Hele Bay Adventures Avis 

Well organised, very informative, good explanation of tide, wind, currents, even a photograph of the areas we would be safe kayaking. Most comfortable kayaking we've done, we had padded seats! Thank you Hele Bay Adventures, my family had a really fun time!

Had an absolutely fantastic guided tour with Dan today exploring the hidden vibes beaches and caves East and West of Helebayadvetures base in the beach
Dan pointed out the history of the area and was very knowledgeable as well as being an excellent tour guide
I would recommend highly
Note if you’re going, about Hele Bay parking - it can be a bit limited and takes some time for a space to be free in the car park, which is easy to pay with Ringo and the cost is a bargain for 3 hours or a day

We booked a kayak session for 8. The booking was easy and Dan was very friendly and helpful. The briefing and safety talk was clear and helpful. We spent 2 hours exploring the beautiful secluded coves. Dan checked we were all fine half-way though. Our bags were safely where we left them at the end and we left very happy with the whole experience.

The 2 hour kayaking guided tour was a great experience. Our instructor Dan was second to none - very knowledgeable, relaxed and easy to talk to. Friendly people and excellent service - highly recommend! :)

Great kayak tour with Dan. We had a small group, he gave a brilliant door, full of information about the area, the wildlife and the best spots. Really humble, personable and a fabulous team working with him. We had a great time and would definitely come again

As a family of 4 we booked the kayaking tour as had never tried it before. Dan came out with us in the bay showing us how to stay safe and use the kayak and even took photos of our afternoon adventure! He also suggested we could try paddle boarding which we all enjoyed - something else we had never tried. Wetsuits, life jackets and dry bag provided. Nothing seemed too much trouble and everything was so conveniently located in Hele Bay on the beach. Would definitely go back again should we revisit.

On our visit to Hele Bay my family and I went sea kayaking and stand up paddle boarding with Hele Bay Adventures. Neither of my children, pre teen and teenage, had done this before. From the moment of enquiry this family run team covered everything, all safety equipment, how to explore the bay safely, taking us through the manoeuvres and having great fun at the same time. The convenience of their beach location and booking made everything simple and their attention to detail regarding different weather fronts meant that we could just relax and enjoy the experience. Me and my son did the starter session. Our guide was really helpful and we had a great time. Will definitely be on our to do list next time we’re down. Hele is a lovely little place to adventure around.

Highly recommend kayaking experience, went with my daughter and husband, Dan very knowledgable about the area and sea, fitted us with life jackets and made sure they were secure, my husband was very nervous so didn’t want to go out past standing area but ended up going out a lot further and not wanting to go back, dan came out in his kayak to make sure we were all fine, we would see him checking on everyone with kayaks and sups while out in the water, let us try double kayak at no extra charge as it was quiet, we all loved our experience and will be booking a safety session with dan, we have hired kayaks from a nearby area with no checks to properly fitting life jackets and it ended in risk to life, can’t recommend Helebay adventures enough, easy to find, tent on the bay, everyone friendly and helpful, defiantly going back, would give 10 stars if I could.

Fantastic!! Hired paddle boards and kayaks for brothers birthday! Dan and his son were second to none! Having never done it before, they talked us through everything, spent time with each of us explaining how to use the boards/kayaks, where to go, the water.
Dan even came out and checked on us to ensure we were ok part way through, which was really reassuring

Hired a paddle board last weekend - they were very helpful, knowledgable about the local waters, and had a spare board they gave us for free as it was quiet and there were two of us. Thank you!

Fabulous kayak experience in a sheltered bay. Owner and his son were extremely helpful, friendly and professional and took the time to give us instruction at the start. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly and helpful. Took our dog with us for the first time and he helped her in with no issues. Really good equipment and reasonably priced. Highly recommend, set in a lovely bay.

Visiting from Norway - hired SUP and kayaks on two different dates. Easy parking, nice bay and lots to explore. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Owner paddled out and gave us an impromptu tour. All equipment new and very good quality. Can warmly recommend this company.

Easy to book and find, you get to the bay, and the tent is right on the beach and they are there to welcome you, had a 1 hrs guided sea kayaking tour of the bay, Dan was great, friendly knowledgeable and informative would recommend

Very friendly staff and helpful if you’re nervous about swimming or kayaking for the first time. Dan took us out and stayed with us for support as well as gave us a little tour of the off beaches and coves.
Would recommend to anyone whose wanting to give kayaking a go!

We hired a kayak and a paddle board from dan and bless him he came out with us around the little bays and gave us a guided tour!! He was full of knowledge of the areas around us and was extremely helpful and patient with us. (We wernt amazing) we had such a laugh tho would 100%recommend and we'll definitely be back 😊

First time at kayaking for my husband and I. Very well looked after by Dan who took time to make sure we were happy and enjoying the experience - which we were! Took us around the bay pointing out local features, and was happy to take photos of us. Even got a glimpse of a seal.
