Quick and efficient survery report! Thanks

The report was extremely thorough and together with the many photographs we were able to easily understand the issues that were highlighted.

We had a survey done by Home surveying just recently on our hopefully soon 1st home and it went very well. From talking to lovely Hayley, quick response from Evie, to having a chance to speak with absolutely amazing, knowledgeable, professional but at the same time friendly surveyor Scott about a few things from the survey report. Really great experience. Price for the survey was really reasonable, too. I would definitely recommed them to any friends or family.

Was really pleased to of picked home surveying to carry out our first home survey. They was professional, made everything clear and advised us on different issues which they had flagged up.

Due to Pete shining a light on the issues with the property , we decided against the purchase. The issues which we was shown would have costs thousands in repairs and wasn’t something we would have been able to carry out. Which of course in turn saved us huge sums. The price of the survey is more than fair and absolutely worth it.

Very easy first contact through email and I was given a date for the survey within a week. Rachel Johansson was the lady that did the survey and she was very polite and professional. Rachel messaged me in the morning of the inspection to ask if I had any specific concerns about the property and what the property was to be used for.
She arrived on time and spent almost 3 hours doing the level 3 survey to which I received the 94 page report in 1 week detailing her findings.
I would certainly recommend this company and Rachel to do any other survey.

Very fast appointment. In depth 90 page report, arrived at speed only issue file size 30mb so couldn't send to husband due to size. Did ask for it split no reply. Otherwise would use again.

Chris M was assigned surveyor for our new property and we couldn’t be more pleased with his professionalism. We received a call on the morning of the survey and then a call afterwards too. In the call afterwards, he gave us a verbal report on his findings and explained the reasoning. Later on the same evening, we received the written report which contains amazing detail. Both the verbal and written reports have given us some pointers and areas to enquire about before exchange and completion. Definitely worth the money and highly recommend!

The company is lazy and the dude, Sam or whatever is name is is very rude and arrogant. I would not recommend this company to anyone, stay away from them.

Inaccurate and lazy. This company conducted a survey on our property which was inaccurate and in some cases negligent in my opinion. They missed smoke detectors, safety marks, and sections of fire wall, openly declined provided access to lofts and stop taps then reported as finding in the report. Even claimed it was not possible to check the effectiveness of guttering as it wasn’t raining despite the surveyors own photographs showing heavy rain… don’t waste your money on a report that’s not worth the paper it’s printed on.

They have failed to respond to my repeated requests for surveyor to contact me to discuss the report. This has been going on now for about 6 weeks. I give up.

Really poor service. Would never use them again or recommend their services.

Pete at Home Surveying recently carried out a Level 3 survey on our new home – a very old Grade II listed building – and we couldn’t be more pleased with the service. Before sending over the final report, Pete took the time to go through the survey with us on a call, explaining his findings in detail and answering our questions. The survey itself was extremely thorough and detailed, covering every aspect of the property with clear explanations and practical insights. Pete’s expertise has not only highlighted the key issues but also given us plenty of valuable information to feed directly into our renovation roadmap. We feel far more confident moving forward thanks to his work and would highly recommend Pete to anyone needing a professional, reliable, and knowledgeable surveyor.

Wished I would of done my research before paying this company, term and conditions sent after payment is sent, which should of been a massive red flag, the survey sent by Mark D does not correspond the true value of my house and he didn't listen to what I told him about the other estates in the area, now I will have to pay again to get a 2nd opinion, If you read this review and are considering this company, my advise would be to use a different one, preferably an independent!!!! Home surveying tried to get this review removed! It's back up!!

Selling our home this company was instructed to survey our home on behalf of our buyer , someone on behalf of this company office arranged an appointment to visit , they stated they needed access to all rooms and for loft they only needed to pop there head in from a ladder (their details not mine). Surveyor visited and said the report would be ready for 3-5 days time, Nearly four weeks later we got the reply back that the report was incomplete because he couldn’t access the loft which is different to what their office stated , So we contacted the surveyor who explained a bag was in his way blocking access inside the loft ( the bag he was referring to was actually a bag of tinsel decorations). We agreed to another visit and wanted to charge me for a revisit something that he failed to complete first time round , I contacted the surveyor and because I didn’t want to get on wrong side of anyone as house selling and buying can be difficult I stayed really polite and tried to stay as nice as possible, the surveyor was rude , arrogant and obnoxious, he told me he’d return on a certain day to re-evaluate which we waited for and he cancelled very last minute causing me to lose a days work and stated the revisit would be a further 2 weeks later, Because it took nearly a month to get the initial report bag I did explain I was worried it was gonna take even longer to get this next report back especially if he cancelled again, this surveyor was very arrogant and stated that if my house sale fell through then I’d have to find another buyer and me losing a days wage due to his last minute cancellation was not his problem and that he never asked me to take a day off, Wow !!!! This company has a bad attitude and extremely ruthless, I’ve researched this company and of the opinion they carry out work based on quantity over quality and the surveyor we dealt with needs to try and at least be civil instead of plain rude and arrogant! Terrible experience!

I had a fantastic experience with this home surveying service! Andy was incredibly quick and efficient—everything was done with zero hassle and right on time. Khalid was equally impressive—super professional and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole process feel seamless. I’ll definitely be using their services again in the future and won’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. A truly top-notch team!

We paid for Level 2 survey as first time homeowners.
We received the report promptly stating that everything was well with the property and there was no cause for concern.

Within the first week we found that there was a big hole in the roof which was visible from the loft and from outside looking from the street. The surveyor had been in the loft & even took pictures from outside which we can see in the report when zooming in that there is damage to the roof. He highlighted this as green.

Since then we have replaced the existing fire alarms at the property which again was given a pass. Both expired back in 2016 & 2018 with no batteries.

Carbon manoxide alarm was also missing and no mention of this on the report. We have since had the boiler serviced even though this was supposedly done before we moved in and the cap at the top was missing which is very dangers and could cause an explosion.

I am baffled how we paid £400 to get someone who supposedly comes and visually checks but misses everything. We have lost so much money by replacing things and I’m sure we will not get any compensation. Do not waste your money. Get a builder to do the survey for you as they check better than these incompetent people.

Great communication from home-surveying from the start, I had informative phone calls and emails beforehand and we received a reasonably priced quote. Paid for and booked in the survey and he went out to the house in a very timely manner, we then received the report the very next day. I requested a phone call from the person who completed our survey as there were a couple of things I didn't understand, he rang me and explained them very well to me. Couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you.

Very thorough report on the house we are about to purchase.
Always advisable to get a report from a professional as they brought to our attention details we missed when we viewed.
It wasn't a deal breaker in the purchase but brought to our attention things we might have to repair in the future and gave us a bit of peace of mind .
