IIN is an expensive way to learn a little bit about nutrition theories and perhaps learning how to take better care of yourself. It is not a solid foundation for being a health coach or counseling people. Why would it be ? You watch hours of lectures ( interesting but not like getting a proper degree) and take little quizzes in which the answers are obvious. Don’t waste your money. Their program, in most cases will not in most cases lead to gainful employment.

I got into INN because I read great reviews about it.
Personally, is overpriced for what it is. You learn a lot but is “a little bit of everything “ nothing really deep and you end it up not knowing much. Trying to find a job out of this is very hard even if you try your own business.

I was going to give IIN a 4.5 star
I was going to give IIN a 4.5 star, but didn't have that option, so I chose a 5 because overall, this school was full of useful, timeless information on nutrition AND lifestyle changes. The business classes were fabulous! The abundance of information left nothing missing. Only thing is that I would have liked to still be a part and access information longer than 6 months after the course. I'm considering taking the class again one day. The information given was information that never goes outdated as I've heard some say. Still waiting for the rest of the world to catch up to such valuable and life changing information. It's a top notch school.

I'm a graduate of this program so I don't say this lightly but there are way better schools and certifications for health coaching than this. After you complete your certification you will be left with lil to no understanding of how to actually health coach.
True it is a process learning how to properly coach but they don't give you the knowledge necessary to correctly guide people.
They won't teach you how to read labels and what to look for in the products you're recommending, they will mention gut health but make you pay extra money for another course to learn the actual knowledge, weight loss will not be on the curriculum either, they will mention hormones and emotion eating but that's another course as well.
There are courses no that will guide you on how to catch and ask questions bit also discover your niche.
Steer clear of this! It's 5000$ and there are superior courses out there
It’s a scam
It’s a scam. They aren’t upfront about the cost, will try to enroll you in additional courses (at an additional cost) when you can’t magically start your coaching practice according to their “easy” guidance. Coaches get money for selling new coaches on the program- very much like a pyramid scheme.
If you're considering joining IIN, Read This!
If you're considering joining IIN, here are a few things you need to know:
1. It's incredibly difficult to build a business as a health coach. Most of the people I have spoken to have never been able to make it as a health coach but have made their money in other ways, this includes celebrity graduates of IIN.
2. IF you choose to join, save the cash and pay it off in full before you begin, in cash. DO NOT get on a payment plan, DO NOT put it on a credit card, and don't join if you do not have the cash. It's simply not worth it.
3. You won't graduate and suddenly have a full schedule of clients. You just won't. It takes time. You will need to coach for free to build your business. For 6 months to 1 year.
4. Many of the lectures are outdated (dating back to maybe 2012?). It's like a litany of TED talks. Some of the teachers have passed away. Years ago.
5. You will receive very little one x one coaching. It adds up to minutes. This is the biggest drawback to the course, the lack of actual coaching you receive.
6. The information is valuable but it's likely you know most of this information already. There are so many overviews and not much depth. But there is a LOT of information.
7. If you choose to take the course, take the 1-year course. 6 months is not enough to develop yourself, and you have zero time to integrate the information.
8. Only a live zoom call here and there, not much face-to-face interaction.
9. The main IIN course is not a board certification course. You will need to purchase a separate course(s) if you would like to become board certified. It will cost you thousands.
10. You will spend probably 3x the cost of the original course - on more training and courses, on marketing and business coaching, and on unexpected expenses. I recommend budgeting $20,000 to become a successful coach. All of the "goodies" cost extra. Want to learn more about gut health? Pay more money. Want to learn more about such and such diet or what have you, pay more money. It's exhausting. I had to ask them to stop sending me emails asking me to join yet another paid add-on.
11. When I googled many of the teachers, I found that they were not even health coaches anymore. Some of the newly minted health coaches who teamed up with physicians are no longer doing that. These videos are so old that it's very difficult to see how health coaching will work out for someone in 2022 and beyond. Everyone says health coaches are needed. There just isn't the kind of demand you are lead to believe.
And beware of good reviews, because IIN has a referral system that pays a student each time someone new signs up as a referral, therefore people who are trying to recoup their money and make some money from becoming an IIN coach are likely not telling the whole truth about their experience. Make sure you speak to someone in person who has gone through the program.
I graduated from IIN in March of 2021
I graduated from IIN in March of 2021. The knowledge I received from the school was so much more than I expected.
I have started a health coaching business and I am now able to coach others and share with them the education and tools that I learned.
IIN has definitely changed my life for the better and my clients are happy with their results. Coaching clients on a holistic level has made the difference. It’s been a great journey! I wouldn’t change a thing.
Thank you IIN for all you do!
Essentially On Your Own
I completed an IIN certificate in 2018. What I will say is that it did expand my knowledge on a variety of topics. Nutrition is only one component of the curriculum, and I believe it makes sense in terms of health coaching in general. Health is not just about the food you eat (although it plays a huge part). The program is good, however, I don't believe it's worth over $5,000. I think it should cost maybe $2,000 for the value of what they are offering. They do chase you aggressively to sign up once you are in their reach. And once you have signed up they kind of stop caring about you. I believe the school was once worth something when they had a physical location in NYC and the founder was a teacher. But I do believe that now it is a shell of what it once was. It's a cold corporate machine. It relies solely on PDF and videos and the occasional group call. It's all on your shoulders with little support. And for that reason the price tag is absolutely excessive.
Not about nutrition
Not about nutrition. I did the whole thing with the expectation I could give meal plans to my clients and now I'm down 6,000 dollars and now I can't launch the business I started because of this terrible "school". All it is is videos and pdf's. I found my coaching circle coach semi- passive agressive, and there is no such thing as a "student support team" thats all BS. its a robot. and then if you do want a person, you have to contact a rep to get the number to call. Bad "school"
I WAS happy with the course but…
I WAS happy with the course but massively disappointed to find out that you do not get to keep access to the course lectures post graduation (only for 6 months).
I have paid over $6,000 for a year-long course, and only get to keep a handful of PDF documents which I find absolutely appalling value for money.
Before signing up for this course, I would look for alternatives where you get to KEEP access to the course materials that you spend your well-earned money on.
I wish I would’ve looked further into…
I wish I would’ve looked further into this school before signing up. I went into this thinking a school called Integrative Nutrition, would actually teach mostly about nutrition. It does not. I also signed up naively thinking I was getting some sort of deal on tuition. Turns out, there’s always a “deal”. A gave this course a month, there was VERY little nutrition info and what they did talk about was kind of common sense at this point, such as “eat the rainbow”.. in case you forgot that chapter from 3rd grade. I called and talked to someone named Megan and when I told her I thought there would be more information about nutrition since the word is literally in the name she giggled and said “it’s only like 20% about nutrition”. I then talked to someone named Tessa about a refund and apparently they think their useless information is worth $784 because that’s what they’re keeping from my total. That’s if I get the refund or if they’re going to make this difficult like they have for others on here. This school is a scam.
thanks a alot good application...

IIN was able to teach in 12 months what took me over 7 years to attempt to learn on my own while struggling with autoimmune disease. Now I'm able to help others make similar changes with lasting results because of the skills I've developed in a comprehensive and marketable way. Incredibly grateful for the experience and I look forward to continuing with the other courses they offer. I have to mention the professional support I received despite challenges during the pandemic in both my personal life and in the education system as a whole. The education was spot on for my intended purpose, and affordable for my family despite having only one income and a new baby at home!

Very bad experience with financial and admission team.
I needed to resign because of work, and on agreement says that they need to return me money.
They agree to return me money in 15 days but they did not return it as they wrote, now they are not responding to e-mail.
NEVER join to unprofessional programs for your professional career, wasting life
One of IIN students introduced me to IIN programs and finally I found she just wanted to get the referral bonus. However, I have been really interested in nutrition so I paid the tuition fee but the worse part was that a lot of students from IIN just joined into some unreliable groups and making money by selling the unreliable supplements so I quit from IIN shortly after enrolling but didn't get the tuition refund. And then I was accepted by a master degree program of Columbia University Medical Center.
So, friends, be professional to get professional career routine, NEVER to join the unreliable and irresponsible institutes or groups like IIN, wasting your money, energy and life. These days, there are much more reliable nutrition education programs with certifications from top universities and organizations.

1. Money making...
I was very excited when I made the decision in Dec 21 to become a Health Coach and join the IIN 12 month program starting Jan 22. The Team told me during our phone conversation end of December 21 that they are on the forefront of healthcare and provide the latest information and coaching techniques etc...
I was very irritated when I saw the first videos and reviewed the provided material with a date as old as 2012.
Even greater was my surprise when I learned that IIN launched a completely new version of the Health Coaching Program in May 2022 only 4 month after I signed up for the OLD version.
No response or offer from IIN at all...
After the new program already started they send me a standardized message saying that I could change to the new program, which would void my already invested 5 month time and money and I have to pay a fee for changing the course of USD 300 and the first batch is already fully booked so maybe in July 22 I could get a slot.
They clearly have been aware in Dec 21 that there is a new course on the horizon but it was more important for them to sell the OLD stuff and make money than even having the decency to inform me that there will be a new program in just a few weeks time and give me the option to decide!!

Don’t waste your money
I finished my health Coach course more than 5 months ago and so far they haven't sent me my certificate.
It's very frustrating every time I called them to find out what's going on, they saying it’s because of the delivery or the Parchment company I already confirmed my address about 6 times I've asked to speak to the manager, but never returned my calls I only able to talked to students team they didn’t do anything to solve the problem.
This program costs over $5000 for basic health info and now they given me hard time to send my certificate it’s completely misleading.
I regret not have went to other school and saved my money and time.
