Our dog had a wonderful experience. He was happy and relaxed while we were away - I know this because we were sent lots of updates with pictures and videos. A truly professional company, no complaints from me or my dog!

Our dog is very anxious but with the family he stayed he was comfortable and taken care of very well. they would send us daily updates about our furry baby. we could enjoy our time away because we knew our baby is looked after. thank you so much .

Our English bulldog has her holidays with home border Sue. She gets 1:1 attention, Sue sends us photos and keeps us informed. This gives us piece of mind whilst we are away. The service is expensive for us, a factor that we have to consider. The office staff are lovely and arrange your booking with a professional and friendly service.

Valerie and Frank are lovely and look after Bella very well.
I do find though that Home from Home fees now are becoming very expensive, we may not be able to afford them for our next holiday

I recently used Home from Home Doggy Care for the first time, and I couldn’t have been more fortunate than to have Angela as the carer for my dog, Maisy. From the very beginning, the experience was exceptional.

Angela was everything you could ever hope for in someone looking after your dog: incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making Maisy feel completely at ease. It honestly felt like Maisy was staying in a true “home from home.” The level of care, warmth, and reassurance she provided was second to none.

What really stood out was the attention to detail. Home from Home listened to every single requirement I had — not just the practical things, but the emotional ones too. They made sure I felt comfortable leaving Maisy, and they made sure Maisy felt comfortable being left. They matched her needs perfectly, and it was clear they take great pride in tailoring the experience to each dog and owner.

Leaving your dog in someone else’s care can be stressful, but with Angela and Home from Home, I felt completely confident. Maisy was looked after beautifully, and I could tell she felt safe, relaxed, and genuinely happy.

We used a home-from-home dog boarding service for our rescue dog and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Because of his past, finding the right care has always been difficult, but the company took time to understand his needs and matched him perfectly with his carer. He was a little unsettled on the first night, which was expected, but by the second night he was fully settled. It genuinely felt like more than just a business, our dog was cared for as if he were their own, and I only wish I’d found this service sooner.

We love using Home from Home whenever we need a special dog carer. Our little dog was lovingly cared for by Peter and Linda this January. They are so kind towards Remy and he always is happy and settled when we collect him. We feel confident about leaving our precious dog with them both, knowing he is loved and well cared for. The booking process is simple and efficient too.

Communication with the office and with Peter was great. Our little guy seemed happy and content from the photos Peter kindly shared and we were so pleased that they seemed to love having him. That and a happy dog is all you hope for!

This was Rex’s second Christmas with Linda and her partner. He was so excited to go when I told him where he was going. He always comes back so happy and healthy. They love and look after him exactly like we do. We got photos and updates so we could see how happy he was in their spotless, luxurious home. We’re all looking forward to his next holiday with them.

Our first time using Home from Home and they paired us up perfectly. Well we thought so! The process is straight forward but thorough, Martin was very quick to respond and I felt he would find the right person for our two beloved dogs. We definitely recommend them!

Home from Home really came to our rescue. We needed someone to care for our dogs while we were away over Christmas and couldn’t take them with us. All the local kennels had been fully booked for months.
We explained the situation to them and they called us back to discuss our requirements and walked us through the process. They then went through their database of dog boarders and selected someone suitable and local. We then met them at their home so we could decide whether to go ahead.
The boarders couldn’t have been nicer and our dogs took to them straight away. We had a lovely break without having to worry!
Obviously it was more expensive than the kennels but it was literally a home from home for them and well worth the money.

I thoroughly recommend Home from Home Dog Boarding as used them to find suitable accommodation for my 2 dogs over Christmas and New Year 2026.
They were very helpful always answered queries by phone and email very quickly and were very reassuring that we’d be looked after.

Home from home gave us real peace of mind while we took a trip away for new year. Although we missed our faithful friend Bunty, we felt she was in excellent care with someone we had met. Seeing the place our lovely Bunty would be helped us so much as we knew she would be comfortable. We were regularly updated and this bought us many smiles.

Organised from the agency, but their best assets are their wonderful dog carers. Elaine, in particular, is a really special person to our dog who we also have such faith in.

Home from home - great - and the Christmas discount helped - just the increasing prices will be more of a challenge

Christine was absolutely wonderful with our 11 year old Daschund, Monty. We had regular updates and I felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. I cannot recommend Christine enough! Thank you home from home for pairing us - we can now go on holiday without worrying about our fur baby.
