Hobby Warehouse Avis 

Do not trust this company they are nothing but thieves don’t expect PayPal to help you. I have stolen over $800 from me. We’re trying to purchase my first spectrum radio.

Rubbish delivery despite paying extra for 24 hour delivery (excluding) weekend delivery according to Royal Mail has been rerouted three times and is now in Derbyshire when l live in Kent. Reported problem and told it was being delivered today but if the company had cared to check their tracking they’d have seen it would not be possible given it’s about 300 miles away. Had no apology despite having spent over £180 in last weeks. . Don’t order from these guys l won’t order anything again I’ve cancelled the order and awaiting refund

I bought a birthday gift for my son but he wasn't happy with it so I kindly asked to swap for something else but was met with a hard no and no solutions. Very poor customer service. I will never use or recommend this business again.

I would never buy from this company if you want your product. I bought lego from them, never received it. Never got an email only a generic response. After two weeks and constantly trying to get hold of them on a phone number that has been disconnected and then I submitted a dispute with my financial institution I received an email to tell me it had been cancelled. So many people having the same issues.

I purchased 3 Hsp remote control cars and accessories. I was forwarded an email to verify my cc transaction. The link they sent to do this didn’t work. I tried to contact them but they DO NOT have a phone number (very suspicious).
And without my verification they deducted the money from my account immediately.
So I contacted them by email stating I’m trying to verify the cc transaction & their link did not work. I also pointed out its very unusual & suspicious not to have a contact phone number. To not send me a receipt as they had already deducted my money. Everything about this company appeared a scam and was.
They immediately emailed saying they canceled my order and tried to refund the money but it did not work and I had to contact my bank
I then contacted commonwealth bank immediately and they said there’s no attempt to make a refund and they had not tried and that I needed to contact them again
I have since sent multiple emails with absolutely no reply.
Clearly this is a dodgy website set up to scam people out of money and they 1% of comments they have that are positive are fake.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Simply NOT good enough!

I placed my order on the 15 December. The item said “In stock” and dispatch in 2-3 business days on the website.

They took my money on December 17, I paid 75$ for EXPRESS Courier International.. So when nothing happened, I wrote an e-mail the 27 December..
On 31 December I got an answer..
"Thanks for your message. Your order is with warehouse for dispatch and will be underway to you shortly. I apologize for the delay."

Today 17 January I get this e-mail..
"Updated Status: Cancelled
Time of Update: Monday 17 January 2022 1:25pm
I am very sorry to report we are unable to dispatch to your location and this order will be refunded in full. Please note the refund may take up to 5 business days to be processed (as refunds are processed by a separate offsite accounts team requiring message relay). I apologize for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding and courtesy."

Order cancelled after 32 DAYS for a product, that said IN STOCK with international delivery available..
Totally unacceptable! I'm happy that I placed an order from another company that actually works as a business should, and got what I needed after 3 days, when my patience was used after the first two weeks..

Now I only have the feeling.. When will my money be transferred back.. When IN STOCK 2-3 days to dispatch can turn into 32 days and then cancelled..

Thanks a lot, we will not "meet" again!

***DO NOT USE*** I purchased a $275 Red Bullet RC Speed Boat and within 2 charges of the battery - the battery smoked, swelled and was unusable. I placed a claim through warranty and after 6-7 various stalling questions such as please photograph where the batteries are fitted into the boat? Did you cycle the battery when not in use to maintain battery integrity etc etc etc.... In the end I said I will buy a $30 battery elsewhere as your after sales service is disgusting. Darren

Tried to call and email before ordering and no response. Placed order and under comments on the website I asked for 2 different body colours as the cars would be being used together. Go to wrap them for Xmas and find out they are both the same. Obviously ignore comments

Bought a RC (joysway huntsman v2) plane from them only to find out after a small accident that they don’t stock any parts for it. Customer service are no help at all and take nearly a week to reply so had to repair my self only to have major electrical component fail on the next flight and still no assistance Id recommend avoiding them.

I received an obviously faulty and previously returned product. Customer service was non-existent. I could not get in contact with a human on the phone to discuss the situation. I had to contact my bank and jump through hoops and waste my time in order to receive any communication from the hobby warehouse.
The issue is now resolved after having to spend time and put in a lot of effort to get a refund for a faulty product which was 100% the hobby warehouses fault.
My recommendation: shop somewhere else.

Item listed in stock, process your payment and then hear nothing from them despite numerous phone calls and emails as to follow up on status. Do not buy from them they just take your money and do not send your items.

Customer service is woeful... phone number doesn't work, if you send an email you might get a reply in 48hrs or so or you might not and then if you try to engage you wait another 2 days for a reply, or nothing.
Placed an order for in stock items a week ago as birthday presents and order hasn't progressed beyond "Processed" and when i emailed was told "some items take longer to pick and pack". That doesn't sound like 'in stock', that sounds like 'ordering from China'. Terrible company.
**Update 30/9 After only receiving half our order this week i sent an enquiry, that took 4 days to reply to as usual, to be told that the rest of our order was being processed and shipped today. No mention anywhere of items not being in stock, no sending express to make up for their problems and presumably it was only sent today because i asked about it, otherwise how long would i be waiting! Useless, dishonest company.

I have been purchasing pop protectors from here for a year and i believe the 0.5mm one's are the best I've ever seen. They have reinforced edges and are very durable. Always fast with shipping. Thanks to Bronwyn for the excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

I ordered my item over 2 weeks ago and they are unable to provide any details or estimate on when my package will arrive, even AFTER I paid $50 for expedited shipping!! Like the other reviews, I am getting a generic response saying it takes time to find the item and pack and ship. How this company still exists is beyond me, but their customer service SUCKS

Transaction was very easy, no issues at all.
