Lies and disappointment
I’m really disappointed and frustrated, and equally sad to have to leave this review.
Unfortunately, time and time again, the sales process and sales agents/reps have been incredibly nice, but as soon as the contract is signed, things seem to go downhill.
I signed up because they were offering a £100 cashback deal after paying the the 6th monthly fee to the insurer, which I did on 1 sept. I was assured that I would receive the cashback, but after having to chase them myself via email, I was told it would arrive within 5–10 working days.
Today marks the 10th working day, and I still haven’t received anything. I find it incredibly disappointing to be given a timeframe that they cannot keep, especially when I have to keep chasing them for money that was part of the original offer/agreement. There seems to be very little proactive communication, and now, after emailing them again, I’m not even receiving a response.
It is very frustrating and disappointing to have such a positive experience during the sales process, only for the service afterwards to fall so far short of expectations. It leaves me questioning the transparency and reliability of Howdens. I would not recommend them at all.

Jasmine Court was fantastic from start to finish. She took the time to discuss private health insurance options across a range of providers and found the perfect policy to suit my needs.
Not only did she secure a policy with a major health insurer at a significantly lower cost, but she also managed to include my son in the cover.
I would highly recommend Jasmine to anyone looking for private health insurance. She made what could have been a long and complicated process feel seamless, straightforward and stress-free. Her knowledge, professionalism and dedication were outstanding throughout.
