great clips i hate you with every bone in my body you RUINED my life when i was a child u gave me the most rancid haircut ever and i hope every one of ur employees has an untimely death

My wife recently visited this Great Clips and had an extremely disappointing experience with one of their hairstylists, Meredith. Throughout her visit, Meredith repeatedly made derogatory comments about my wife and the way she smelled (note: she was freshly showered), who, it bears mentioning is an Indian woman.
Not only were these comments disrespectful and hurtful, but they were also racist micro-aggressions that have no place in a professional setting or in society at large. It is unacceptable for any business to tolerate or condone such behavior from their employees.
l urge Great Clips to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure that all their staff are trained to respect and treat every customer with dignity and professionalism, regardless of their background. It is 2024 - DO BETTER.

I use Rachel at the HWY 46 West Location in New Braundels, Tx. Professional, courteous, kind. Most important, pleases my wife.

My 7th grade son has been growing his hair out for over a year. His big brother has longer hair on top and keeps the sides short.

I took Mason in to get his sides trimmed up and the dead ends off the top. I knew from the beginning something was going to go wrong. The stylist (if you can call her one) was asking the manager questions about the fade he gets from a 1 to a 2. Then she takes the clippers and what took a year to grow was gone in 2 seconds.

I understand people make mistakes. But this a huge mistake that was explained to her 3 times at least.

Me and my 2 sons have been going yo Marion, IL Great Clips for years. They have lost our business!!

I went to the Great Clips on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville, Georgia. I met Jeff, a new stylist there. I showed him a picture of the cut I wanted. He said "I can do that" I have heard that each time I go to get a cut. This time, he was right! Jeff gave me the best haircut I have ever had. He was very focused on detail. Girl totally ignored what I asked for cut my grandsons hair the same length all over He left in tears. Definitely got a 7.95 haircut. Took her a whole 10 minutes. Never again!

Went to Ola Crossroads Great Clips for my 5 year old son. He’s a regular there. His barber Michelle cut his hair this time and nicked his right ear twice. It bled a ton and he’s complaining about it hurting now. Very disappointed. Did not tip and she gave me a very sour look. Called corporate.

Went to Great Clips today to get a haircut for my Mullett. Some people have difficulty getting it right when it comes to Mullets. Jenna, at the Grand Marketplace Great Clips, had no problem at all and had the expertise and skill to give me what was close to the perfect mullett cut! On top of that, she was very personable and was obviously customer service astute. She also pointed out to me that I was eligible for a discount on my haircut. She went out of her way to make me feel valued, welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Jenna and will request her only to do my haircuts in the future. She is simply the best!!!!

My wife went to Great Clips on Market St Lakewood Ranch on Wed 3/20/24. The woman she got stuck with could not really speak English well. She was calling my 71 yr old wife "buddy". She did not even spend 5 minutes cutting my wife's hair. When my wife arrived home , I was appalled by the way she looked. I could do a better job. Then she tried to charge my wife full price instead of the senior rate. I will never let her return in this place. It is a revolving door there and she never gets the same person. I really hope this outfit goes out of business as it is strictly a rip off joint.

I wanna give a 5-star to the grand opening PHR store.
Everytime I walked in and can get a quick schedule for the hair cutting. They were kids-friendly and my kids love their hair-style. Of course the grand opening price is good!

Your online check in SUCKS!!!!! They text me and tell me I am next in line, I drive clear across town, only to tell me that I have to wait 40 minutes to get my haircut because someone's shift ended. WHAT A JOKE. I was a sucker and bought the pre-paid card and am trying to get a refund and the salon says they cant get me a refund I have to call corporate. They can sale them but they cant refund them. STUPID. NEVER USE THIS BUISNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I popped in here to get a quick cut and will never go back. They can't even handle a simple thing like cutting in bangs. They destroyed my very long hair by cutting them in crooked, way further back on one side than the other. I was able to get most of the damage fixed by my usual salon, but she hacked off a piece on the side randomly that just has to grow back out. It will take years. The fixer said it looked like she was trying to cut in a framing layer, only problems were that was done improperly too and only on one side. Also, they refused to refund me. Wish I could give zero stars.

Screwed my wife's hair cut up royally. The shop what I believe to be to many young trainees and only one or two experienced stylist to supervise. One of the experienced tried to help but both sides were uneven and the back wasn't straight.

Always on time, in 13 years never a bad haircut. Only complaint is the price increases but thats out of their hands.

Terrible cut at the Sartell, MN pine one location. I have a bob and asked for layers. Instead of layers the stylist cut straight across the midsection of my hair. Plus, the length was uneven. Been going there for years, but will not be back due to too many bad haircuts like this. The stylists don’t seem to care about doing a professional cut. The stylists themselves have poorly coiffed hair and do not dress appropriately.

I am just a former employee. Worked for Great Clips for several years prior to moving to Chattanooga Tennessee. It was only a couple of months after working at Great Clips and things didn't work out. Instead of trying to further train me in the area they thought I was lacking in they terminated me. I can live with that but then I was due wages that were not paid to me. And because I did not work for the company anymore no one would answer my calls and no one would give me my bonus money for working for wildfire LLC Great Clips. I've never given a bad review for any place that I've ever worked and it really makes me sad that I'm doing it now. Mary is the owner. Never met the other owners so I'm only going to use her name. I would not work for her. Not one time has she ever taken one second of her day to respond to me not getting paid. Not one second of her time. I don't want to work for anybody that doesn't have one second for me

I've been going to this location for several years. Today was an absolute nightmare. So I bring a picture of what my kids tell me is a good picture of me with my haircut. The woman, ALISHA, begins to tell me that she can't use the picture as it is only a picture of me from the front and she would need a picture of me from each side and the back. Ok I said, was doing the best that I could considering I don't know much about cutting hair. I tried some small talk, but felt she was being very short and rigid with me. Alisha then told me she was trimming my sideburns, and she proceeded to cut one off, just one. I had to ask her to make the other side match. And then she proceeded to tell me why I was wrong for wanting that because the other side should've been squared off or whatever lingo she used that witch I'm not familiar with because I don't cut hair for a little and last time I checked that was not a barber and I didn't need to worry about anyone touching my beard. I didn't ask her to touch my damn sideburns. I had to ask her in the middle of the haircut, if I had done something to offend her. She asked me why I thought that several times in fact she stopped cutting my hair until I responded stating that shipping behaving very short with me and then she tried to crack a stupid joke about her being physically short and I said that's not what I was talking about. I simply remained quiet after that until I asked her to take a little bit more off of the sides. She does that and does not even correct the top so I now have a 2 to 4 fade when originally I've always had a 3 to 4 fade. It clearly does not match, and one side is actually much shorter than the other on the top. She didn't even try to adjust the top. She just took the thing off my neck and that was it. Didn't blow the hair didn't do anything. The stylist to our right heard every bit of it, and in fact, chimed in calling Alisha a babe after she overheard her making the stupid joke about her height. And she charged me more for this chop job then what I'm normally pay. And it's not about the cost. It's about the principal. And now I'm going to have to go spend more time on my Sunday to get this nonsense fixed because it looks like hell because I have a professional life to attend to tomorrow. that I'm going to have to pay someone else to correct. Yes I still tipped her.

I was at the Great Clips at Iliff Commons, (Salon #0489) on 2-20-24. Maria did a wonderful job on my cut and shampoo. She is a true professional and I will be using her services from now on. Thanks Maria and WELL DONE! Edward

The location I visited was Woodmont Village, Augusta Rd, Piedmont. SC. My hairdresser’s name was Nikeah. She is the #1 reason I am writing this review. She was absolutely incredible! She treated me as if I were her only customer. She took time to really listen to what I wanted and she figured it all out giving me her professional opinion which I appreciated. She became familiar with my hair and we discussed every detail before she made one clip. She literally transformed me. I made “Before” and “After” photos which I wish I could share!! You wouldn’t believe the difference! The salon was very clean and all the other staff were very friendly and welcoming. I even bought a product and left a different person feeling very confident and with a higher self-esteem! You are very fortunate to have her working as one if your stylists! Happy in SC!

The Great Clips in Bulverde, TX has been my go to for some time. My stylist is Amy and is awsome! Always a great cut, short wait time and friendly. And usually find some sort of coupon, which helps. Recommend this location (and the stylist I go to - others might be great also) wholeheartedly!
