High flight is a rip off
Don’t do the high flight for £20 it’s a total rip off. My daughter has done it a few times in the past and they always went right up. Now you’re lucky to go half way up the chamber and it’s over in a few seconds. Worst £20 iv ever spend

Poor experience so far….
Brought 2 vouchers here with the intention to use in November for my 2 young children as we’ve booked gladiators. Went to book and the voucher is limited in terms of times non of which are suitable or disclosed at the time of booking!
Phoned and emailed to complain and told I had a few options, either they will accommodate if they can or I could have a refund. Since this email I’ve heard nothing despite chasing twice! Complete disappointment that no one is resolving especially given the sale was made under false info! Would not recommend as the lack of customer service has put a real dampener on this company!

A horrible, expensive experience
As an experienced flyer, I paid £400 for a session with a coach to work on a particular move I have been struggling with.
For some reason, an ifly instructor always needs to be present even when the accredited coach is vastly more skilled and experienced. The ‘instructor’ on duty that day - who I’d never seen before - was extremely arrogant, aggressive, unpleasant, unprofessional and heavy handed. He effectively hijacked the session and did his best to undermine my confidence rather than creatingthe safe, supportive and positive learning environment there should be.
I called the customer service line to try to complain and was promised a senior member of staff would call me back. I’m still waiting…..
I’ll repost an update on whether they to choose to acknowledge, learn and put right (as a reputable company would) or whether they simply seek to hide behind the usual platitudes and generalisations.

❌ Lack of clear instructions: No proper answers on where to stand or what to do between flights; confusion among group on how many flights they can do under what they have paid and where to stand if they don't want to add additional flight.(As everybody just has to sit back into the queue due to lack of space and sealed doors during session.
❌ Unfair upselling: High flight upgrade (£20 extra) was offered during the same time slot as the basic flight, making it feel forced and rushed.
❌ Pressure tactics: My partner was pressured into taking the high flight even though she didn’t want to; staff later denied it and still charged us.
❌ Billing issues: £20 extra charged without proper consent or discussion; concerns were not acknowledged or resolved at the billing counter.

Cowboy company - avoid
Got a voucher for my 11yr old daughter- ifly experience, certificate, photos and videos included. Actual experience was great but no certificate attached to follow up mail and link to download photos & videos did not work. Emailed customer service who acknowledged and promised to issue certificate. Received another mail with link to buy photos & videos. Emailed the support team two weeks ago. No response. Still no certificate. No photos or videos. Unacceptable.

My son aged 8 had a terrible experience…
My son aged 8 had a terrible experience and felt traumatised with anxiety for days. The noise was too much for him and he felt he could not breathe during the “flight”. The panick attack resulted in him not being able to complete the session. I paid £68.99 for three seconds of experience. Once I requested the instructor my son to leave the flying chamber, nobody checked if my son was ok and if we would like at least a partial refund. The instructor had an airplugs for himself but we were not offered these and not even advised of the noise. There is no information about the conditions of the flight prior to purchasing a ticket. Disgraceful, especialy no consideration to autistic children who are sensitive to loud noise and prone to panick attacks. Avoid. Save your money.

Dominic was brilliant
Dominic was brilliant, there were a lot of us and we had so much fun. The instructors are brilliant, they make you feel safe, explain everything and it was honestly the most fun. When you book it doesn’t feel like the time of 2 flights is enough but really does feel like a long time once you are in. Definitely worth the upgrade to go high despite the cost, elevated the experience hugely. Some of us paid to go back again it was a great experience. The bigger your group the better as you get to encourage each other. Couples will just end up watching a lot of strangers go up in a wind tunnel which is less fun for sure

Went to the O2 Ifly and left…
Went to the O2 Ifly and left underwhelmed. Watched the video of the high fly and decided to pay the extra £20 each. The video shows people going to the top, we barely went halfway. I complained to the instructor and he said they haven’t done that in a few years. False advertising. Don’t waste your time and money

George was wonderful. I had an amazing time flying in the sky diving tube especially the fly high part. Wish it was cheaper so I could come more often! 😀

I wouldn't recommend it
I wouldn't recommend it. You pay £43 for 2 minutes in the tube after that you'll be sat watching other people take turns and it's not worth the cost. The price of this experience should be £15 including the go higher as it only lasts 20 secs. Save your money don't take the kids go elsewhere like go karting where you get minutes for your money, bowling, arcade, theme park any other place but here. Dam rip off!. £43 for 2 minutes and then £20 for the full experience to fly above the trainers hip. You've Been warned

Very poor and substandard, please read before booking
Having booked IFly for a present for my Grandchildren, we turned up at Manchester, the staff where very good as instructors and like most have said, upselling the High Fly experience, which is a total RIP OFF!! Going up and down the flight twice for £20, not even lasting 10 seconds. Then at the next flight the staff continually asking if they wanted high fly again!! it became a bit of a joke.
Then we get to the media package which once again is a complete RIP OFF!!! We were supposed to get a photograph and video from each flight. The Video's consisted of our youngest Grandson stepping into the chamber for 3 seconds then back to IFly advertising themselves. Photographs are very poor standard and you cannot make out who is flying, it could be anyone, I don't think a photograph of someone's feet is acceptable. What could have been a very good experience was turned sour by upselling staff and poor quality media, which is advertised so differently.
I would not recommend IFly to anyone!!!

Good, not great.
I'm glad I tried this, because I've always wanted to. The suits we were given were very clean, and even smelled good, overall hygiene was great too. The instructor was super friendly, and helpful. The experience itself was not worth what I paid. We got just a few minutes of flying time. I paid extra for the high flying experience too, was taken up twice - lasted just a few min. I don't think I'd do this again, but I'm glad I tried it.

We've been going monthly for over a…
We've been going monthly for over a year now and my son has enrolled in the Flight Club. We have seen lots of happy faces with only 1 person who complained about the price given the time they received over this time. I must stress on behalf of iFly that this is not an amusement ride but an experience into skydiving as it is the nearest thing you will get to it. If you are only going the once or as a gift this is worth every penny as you'll get to experience the thrill of the wind against your body at the same speed as though you were actually skydiving. You can tick this off your bucket list in a safe environment. The cost of running those massive turbines is not cheap and that is on top of the business lease, bills and staff.
My son is now learning his level 2 training (on his back) with Flight Club and is receiving structured skydiving training as his ambition is to follow his dad and skydive when he's older. Flight Club offers 10 subsidised flights, a free 4 flight bring-a-friend voucher every 3 months, use of a full face helmet and Flight Club evenings, well worth it as it is the cost of a regular 10 flight for a return user. So, if you plan on going regularly after your 1st experience, definitely consider the Flight Club 😉

Disappointed
Be prepared for upselling and sales pitches from start to finish. We paid £100 for two tickets for young children as a birthday gift however, if you want more than a few seconds of floating, you need to pay an extra £20 PER FLIGHT for a high flyer add-on. This lands you with a bill at the end that almost doubles the cost of the ticket. This is sprung on you during the safety briefing, not at all very clearly, and all part of a carefully planned out method of upselling in front of children. The instructor unwittingly let slip that they work on some kind of incentive scheme. The whole thing left a bitter aftertaste on what should have been an enjoyable day.

I really cannot recommend this at all
I really cannot recommend this at all, the flights are approx. 1 minute long, The instructors never let go of you, so your never really flying , I get people need training, but this is just a money maker, this is proven, by the" Fly High " experience add on its £20 to fly high for a few seconds, I'd say its costing you £2.00 a second. Felt like cattle being herded the whole time, lots of sitting around.

This is a hard review to write
This is a hard review to write. The kids loved the experience however as parents we paid for the 2 flight experience (1 minute each flight) when we arrived we were advised if they wanted to "high fly" up the tunnel which lasts 20 seconds then it's a £20 charge for the 20 seconds and at the end of the flights if there's time they can do a 3rd flight for another £20. As parents/non flyers you sit outside the tunnel to watch along with all the other spectators. Once your child is in the chamber the instructor asks you with hand gestures in front of everyone if they can fly up to the top (because you have to pay). So 2 children + 2 flights to the top each was an extra £80 ontop of the paid experience 😱 some younger children who didnt understand also had the 3rd flight and some parents were charged £120 😳at the end. Unfortunately because of this we would not return. The high fly in our opinion should be part of the experience as you get under a minute in the tunnel at any time.

Terrible
Terrible.
My wife arrived with our two young children for a skydiving session at IFly Basingstoke.
She explained that, yes, she was 20 minutes late but there had been an accident on the motorway but the man behind the front desk just didn't care.
What made us really angrynis that the man behind the front desk laughed at her when she explained why she was late. This is really unprofessional behaviour.
Eventually she was given a session thanks to the helpfulness of another member of staff (thank you to the polish lady for helping us) but nobody else there gave a damn.
Avoid this company at all costs.
