Hire skip bins called to state I was over the weight limit (invoiced at 5000kg) when I queried them on the phone they tried to state it was 2.5 tonne only, to which I sent them a screenshot of the invoice they provided.

I never heard back, a week later they debited my Amex anyway an additional $630 AUD (I managed to issue chargeback thanks to Amex)

Only after the chargeback was successful have they emailed me again stating it’s overweight, still no weigh bridge docket, and no statement of actual weight collected or of the invoiced kg allowance.
These people are fraudulent do not use them.

Do not use this business! They use their Google ranking to give the illusion of being a local service provider. They are not. They don’t have trucks, drivers or skip bins, just third party book bins for over-inflated prices.

No delivery failure to let me know they couldn’t deliver also have not given refund at all. Will not answer the phone. Scam artist

Still waiting for a collection…… it’s been 11 days overdue from picking up off our driveway.
Phonecalls and emails to call centre, they apologise and say they’ve got no idea when it’ll be collected.

Steer clear! I booked a skip in advance through this company on a Wednesday for Friday drop off. They take your money on booking ($516 for a 4m3 skip). Expensive but hey I needed the skip for Friday as had that day off + weekend to clear up my yard before returning to work.

Friday comes - no skip by 2pm so I ring to check in as to when it will arrive. Get through to someone who says it's being managed by someone else and would I like to be transferred. Yes, I said. (Obviously). Wait a while and lady returns to say no one is answering but they will have them call me back within about 5 minutes. By 4pm still no call or skip so I try calling again - this time I only get voicemail so I leave a message. Then I also email following up my skip.

Wake Saturday to a Friday evening email saying sorry we haven't been able to secure a provider for your skip yet but have one more we are waiting to hear back from. Sorry for the incovenience. I wait half of Saturday before trying to call again - 3 attempts to both numbers provided, no answer.
So, I write another email requesting an update and solution - give me a different skip size or two smaller ones or refund my money and compensate me for the stuff around. Radio silence all day Saturday.

That evening, I manage to book a skip locally (via Word of mouth referral) not until a few days later which is super frustrating but at least they communciated back and forth and were up front about availability. This new company skip (same size) only costs $280 cash and they also don't ask for your money until it's delivered.

I did get an email Sunday from Hire.Skip.com.au saying my money would be refunded in a few busienss days and the skip had been cancelled. There was a cut and paste apology included but no compensation.

This is despicable servcie.
POOR COMMUNICATION, impossible to reach them in a timely manner
CHARGING FOR A SERVICE BEFORE IT'S CONFIRMED should not be legal.
APOLOGY was half hearted and compensation should have been provided - even if it was by way of a voucher.

They sent a booking confirmation shortly after logging request. At 5pm they reach out stating they couldnt confirm the booking.... They have also delayed refund by 8 days....

Ordered skip for my daughter who has 6 children and needed help with excess waste she overloaded skip rather than knock on door and ask for extra money to cover costs or send email with bill was $30 for extra excess weight per 100kg ? I think something like that instead they threw the extra rubbish on her driveway

Very easy to order online delivery was without any issue driver has a good attitude very happy to help in delivery. Pick up was one day late however it was not any issue as everything went very well happy to use these guys again

This company is good as far as organizing a bin to be supplied. But that is where the good work ends on there part.
When asking for an official tax invoice for Tax purposes, their customer service is very rude and appalling. All they state is one was sent with the email booking. There is no ABN on this invoice receipt and they refuse to resend or accept any reasoning.
As a business owner I will never recommend this company or use them again.
They are a disgrace.

I booked a bin for 7 weeks but it was collected in 2 weeks without informing me. I tried to contact hireskipbins but no one picked the phone. I wrote more than 7 emails and they responded after a month saying the supplier will contact me. No one has ever contacted me; I asked for full refund and also raised a complain with fair trading.
I will never recommend HireSkipBins.

Skip was left in the driveway in an unusable position. Fence post hit by driver and snapped at the ground! Was advised to prove it!

Great service on time in & out, driver was very courteous and friendly. Would not hesitate to use this service company again.

The whole process was easy and simple to do. Bin arrived and collected with no issues. Will definitely use this service again.

Bin was delivered and collected as ordered. No issues, except didn't receive email confirmation from supplier until bin was already delivered.

Very reliable with delivery, not so much on pick-up. Blocked our driveway for three days after it was due to be taken away. Overall though, good company to deal with.
