No stock but customer service was good
Ordered intumescent strips but was told after ordering that they were on a delay of 6/8 weeks. However I was refunded quickly hence the three stars.

Apologies for not having your particular item in stock. We work with some 30+ suppliers. Some provide live interfaces to their available stock, but some do not. This makes it impossible for us to provide a consistent "live" view on stock on our website, so we rely on regular batch updates.
We check every order as soon as we receive it to check the stock, and to look for alternative suppliers if it is unavailable.
If we cannot source the item from our own stock or any of our supplier contacts we make the customer aware of the situation, and offer a full refund. This is what happened with your particular order.
Apologies again for your inconvenience, and we hope that you might give us the opportunity to deliver a better buying experience should you require more ironmongery in the future.

Very quick delivery
Very quick delivery - bought a few differing designs & once decided upon type, order the amount needed for 3 bootroom cupboards, which we'd re-painted & wanted to change the existing handles on. The ones we chose & recieved are very good quality, nice weight & fit perfectly.

Quality Product
After a long search I bought vintage style interior door handles and they’re super quality. Very weighty and look classy. They’re not the cheapest but you get what you pay for as they say. Everything arrived swiftly and beautifully packed

I initially wrote a negative review, mistaking this company for Ironmongery Direct, as I had ordered from both. Ironmongery Plus telephoned to help sort the problem. So many companies write platitudes about helping underneath negative reviews but never do anything, It was a refreshing change to find a company who was genuinely willing to help.
