I have invested with Investec for many years and on this occasion they have lived up to their good name once more. They have been efficient and helpful in setting up an ISA transfer for me and are keeping me well informed. Thank you all.

Money went in, interest is paid as asked. I have no other interactions with the them. So nothing else to comment on.

A new name for me but they seem pretty good
Investec are a company who only came onto my radar recently, they were offering excellent interest rates on an ISA & the whole process of me opening an account was very easy.
What more can you ask for?

At the time of opening my ISA in…
At the time of opening my ISA in January Investec had the best rate, so I went with them. Come this October I have another ISA maturing and will be looking for a home for it! Currently Investec haven't got the best ISA rate, so unless their rates pick up I shall be going elsewhere.

I have opened various types of term deposit, notice accounts at different points in time offering competitive rates found from price comparison websites, latest being a Cash ISA account.. Positive experience in the sense offered best interest rate at the relevant point in time.

Interest paid outside the ISS
It was not made clear that the interest payment would be paid into a current account instead of staying in the ISA. This is most unusual and not anything I’ve ever seen before. I am very very annoyed by this and will
not be using investec in the future.

Easy to open ISA
Investec made opening a fixed rate isa very straightforward. All so easy. I knew they were good as I had previously had a savings account with them and was glad to use them again.
