Finley, Lucas and Will in the bookings team answered all my questions and promptly booked in and kept me up to date with my Level 3 survey request. Neil the surveyor was lovely and patient on the phone when he contacted me after the survey highlighting a few areas of concern of which saved me £10k in roof and chimney repairs. We decided to have a Level 3 Survey as we were buying a 95 year old house. The survey was very comprehensive @ 83 pages long and gave us a very detailed report into the condition of the house including what work needed immediate attention and work which needed attention short to mid term with estimated costs for all the works. The report contained numerous photographs highlighting the issues with the property. The survey enabled us to negotiate a further £10,000 off the price of the property which paid for the survey costs many times over. I would recommend IQS for their professional service and comprehensive survey report.

Searching for the right company to do a survey as a first time buyer felt like navigating a mase, filled with varying prices for more or less the same thing. So many companies gave a lack of clarity on what was covered and what to expect, however, that was not the case with IQS and that's why we went for them. We went for a level 3 survey with a drone survey attached and not only was it super affordable, but well worth the money due to the level of detail which has allowed us to plan our next steps clearly, prioritise our spending and allow us to carefully consider our next steps in the purchasing of the property.

Neil who did our survey for the property we are purchasing in Brighton was amazing. He prioritised our queries of concern, calling us straight after the survey to discuss them over the phone before we even received the report. Then after delivering a detailed survey, he offered his time after hours, to suit my working hours, to go through the report over the phone with me, explaining in greater detail what he witnessed, what he recommends we prioritise and how we can think about next steps.

Overall we would 100% recommend IQS, particularly Neil if you are looking in the Sussex area, and have already done so with some friends who took our word straight away and booked IQS for theirs. Whilst booking through a nationally wide company did make us worry we weren't going to get that personal touch, that worry was put to bed straight away. Affordable, Efficient and Incredibly Friendly and Informative Throughout!

We used IQS twice and had Zak as our surveyor. They were fantastic and booked the survey in very quickly. Report was extremely detailed and Zak went through it with me on the phone both times. Can’t recommend enough!

I had a L3 survey with a drone survey done with IQS and they helped me save over £30,000. I conducted IQS to complete the survey on the house I am buying, they were professional over the phone and booked it in quickly. One thing I found especially beneficial is that they arrange access themselves, liaising with the agents/ vendors. I received my report a few days later and it identified major issues with the roof and chimney, this then allowed me to renegotiate a price and brought it down £30,000. I would definitely use them again.

Asked IQS to do a L2 survey on a property; which was very thorough.

I booked a level 2 survey with IQS via "Homemove" and they were very quick in both arranging the survey and completing the report. I would not hesitate in using them again

The surveyor arrived at the stated date and time. He worked efficiently accessing all the parts of the property he needed to access. He was polite and informative. We had the survey report and valuation the next day. The level of service from IQS start to finish was excellent.

Everything went smoothly. I went for a level 3 survey report and a valuation. The survey was carried out promptly and the report was with me the next day.
I was very happy with the professionalism of the report and it identified a number of important issues that I had not realised were there. It enabled me to renegotiate the purchase price so that the vendors made a contribution towrads the cost of putting things right.

Can't give full stars as even though they did the lv3 inspection which according to their website includes thermal vision checks to see if any heat is escaping the house - they did none of that. After being asked over a week ago I was ignored upon every chase. So wouldn't deal with them again. They claimed that if I have any questions I would be free to ask and when I asked about the thermal vision - there was dead silence. Also no borescope investigation either. Can't recommend.

Even after the reviews have been posted online they have ignored it too and it's been 2 -3 weeks since I asked them about it. Lowering to 1 star. Draw your own conclusions here.

The Survey, which was at a discounted price, was carried out promptly and the Surveyors Report issued the following day. The Report was comprehensive and easy to understand. I recommend this Company to home-buyers.

I highly recommend IQS. I instructed them to carry out a Level 3 Home Survey, which was completed on time and to an exceptionally high standard.

The report clearly identified serious hidden issues, including rising damp, dry rot, structural concerns, roof deterioration, and fire safety defects — problems not visible during viewings. It also provided realistic repair cost guidance, showing works could exceed £55,000.

A special thank you to Ben Dickinson, whose professionalism and attention to detail genuinely saved me from making a very expensive mistake. Based on the findings, I decided not to proceed with the purchase.
