Just placed an order for a month supply. Paid with Apple Pay & immediately got a fraud notification from my bank. I also have zero confirmation from this company. I had high hopes due to the Trustpilot reviews but now am worried I’m out $95

I have been waiting for the opportunity to get a CGM to help me control my T2D.
I use Lingo to give me continuous information on how my blood sugar is reacting to my sleep, food and exercise. I know the warnings and do not use it to make any adjustments to my meds other than when my glucose runs dangerously low. The I make temporary adjustments and notify my physician to let him know. I have been using Lingo for just over 1 month and have already been prescribed to discontinue my prescription for Glipizide. I did find out that I had pretty severe Dawn Phenomenon which I wasn’t aware of because I didn’t take my BG reading until later in the morning. I have reduced my fasting glucose and controlled the spikes I was having with the help of the information and insights that are available through the app.
I can’t believe the insurance companies will not cover the cost of this. I believe that knowing what is actually occurring when you sleep, eat or exercise gives you the tools to deal with blood glucose whether you’re a diabetic or just trying to live a healthy life.
I have a way to go but seeing improvement after 1 month after taking medications for years I intend to keep using Lingo and see where it takes me.

I loved everything about it for the first month. After that it’s been extremely disappointing. The app functionality is spotty at best. It ultimately does not meet the need of monitoring my glucose when it doesn’t work 75% of the time. No response from customer service by email or chat, after several attempts. I purchased the 3-month pacakage. I hope it starts working again, because this is an excellent sensor and app when it works. For me it was extremely valuable to learn how my body responds to certain foods and then changing the way I eat. I am super bummed the system is a failure.

Sensor stopped gathering info. Had to turn the Bluetooth on and off. Phone in and off continuously. Wouldn't work for days at a time. One senior needed 3 days early. Only 11 days of data.

It’s a wonderful tool, cost effective, and the app has excellent insights. I have improved my health, started to feel better and enjoyed the process. The customer service, however, is completely unresponsive. They are very skilled at taking your money but if your sensor is faulty or stops working early, there is zero response even going through their official channels. In my book, that is stealing.

I would give it a zero because I had 2 contact Lingo via chat and after an hour and a half combined, no assistance. They say one thing and don’t do anything. I have it documented they would send me a replacement sensor for the defective one and I got the email to rate them but they misspelled my email when it came time to get my new sensor. No follow up. I will not purchase these products anymore

1st time trying cgm devices. Lingo has been very good. Service very tentative. Replaced and sent me one device when it was defective. No charge. Just have the device number and date info when received. Jus be careful after showering. Towel can rip device off. Advise to get backup sticker via amazon (or other site) and you will be fine.

I’ve use a competitor and Lingo. I prefer the competitors sensor. The “needle” on Lingo is twice as long and uncomfortable. Lack of response from Customer Support. Sent a message to customer support, 24+ hours and no response. If you don’t keep the app open it does not update your results. Takes over 5 minutes before results to populate for the prior 12+ hours. (I expect a little lag, competitors is less). Everything else seems the same as the competitor.

I really love this sensor and the app. They changed my eating habits within the first week of wearing the first monitor. I was fascinated by being able to see how what I ate affected my blood glucose and how it physically affected me. I was so impressed, I actually recommended it to a family member who purchased a package. I now regret doing so because of the issues I’ve had not being able to reach Customer Service. I used one sensor for two weeks and a second sensor for less than one week. I was so impressed with the data it provided and planned to purchase the three month subscription. Unfortunately, I accidentally ripped out my second monitor while getting undressed. I tried to contact customer service via telephone multiple times only to be met with the same annoying message about pairing issues repeating on a loop. I emailed customer support multiple times and still, after nearly 2 weeks, have not received any feedback. My simple question was first, why Lingo doesn’t provide a sensor patch like several other CGM providers to prevent accidental removal. Secondly, I was prepared to purchase my own patch, but notice there were different types, solid and ones with holes in the center. I needed to know which type I should buy before purchasing the three month subscription. After having such difficulty for reaching a customer service agent with such a simple question, I decided not to invest any further in this particular CGM. I would suggest anyone considering Lingo CGM do the same. Live Customer Service for such a product is essential. I’m very disappointed.

Lingo was awesome at viewing real-time how what I eat and drink impacts my glucose and tactics I can use to decrease the spikes as well. Having Lingo is an eye-opener and I will be making some changes to some of my eating choices. I also loved the challenges, the education materials I read in your App Library. Overall, well worth the investment. My only complaint was about the last 3-4 days of my device expiring I had to carry my cell phone everywhere I went to keep it near my device or my device would lose connectivity to the app for tracking. The resolution is to completely turn my cellphone off for the app to reconnect and continue to display data.

This is my second sensor. I am having the same problem I had with the first one/the signal drops out multiple times a day.
Lingo were very helpful and replaced the first faulty sensor and the Lingo score is very useful. It’s a pity that the sensor doesn’t work as intended as it means that the readings can be hours late.
