to find what works, stick with it and not take any risks given the expense of entire week. This meant years of staying in pretty average apartments and hotels which have been fine at getting the job done. “You don’t spend that much time in the room anyway” you find yourself justifying every
Year.

With a change in this year’s company, and the challenges to get 8 people agreed on dates and budgets that work for everyone. We decided to roll the dice and throw in some catered chalet options for the group.
This seemed to get everyone pretty excited by the change in accommodation type for those that had years of self catering accommodation or lukewarm half board dinners under their belts. And so choosing the chalet option was a deal breaker for those teetering on the edge. Especially given what was being thrown in as part of the package …
But surely there’s got to be catch?

As it turns out, as the title of the review suggests, this is as an experience to influence all future ski options in years to come.

The company as a whole, the accommodation, the food, the services that came with the booking were all incredible and as a group we were constantly complimentary of what we had managed to book for ourself this year. Referring to the holiday as “Great value” would undersell the experience.

With a mixture of abilities and experiences in the group it could’ve easily of been a different holiday. When the ski conditions are not on your side and completely out of your control it can be a frustrating experience on the slopes which a times it was. But having the chalet to come back to after a morning or day of skiing gave the relaxed in-chalet Apres experience another big tick to the entire holiday. Where we would normally head back to rooms and make plans to meet up for dinner.

A special thank you to Debs the incredible chef, Octavia (tavie) our wonderful and charming host, Nick our driver that you wanted to make your best friend and finally Matt who’s company this is, who was not just professional but who has done such a great job pulling this all together.

A huge thank you to everyone in the team even those not specifically mentioned like the other drivers.

Thank you to Mat and his team for the best week in Meribel! It was our first time booking a chalet and it did not disappoint. We stayed in chalet Lagopede which was perfect for our group of 8. Unreal coming back from the slopes to a warm fire, tea/coffee and fresh cakes, beers in the fridge, plus the hot tub and sauna. We were even able to ski home thanks to the dump of snow before we arrived. Our hosts (Debs and Tavey) went above and beyond and the food was amazing each night. The chalet is outside of the main town but this isn’t an issue given the included driver service during the hours you need it most (shout out to our guy Nick), or otherwise able to use the bus service. Ski passes were booked in advance and delivered by Mat on our arrival day, and equipment also delivered and measured up from the comfort of the chalet (slide candy used as per Mat’s recommendation). Would highly recommend GoSkiMeribel. The 3 Vallées is an also huge ski area so lots more ground to cover in future!
Would be very difficult to do it any other way now.

We stayed at Chalet Meru over the New Years holiday. 3 families. Mat and his team make a ski vacation with children so easy. They took care of our transfers to/from the airport, lodging, food (which was excellent!), ski rentals, lift tickets and ski guides. Highly recommend!!!

We had an amazing experience at Chalet Everest! Everything was very well thought out and executed by the hospitality team - from ski rentals to transportation to absolutely incredible breakfasts, dinners and scrumptious afternoon cakes. We were a group of 12 - three families with kids of different ages - and in normal circumstances it takes work to organize everyone on the trip. The team at Chalet Everest made our experience practically seamless - the only thing we had to worry about was to have fun on the mountain. The chalet itself is well appointed and comfortable, with plenty of space for us to gather or to retreat to our own rooms whenever anyone wished. It is located very close to the Meribel center, very easy walk into town for the willing (our teenagers certainly took advantage of that). Overall, it was a great experience, very well worth the expense, and we will certainly be back!

We had a fantastic Christmas week staying at Chalet Everest. The chalet was extremely comfortable and very well equipped for all 14 of us. The staff were amazing and friendly throughout our stay, the food was on another level, and the hosts couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome.

We would highly recommend Chalet Everest — excellent value for money. Hopefully see you all again next Christmas!

We stayed at Chalet Everest as part of a large group over Xmas 2025 and Matt and his team were all amazing. Couldn’t fault it. Lovely & clean. Perfect location. Food by Minda was excellent and Georgia, Nick, Sulamiya & Alicia all made our stay exceptional, with being our hosts and doing the transport drops to/from the slopes. We had an unforgettable Xmas. The hot tub and sauna are so enjoyable after a day skiing. Would love to go back. The afternoon cakes were amazing. 5 stars all round. Great team. Thank you.

great week in Chalet Everest over christmas, can’t recommend it highly enough. I've known Mat for over 20 years and this year 14 of us decided to go to Meribel for xmas. Mat and his team provide an excellent Chalet experience which can’t be faulted. From the airport pick-up to drop off everything inbetween was taken care of. A big shout out to Minda who's a top class chef, also Nick and Georgia (our host) who made our holiday so much fun and thanks for looking after us so well. Looking forward to returning in 2026 ! Dan

Mat is such a brilliant host. Ten of us stayed at chalet meru in February 2025 for a week. I couldn’t improve the chalet in any way, its location, food, staff, and all arrangements were perfect. We all had an absolutely amazing time - the hot tub and sauna were perfect for after a day’s skiing. I can’t wait to go back as soon as possible!

From the moment we landed in Geneva, our entire group was well looked after. The private transfers organised through the company were present on schedule and the transfer to the resort was quick and seamless.

Chalet Everest was perfect for our group; excellent social space within the chalet, sauna and hot tub included, and situated in the Mussillon region of Meribel, it's an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of the village.

I'd like to thank the company staff, who were top-tier, very friendly and approachable. Milda and Jess, our chalet hosts, provided excellent service for the duration of the trip, always on hand to help out if anything was needed. The chalet chef, Minda, prepared spectacular dishes that I would pay serious money for in a restaurant. Like seriously, really really good. There was also a great shuttle service run by the company to take us to the slopes and around the village, perfect for avoiding the long queues for resort buses at peak travel times. Zac, James and Wojiech were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the resort, giving us good recommendations for places to go out, and were always on hand if a pick up was required. I'd also like to thank Mat, the company director. He was really attentive throughout the booking process and made the whole experience seamless and easy.

All in all, I couldn't recommend GSM enough. I will definitely be looking to book another trip with them in the future for my ski group.

Awesome week at Chalet Meru skiing the Trois Vallee. Our host Mat made it a hassle free experience for our group of 12. Chalet has everything you need for a perfect ski experience: comfortable rooms, hot tub and sauna, ski and boot room, log fire and evening drinks … and the food was incredible and service faultless. Highly recommend, will go again!!

What an experience!! Meru Chalet was sensational and perfect for our group of 12. The breakfast and evening meals were first class and made for a luxury stay complete with fireplace, hot tub and sauna. Bedrooms with ensuites and plenty of room. Easy shuttles the 1k to and from the slopes and easy walk to town or the pub when not in ski boots. Mat was an awesome host. Always contactable and attentive to any request. Highly recommend

Everything was first class!!
We stayed at Chalet Meru (12 lads) for six nights. Mat was an exceptional host and even skied with us showing us the mountain. The chalet was newly fitted, had a great social and dining area where we were served amazing meals and drinks plus spa and sauna! The van service with drivers just took all the stress out of getting in the first lift, they were happy to drop and pick you up anytime anywhere with a smile. Mat also organised any transfers to get us all there - Geneva Lyon Moûtiers. And ski Méribel and around is just top level. Best ski trip and holiday ever! Thanks Mat and team
