I'm not what James Morrow's would call a big spender - but they treat me like I am. From the process of buying and installing my audio set-up through a recent need to deal with a faulty product, staff right across the board have shown care and wide knowledge, and been totally engaged both with me and the products they sell. This is quality service that makes you feel supported in the decision-making, and leaves you confident you've made good choices. I couldn't recommend James Morrow's highly enough.

It’s Good To Chat..

I was initially just price comparing music streamers online and came across James Morrow and noticed that they were advertising a particular streamer quite a bit cheaper than any other dealer, so I used the chat feature and I ‘met’ Nick.
It soon became clear that the price was an error and not the price advertised. Despite that, I kept chatting with Nick about my system, my streamer needs and my budget. Before I knew it, I was looking at a streamer that Nick thought suited all of my needs. I bought an earlier model of the streamer I was intending to buy as a result of Nick’s knowledge and advice and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like I have met a friend in Nick as a result of some chats, as he answered all of my questions over a few days. All in all I am delighted at my interaction with James Morrow and Nick in particular. He is knowledgeable, patient and he done everything to make sure I was happy with my purchase.
(And no, I didn’t know him beforehand)lol
I would highly recommend James Morrow for anyone looking to buy a new piece of hifi or AV kit.

Recently purchased a Hifi system

Recently purchased a Hifi system. I cannot fault the staff. I found them to be knowledgeable and very patient. They went the extra mile to find me a system which suited my budget and needs. To the extent that they set up several systems in the shop so that I could experience the sounds first hand. I appreciate the staff for doing this which took considerable time. Nothing was a bother and for this I am most grateful. I will definitely be recommending Sounds by Jame Morrow to my vinyl loving friends. A thank you to all the staff

What a great experience

I called on Saturday to talk about buying a new deck and speakers. And the service was amazing. They (Rupert) booked me in for Monday 18th (today) From the moment I arrived Nick could not do enough for me.
It was great customer service I got from Nick he was so helpful. Nothing was a problem and he gave me plenty time to make sure I had the right thing for me. What a great experience to have. Thanks again for everything. Also thanks to Rupert.

Bought a used Bose 500 speaker on eBay …

Bought a used Bose 500 speaker on eBay from James Morrow. Excellent condition and saved about £100. Very happy with the service I received. Aux not working but this was fully explained. Hence the discounted price. Highly recommended.

Exceptional customer service

Excellent advice, excellent service and a very courteous installation engineer. Nothing was rushed and he made sure I fully understood how to fly prior to him leaving and me going solo.

Recently used James-Morrow engineers to dismantle and refit our complex audio visual system during extensive refurbishment of our apartment. Sounds like a simple job but there were several technical challenges to overcome. Engineers did an outstanding job. Very knowledgeable and professional throughout. Excellent attention to detail. Job well done!

Great turntable buying experience!!

I mainly dealt with Cameron, who was really helpful and knowledgeable about the products, which I'd already researched. I was invited for a listening of the Rega P6 that I was interested in, and when I got there, everything was set up in the fantastically in the comfortable listening room. When asked if I could compare to another model he set that up quickly for me; same when I asked about subwoofers.
I was given plenty of time on my own to listen to my own music and didn't at all feel like I was in a high pressure sales pitch. I left saying I'd let him know later in the week and am now a proud Rega owner...
I've tried another major hi-fi seller in Portobello where I just felt the service was shoddy and the setup a disgrace; so I'm happy I held out for this experience. Thanks to Cameron and his colleague (who talked me through some tv options). ...Also there was an adjustment I wanted to make after delivery and Cameron sent over a video link for this.
