Really impressed with the service I received. Asked if it could be delivered to a neighbour if I was out and got a message confirming it would be added to the delivery info.

Came for the Plants, Stayed for the Service!
Really great, friendly service and local as well! I'm a repeat and I always buy from Gravelpit whenever I need any extra plants for my reptile terrariums.
If you have the joy of going into the shop, the staff are incredibly helpful and even gave me suggestions on what might work well with my little frog's tank ❤️

I ordered 2 moss poles from Gravelpit
I ordered 2 moss poles from Gravelpit, however due to an administration issue on their part they were unable to fulfil my order. I received a partial refund, they kept £10 of my payment and they have not responded to my email to find out why I had not received a full refund. I will not shop at gravelpit again.

Great products
I was extremely excited to find the “From concrete to cardboard” mini Park Hill at Gravel Pit & ordered it. I then looked further into Gravel Pit and fell in LOVE with the shop. I have to say though that I bought the last one and after 2 days it wasn’t ready for collection, I’d checked my emails countless times as well as junk and spam folders so I went in in person to have a look at the plants & found what i’d ordered sat on the shelf, still the last one there… So I feel like if someone was to buy it that day that I would’ve never got it. Luckily I picked it up and asked if I could take it with me there and then which was fine.
The shop is incredible, just feel like I’d have missed out on a limited edition piece of art had I not happened to go in person that day and found what I’d ordered still sat on the shelf.
Saying that though, it was the same day as Pollen Market so I’m conscious that Gravel Pit will have been busy with that hence not getting around to my order.

You’re order was for collection not shipment and you will have received a notification saying it’s ready to pick up from the shop.
Other customers have stated that they’re collection email went to the junk folder so maybe check there if you can’t find it.
With regard to your concern about the item being on display in the shop and accidentally being sold to another customer; all our stock is on our system so that would not happen. We also have a few more in stock in the basement that are being put on the website asap.
Yes, you’re right we were at Pollen on the Sunday so that weekend was a very busy one!
With all this being said I hope you can see it in your heart to regrade us (higher obv!)
because a 3 star brings down our overall score. As an independent business we need all the hype we can get to compete with big retail chains
