Five star service all round :)

I've used James Morrow as my home entertainment specialists for 5 years now, & couldn't recommend them more highly. I live in the Highlands near Aviemore - this has never proved an issue for the sales or installation team, who willingly come up from Edinburgh to install or renew TVs & surround sound systems etc. Five star service all round :)

Called the Edinburgh site to query availability and pricing on a Bose home cinema and accessories; the colleague took details and said someone would be in touch within a day or so (home working due to COVID). Received a call the next morning with the answers to the questions I had and provided advice on portable speakers that would work seamlessly with the system we liked. Nick emailed the quotes as advised, ensured we received the most up to date model of TV as our comparison was done pre lockdown and called back to confirm the details. Thanks for making it easy!

Another 5* experience!

I have known the James Morrow business for many years and have bought home Hi-Fi and Cinema systems which have all been a great success. I like to buy local when I can and from my very first visit back in around 2006 I got that instant feeling this was a business that really knew their stuff and genuinely valued their customers.
This time round it was something small as a birthday gift for my wife. Looking for earphones for active use we choose the Bose sport earphones. They were competitively priced, the online buying was easy and they were delivered within 48 hours in substantial packaging. For all things audio/Cinema and probably lots more too I’d thoroughly recommend you give them a go next time your looking to treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed!

Great shopping experience, great sound

The amp was for my daughter to replace a Pioneer amp with a hum. It’s perfect, easy to set up, a great sound for such a small amp and so much flexibility and convenience.

Great online shopping experience and it arrived so quickly. Would definitely use James-Morrow again

Rega Planar 3. All good. Very happy!

I bought a Rega Planar 3 from James Morrow and was very pleased with the service under difficult conditions. The turntable is excellent and I am now looking to purchase more and it will be at this shop for sure. The price was very keen. Support was excellennt too as Rega had forgotten to put in the wee sticky standoffs that protect the base from the lid. I received them today in the post from Rega after a short call with James Morrow, so expect top notch after sales support too!

Providing a high level of personable service...

The business was responsive around my recent purchase of some new Sonos kit and Rupert was helpful in sorting out some very early teething troubles. All in all, a high level of personable service.

Still some interfacing problems with new speaker

Purchase went as planned as did delivery. Products are what I am used to with Sonos but performance and set up of Alexa/ Sonos/ software still not resolved.
Will set up call to hopefully get system running as expected

I had a failure on my Rega cd player…

I had a failure on my Rega cd player and got in touch with Rupert at Morrows, the player was not old, but still out of warranty, and did not have a lot of usage.
I explained this to Rupert who went back to Rega and negotiated a repair for me.
Given that I did not purchase the unit from them, his efforts on my behalf are quite simply above and beyond what I could have expected.
I would have no hesitation in recommending a visit, I will most certainly be going back to James Morrow for future purchases.

Awesome Service from the 'sound' experts !

During lockdown, it can be very difficult to get the right advice and procure the right kit. Having a TV in the kitchen with poor 'tinny' sound', I 'phoned James Morrow and had all of my questions expertly answered a solution recommended and a fabulous new Bose sound-bar delivered to my house. I was concerned about my skills to fit and configure the new kit, but was assured that they (James Morrow) would talk me through any set-up issues on the 'phone.

All is now fitted and working so well, I brought them my next problem where the TV and Sonos music in my office/study required improvement in sound quality and synching. The same day, I received James Morrow's recommended SONOS Sound-Bar which has amazingly good sound and a huge improvement.
The 'Lock-down Blues' have now been totally cured and the immensely improved sound system is giving me huge pleasure.
Thank-you Rupert and the guys at James Morrow, a 'Platinum Disc' performance. All I need to do now is find the right wine for the music...
