Herbal Dog Co Avis 125

Having recently adopted a Cocker Spaniel we had Herbal Dog recommended to us by a friend. We were a bit unsure about things we would need but Gemma was fantastic help. She gave us some great recommendations and all the products are brilliant. The daily grooming spray works a treat to help get out the little bits of matting and the shampoos smell amazing.

Good product, good price, even from outside the UK. Awesome smell. My doggie Barbara just needed some time to get used to the taste, but with her fish kibbles, some fish and vegetable oils (evening primrose, coconut and hemp oils as an example), sometimes some coconut cream or a hint of peanut butter, she appreciates it all and even licks her plate. Her mouth smells better and her teeth are brighter. Wow. So effective! Thank you!

My products arrived on time and immaculately packaged. The scent that the shampoo gives out is amazing. Just like a real coconut. Would definitely use again and would recommend without fail.

Our order arrived, however one item was the wrong fragrance. One quick email and a replacement was in the post promptly. Love your stuff! Everyone comments on how good our pooch smells 🙌🏻

Excellent and timely customer service. Kept me informed when website down due to stock take as I wanted to place an order.
Also the anal gland remedy has worked so well with our cocker spaniel who recently had an infected anal gland and we thought surgery might be needed. Along with the vets antibiotics and now your remedy we seem to be on top of it !
I have just ordered a calming remedy too as our 13 year cocker is quite anxious now and barks a lot so will let you know how that goes .

Absolutely FABULOUS! I cannot stress enough how much the joint tonic has helped my little baby – she broke her leg as a puppy and has since been on anti-inflammatories from the vet in pill form. I was worried about her being on medication for so long so decided to give the tonic a try – was skeptical at first but... It has helped even MORE than the vet prescribed drugs. It truly works!!!!! I am so grateful. Have bought the powder as well so will see how we get on :) Thanks again XX

The lemon sherbets dogmist spray wowwee!! It’s spot on guys. I can also now match with my fur baby with the flower bomb fragranced shampoo! ❤️ And the amazing thing about these products they are pure natural , free from chemicals and any harsh nastys. I will continue to use this company when refilling pamper products.

TREMEND0US. My anxious little lady is always so nervous and anxious especially around the holiday season and the calming tonic works absolute wonders to mellow her out! If you love your dog I highly highly recommend having a browse.

It never fails to amaze me how gentle the products are and how effective they are too. I messaged once again with tick concerns as I walk my dogs in the woods and was replied to in a timely manner with preventatives and surely enough I have had no further problems!

I rang today for advice on herbal soother for my dog that has a night time cough.
I was informed that the soother medication was not suitable but we could try warm honey and cider vinegar.
I am most grateful for free advice which is very unusual in this day and age ! When I need to buy medications etc I will definitely be back to you.

Bought the marshmallow shampoo and the calming drops for my staffy puppy. The calming drops have worked WONDERS and the shampoo smells amazing. 10/10

Great products and great customers service! I emailed over a couple of questions and suzzy was super helpful and gave me really good advise. The baby powder dry shampoo is a real life saver!

So I purchased Flea & Tick | Natural Spot On | Dog & Puppy | 1 Year Supply as my poor poochy managed to catch some fleas.I didn't like the idea of covering my dog with harsh chemicals, so I searched for a natural alternative, despite him being treated regularly with the nasty stuff - I noticed that my boy had picked up some visitors, I had a look online, saw some herbal products claiming to do the same as the nasty chemicals and thought why double him up on the harmful stuff, I'll get the natural product and start using that instead. I was torn between amazon (quick delivery and relief for my boy - next day) and Herbal Dog Co - an independent UK based company. Looking at Herbal Dog Co's website, the boldly advertised that if ordered before a certain cut off time, then the order would be dispatched the same day. So I decided to choose these guys. My order wasn't dispatched until about 4 days later and then took another 2 to be delivered, all the while my boy was experiencing discomfort. Now here's where the absolute joke starts, they clearly state on the product description on their website - "If you already have visitors & need support to clear an infestation, drop 1ml onto the back of the neck daily for 1 week". So after a week of daily applications, there is absolutely no change, in fact, if anything, the issue is worse! I contacted customer services and was told -

"Hi Alex, if you have a infestation we recommend you go to the vets. Herbal solutions are great as a preventative and will help clear if something is already being use monthly but if no preventative has been used you will need a chemical solution from the vets to ensure it works fast to stop any discomfort to your dog"

I had multiple conversations with them while the delayed dispatch issue was ongoing, they knew he already had fleas and was uncomfortable, and there was no mention of this before!

I asked them - So what would the point be in buying your product to avoid putting the harsh chemicals on my dog in the 1st place? Basically saying that your product is good all the time he doesn't have fleas?

and was told -

Herbal products work as preventative.

You're website doesn't make this clear, it actually implies that it's OK to use if there is already an infestation.

You are selling a product that is no good and then basically telling me that it should be used alongside the chemicals, you assumed that no other preventatives have been used, when they have, that's why I decided to try natural options.

I will be looking into reporting you for making untrue claims about your product. You have left a dog in massive discomfort for nearly 2 weeks! absolutely disgusted!
