I’ve now sent 2 emails and a live chat without any response, subject being a voucher which has just expired, All I ask is, could the voucher be extended.. dreadful customer support!!
Scam
Scam: from adding items automatically at checkout to actually just ‘flying’ for a minute to wanting extra to ‘actually’ fly up, to scamming children out of the very little time they should actually get! it’s an absolute money-grabbing daylight con! We drove hours to get there and paid extortionate parking to be greeted with poor organisation and coms, which ultimately didn’t even allow us to enjoy the 5 minutes of flying our 4 children got (in total!!!) as had to frantically run up and down to clarify their mess up. Avoid!!!
Was a really good day
Was a really good day.
Bought my 2 sons the experience for Christmas using a black Friday deal and we went to Milton Keynes.
Slightly disappointed that other sessions ran late so we were not allowed to add on an extra flight with vr but on hindsight maybe I could of booked that before the day so I'll still award 5 stars.
As the experience was only 2 flights maybe I wouldn't pay full price for it.
But as an extra christmas treat my lads really enjoyed it.
Harry was fantastic with everyone and a good day was had by all.

Make sure your exactly 45 mins early otherwise you are refused entry and not offered any form of refund was offered to come back in 5.5 hours time but as we don't live in London we cant wait around for that long . This was a Christmas present which has now be ruined .
Ugly hidden charges and inconvenient to remove
Pay careful attention when you book, as many of the optional extras are automatically added to your checkout unless you explicitly remove them. You also can't remove them from the checkout page, you have to go back, and then they'll erase all of your progress filling out your personal details so you'll have to do it all over again :)). Also a £3 hidden charge at the end.
Dreadful service
Dreadful service. We booked for a group, but upon taking part in the waiver, we found out that one of the group is unable to take part as they exceed the weight limit. We called customer service, but were told that they are unable to offer a refund, even though it is their policy that has excluded one of our group. I expect much better than this kind of opportunistic money-grabbing. Disgraceful.
What a scam!
What a scam!
You might as well take your money to 10000feet and throw it out the window.
From the minute you login to the site, they are trying to upsell you with everything. Adding things into your cart, without your knowledge. The experience last for 45seconds and is quite disappointing.
Really a waste of money.
Owners should be hung!
Great experience!
I visited the Manchester site on Monday and had a brilliant experience. Our group was made up of young children and adults and Connal, our Instructor, was calm, engaging, and encouraging to us all. Glad I chose to do the "high fly" as the feeling of flying up and down was amazing. You need to wait your turn while everyone else has a go, but it lets you see what to do/what not to do. And if you repeat visit within 6 months I think you can get it for nearly half price. Pity I'm in Glasgow.
ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE
I had the most perfect experience. My partner booked this for my birthday the person we spoke to on the phone did her best and got us the discounted valentine's deal.. our host was ARRON at the Milton Keynes venue... And he was absolutely brilliant! He had a great personality, he was extremely professional and personally I felt that he was also very professional the way he handled 'women' during the experience... overall I will highly recommend ifly for the experience and the way I was treated... I truly felt special on my birthday and I owe that all done to my host ARRON...
Avoid
Extremely rude and sarcastic receptionist no people skills at all spoiled the whole experience, as the instructor was very professional and polite although they spend the whole time trying to sell you extras (o2 London)

I paid £168 for both my children’s birthday experience including the extra height flying at £10 each. The website states that you’ll be onsite for 90 minutes, it doesn’t state that you’ll be flying for 6 minutes each including the extra £10 to flying higher. They sat longer watching people experience the VR package than actual flying. Complete scan, the instructors were lovely but that was it! Save your money!
I had expected to fly but not into a door frame!
My daughter bought me a voucher for my birthday and I was quite excited about going.
I booked my flight on line, watched the training video and completed the on-line waiver (which you don’t receive a copy of by the way).
My daughter had paid for three flights but I only completed one. The reason for this was because upon exiting the wind tunnel I fell. I’m not quite sure how this occurred but I struck my arm against a metal door frame opposite the exit and broke the humerus of my left arm. The door frame had obviously been identified as a hazard because it had been covered in black & yellow tape but no foam padding.
After the accident, I had to sit in agony whilst an accident report was completed. At no point was I offered an ambulance but my son-in-law was with me and drove me to the local hospital.
Some time after the accident I was advised to put in a personal injury claim against iFly. This failed because iFly issued a denial of liability hiding behind the waiver which seems to protect them against all and any claims.
I did sign a waiver as they won't let you do the activity without it and to be fair, if I had injured myself during the actual flight (dislocated shoulder for example) I would not have made a claim but, I still had the right to be kept safe whilst on their premises and wouldn’t have reasonably expected to be injured getting out of the wind tunnel.
I would also point out that; although I watched the videos on line, I went for the flight a few weeks after and they didn’t give any refresher training on the day and at no time were we warned that there was a trip hazard upon exiting the wind tunnel.
Over a year on I still have pain in that arm and have not regained the full range of movement.
I had expected to fly but not into a door frame!
Vouchers
Bought a voucher as a Christmas present for my partner at the end of November but actually received a voucher myself for my birthday just before Christmas. Contacted customer service about refunding the one I purchased as it was obviously no longer needed and was told that the refund would be back in my account in 7 working days. Then a few days later I receive another email from Serena stating that they had made a mistake and won’t be refunding as I was actually outside of the refund period. This period is 14 days which is extremely short considering it is the Christmas period. I have emailed again twice to try and take this further as I don’t need two vouchers for the same thing and have received no response from customer service for over a week

You ruined my children’s Christmas
I brought tickets as Christmas gifts for Boxing Day. My daughter woke up poorly so I needed to reschedule. I called multiple times for no one to answer, I left voice messages on the answer machine for no one to respond, I sent emails and messages on Facebook also for no one to respond. So obviously we did not reschedule due to their incompetency to answer calls or respond so my children have lost their Christmas experience and I’ve lost my money of £135.00.

AVOID!! Save the money and hassle and go somewhere else!
Take note of the reviews on this sight, more 1* reviews than anything else combined!
We took my son as a Christmas present. Aside from the fact that you only get 2 x 90 second flights (rip off) by the time we added on the photos etc it came to £73. My 7 year old son stepped in and immediately didn’t like it (couldn’t breathe, and was not offered a helmet with face covering). Apparently because he “stepped in” we were not eligible for anything back (got no photos, no videos, didn’t do the high bit which is another £10 charge, again a rip off). Anyway really unhelpful staff, and overall a MASSIVE waste of money travelling from wherever you are for a maximum of 3 minutes, and I prey if you do go then nothing goes wrong because staff couldn't be any more unhelpful. This business is rotten from
The core and it really shows.

Fab first time experience!
This was my first time to experience indoor skydiving and loved it! My instructor George was great. He was very clear during the briefing and made everyone feel at ease. Looking forward to bringing my 5 year old next time.

Thank you Jack@iFly Basingstoke
Thank you Jack@iFly Basingstoke. I had the experience given as a birthday gift. I was a little nervous 'pre-flight' but we were clearly in great hands with Jack! I had aVR flight as part of the experience which was fun. I also opted in for one high flight for an extra £10 & just giggled like a nutter all the way up & down. Loved it so much we've bought a voucher for our son's Xmas pressie!

Terrible company and a total scam
I purchased Family Indoor Skydiving last year. I called directly iFly to book tickets but I was advised that there is something wrong with my voucher so, I had to contact Buy a Gift regarding my voucher. Family Indoor Skydiving voucher is valid until 7th November 2023. When I contacted Buy a Gift I was advised that iFly no longer accept my voucher. I was unable to book prepaid experience due to iFly greediness. I was told if I still want to book this experience I am expected to pay difference in price as my voucher no longer cover the full costs what I have already done when I initially booked this experience. I asked for a full refund but the customer service at Buy a Gift declined it. The whole family was looking forward to it but the provider iFly only cares about ripping people off. I would NOT recommend buying a voucher for this experience nor booking it with iFLy. The voucher should be honoured for this activity especially as it is still in date.

Badly organised. Awful experience.
My 15 year old son was booked in for 2 flights at Milton Keynes. We arrived in plenty of time and were told to return half an hour before the flight for the briefing etc. which we did. This took 10 minutes including putting on the overalls, safety equipment etc. The instructor then sent us all to where the flights were taking place where we then sat for half an hour as that session ran over by 15 minutes. In the meantime my son was complaining how tight the helmet was. I offered to loosen it but he said the instructor had put it on him and that he had said it needed to be tight so it didn't come off.
His session then started, however, there was a dad and a son who had booked 10 minute sessions each so they started with 2 minutes each, then one of the other participants had a 1 minute session, then it went back to the dad and son, who had another 2 minutes each and so on, so my son was waiting 14 minutes (in addition to the half hour before the session started due to the last one finishing late) before he got to try his first flight. He went in for the flight, the instructor went to do the additional bit with him where they fly up to the top and then suddenly he just pulled him out and finished the flight. We couldn't see that he had done anything wrong and my son looked completely shocked to be pulled out like that (bearing in mind, the boy doing the flights with his dad had been all over the place and yet the instructor still took him up to the top). He then asked the instructor to let him out and left the chamber. He told us he was in so much pain from how tight the helmet was and had been in agony waiting for his go. The only time he felt ok was in the chamber flying and he said he thought he was following the instructors instructions and couldn't understand why he'd been pulled out. When we took the hat and googles of him, there was a severe indentation around the back of his head where it had been, which was still there when we got home that evening (6 hours after the flight).
This experience has totally put him off sky-diving or trying anything similar again. The instructor only did a 10 minute briefing with them all and then they had to sit in a room and wait for half an hour. If they had spare time, why didn't he check their equipment was on properly? My son asked him whether a different item was on properly and I saw the instructor say it was fine and he wasn't even looking at him. Was he just in a rush to eat his lunch? And to make everyone wait whilst the dad and son kept having their 4 minute slots was ridiculous. They should have had their own time slot. There were two younger boys in there waiting, one of which was in tears so it wasn't just my son who didn't enjoy the experience. I am so disappointed and wouldn't recommend this at all. You do not end up peacefully floating around like it shows you on the video. Most of the people we saw (the group before was huge) were bouncing off the sides or flipping over.
Absolute rubbish. Don't waste your money.

Haven't gone yet and I am already very annoyed. :(
To keep it short I am super annoyed at this company's principles. It's an expensive activity but as always they ask for a booking fee. I am used to that but still feel it's pretty cheeky. But whatever.
What actually made me mad is that AFTER you have paid they make you sign a waiver basically saying you are happy for them to use any images and "likeness" of you in any way they want. Without that you can't go to the activity. It's such a scammy policy.
Here is the paragraph for those who want to read what you agree to before paying:
"iFLY UK routinely takes photographs & videos, as well as CCTV, in the legitimate interests of both iFLY UK and customers. As such, customers may be identifiable in these images and videos. I understand that iFLY UK will release such images depicting me (including without limitation, use of my face, likeness and voice) for the purpose of purchasing photographs and videos on the iFLY UK website and on media kiosks located within the iFLY building.
iFLY UK shall at all times exclusively own all rights and title in any such photographs and videos. I understand that iFLY will seek prior consent should any images or videos depicting me (or the Participant, if different) be used for marketing and promotional purposes by iFLY UK. I further understand that if I do not wish for iFLY to release images or videos depicting me to the iFLY UK website and media kiosks, I can request this with the iFLY reception team either before or shortly after my experience."
Reply to your reply: Yep you’re saying it’s for marketing purposes and that’s exactly what annoyed me, and I think it’s unethical to mention this after ticket is purchased and we’re unable to cancel.
