I bought a large number of gluten free pizza dough bundles - 25 I believe - as I followed a link from social media promoting that they were gluten celiac approved ( I am not celiac myself ) . At check out I was encouraged to add on several items including two tubes to help with the pizza making process . I wrongly assumed that they were gluten free - it was my son who noticed when he went to make a pizza . I find this problematic and disappointing . I flagged this and have not had a refund, not even as a good will gesture . Why would I want wheat /gluten alongside an expensive order of inky gluten free dough?

Always use this company for fresh pizza dough. Next day delivery and never any issues.

It appears you sent normal dough balls this is twice I’ve tried to order gluten free dough balls and you’re sending the wrong dough 🤔

I'm lost for words. For over two years I have been trying to find a gluten free base that was anywhere close to the stone baked pizzas I loved before I had to go GF. I have found some that are passable, and a couple that I could even say were good. That's until I bought these balls for our new pizza oven.

Genuinely can't believe it. The dough raised up at the crust, I actually had leopard spotting on the dough and the texture and taste were exactly what I remembered. Nearly brought me to tears 😂 There is usually a chemically taste to GF bases, even if it's only subtle. These balls have none of that. It also annoyed me a little bit because now I know it's possible, why are restaurants so bad at GF pizza bases?

Anyway, the GF balls are out of stock at the moment, but I would happily have these on subscription forever. If I could give 6 stars I would. I do have a photo but doesn't look like I can upload here.

Safe to say GBOF have a customer for life here though 🙌🏼

Fantastic dough balls, super easy to stretch and a great flavour as well. Wife said my pizzas were better than our favourite pizza restaurant! Delivery was nice and early on the advertised day as well. Will be buying more!

Have ordered the pizza dough on 2 occasions from here in the past.

Here is my feedback
- they defrost and prove well
- hard to work with with stretching and becomes sticky
- by the time topping are no consistent to slide of as stickiness build up despite using flour or fine semolina without overdoing it
- crust can cook well, but base stay stodgy

I have tried other brands now to compare if I’m doing something wrong of if it’s just the dough. So far the best one I have found is through Warehouse Pizza a dough they sell on behalf of Pedding Pizzas, which is always consistent, easy to work with, slides of easily, base and crust cooks amazing and most of all no failed pizzas.

I think the recipe needs adapting to make it work for customers at home.

Wanted to try the sourdough variety and along with the discount they didn’t disappoint. Good hydration and easy to work with a nice texture and taste. Tried a 12 pack and will be back for more. Life is so much easier when cooking pizza from ready prepared pizza dough

Quite upset with the experience. I ordered 2 ‘essentials boxes’ which were meant to be presents for 2 different people. The photo shows the product in a GBOF box. I assumed that it would arrive in 2 boxes but unfortunately it came in one big box and all the dough in one freezer bag. I emailed explaining this asking for 2 flat boxes to be sent out so I could still deliver them as presents but the response I got from Aimee wasn’t quite what I expected (as below)

I completely understand your preference to have the two GBOF Pizza Essentials Boxes packed separately for gifting. Your order was shipped together in one package, as shown in the shipment details. Once an order has been fulfilled and shipped as a single package, we're unable to split it into separate shipments afterwards, even if flat packing would work. I’m sorry for any hassle this has caused – I realise it’s a bit more wrapping for you!

She really missed the point suggesting it was more wrapping for me to do really did not help. Steph did step in to take over apologising for those comments. I ended up spending another £20 to make them look like a present and they offered me £5 to go towards it.

Totally un-impressed with the whole experience.

Great product, but the bombardment of promotional emails after ordering was annoying, especially given that th unsubscribe option seemed not to work.

Perfect as usual, in fact, better now because I like the new packaging. Makes getting the dough out the bag and into the tubs much easier.
