Doesn't hold for 2 weeks

The monitor does a good job of recording the blood glucose and giving me a view of how food affects my body, but the big issue is, I sweat a fair amount when I work out, and the device only stays on for 1 week. Next time I'll try a gauze wrap to see if it keeps it on for 2 weeks, but they really should give you a large sticker or some way to ensure it stays on for 2 weeks for the price they charge.

my biosensor not syncing…

I have had trouble with my biosensor syncing with my app.
I also have seen a big difference between my lingo reading of BS level and an actual finger stick reading. up to a 50 point difference!
customer support has been great. That is why I am sticking with it.

Is not accurate….

Is not accurate….. yours will say 100 but when I do the test on my finger it will be 160.

I appreciate the accountability…

I appreciate the accountability features, it notices when I have a large spike and asks for an explanation. It reminds me to take a walk after a meal spike, suggest gym visits, and has good recommendations about how to fill one's plate with different types of food.

A sixty year eating habit was changed in a month

I modified my eating routine and exercise schedule.
I have more energy.

The only negative was when my wife tried to order two more sensors and was unable to figure it out.
She tried again and it worked. She ordered her two new sensors and is back on track.

I could monitor my blood sugar…

I could monitor my blood sugar constantly. I discovered that it wasn't just what I was eating but rather what was eating me. My stress level affected my blood sugar more that I was aware.
I would have give 5 stars except for one problem. I cannot download my blood sugar data to my computer to share with my Naturopath.
I purchased the biosensors out of pocket as I am not a full blown diebetic, only pre-dietbetic. I found it useful for tracking my blood sugar but too expensive to continue monitoring it.

I liked knowing my glucose and how my…

I liked knowing my glucose and how my diet affect that. I found the food adding portion to be cumbersome. I’m used to WW app which also includes portions otherwise it’s not going to give you an accurate picture if you don’t know how much of a certain food was eaten.

Lingo has helped me lose a couple…

Lingo has helped me lose a couple pounds in just a few weeks. I always thought my sugar was low when I was hungry, but my stomach was lying to me! :-) The tutorials are very helpful to better understand how lingo works. Awesome customer service too!

Health Hacket

If you are the person that wants to stay healthy and loves data, you will love lingo. I knew that carb protein ratio is important, but to see the reaction in my body was the best lesson. You can test foods to see how your body responds. What better way to hack your intake and truly impact your health. Great job Lingo!

I don’t take insulin so did not qualify for CGM though my insurance with this amazing tool known as lingo I have been able to see real time how food breakdown what I can eat or not one would think oatmeal would be healthy not for me I’m looking forward to my next a1c thank you lingo for helping me take control

Never got past my initial order phase - ridiculous multiple customer service communication problems and a week for them to respond

Never got past my initial order phase. They accepted my subscription order, my credit card details, but the delivery day came… and went. A week later, No emails, and my account says I’m subscribed (but no tracking). But it definitely says I’m subscribed (including the next month est shipping date). After numerous phone calls and emails by ME.. I got two opposing answers: first said my account needed verifying and he would tell the shipping team to schedule my order; then a second, said I needed to update my billing address (which is correct). I explained for 38 yrs my CC address has been correct - why did the website accept it, why did it not tell me to correct it, and why hadn’t anyone reached to tell me they cancelled, or to resolve it? If we can’t get started on the right foot, I’m not going to continue to try (my making ALL the effort). I’m also going to share this experience with their partner who offered my promo code. Btw it took Lingo a week to finally come up with the address “issue”. What’s going to happen when there is a sensor problem?? I’m not going to find out.
Additional info: lingo now says my order is active, but there’s still no tracking, and I receive an email from CS that says my order was still cancelled. Further, the multiple month subscription, someone has changed (not me) the order now to a one time 4 week option. Instead of getting better, they add more and more. For the 4th time I call, and speak to a supervisor. I asked for an email confirm everything is cancelled and for instructions to delete my full account. 2 hrs later, I get the email - the first thing they’ve gotten right. CS for a company this size shouldn’t be automated this badly.
I appreciate you reaching out, but respectfully: you did not in fact resolve the original issues. I appreciated the apology and the offer of a free sensor, but it didn’t change the problems I encountered. Had I taken the sensor, and decided to take a subscription, we would be right back at square one, to your requiring same street and billing (which my credit card has different, and has for 9 yrs). If you’ll look at my reply email, I cited the lack of communication, and you did not say the website now accepts cards with different billing and residence addresses.

For those with Type2 diabetes

For those with Type2 diabetes, those finger sticks are painful and hard to interpret. Lingo chaged all that. Now you can read your bloood sugar unlimited times each day with your smart phone--no sticks! I finally have a reliable, pain-free device that helps me see how my diet directly affects my blood sugar. My device isn't covered by my Medicare-related health insurance, so it is a little bit expensive.

Happy with sensor reliability and…

Happy with sensor reliability and accuracy especially compared to Stelo. The iPhone App is pretty good, but the downside is access to your CGM data. Ling took the time and effort to integrate with Apple Health to scrape your data for their benefit, but does not write your CGM data to Apple Health. This is unacceptable. I have complained and Lingo claims they are implementing this, but there is no progress. So when you want to look at your CGM data related to changing health trends and other historical data in Apple Health, this is not possible

I am finally losing weight and getting healthy because I can see the reaction in real time in my body. By trying to reduce my sugar spikes, I am finding a new, healthier me. And losing weight is just a bonus.
