Overall poor experience
First time I have visited your gym & there was no one available to show me around. I found the changing rooms to be a mess & unclean & the gym was very busy meaning I could not use any of the machines I wanted to.

Fraudsters
Fraudsters. Cancelled my membership after paying my final month membership. got sent an email to say my payment has been collected and i have access to the gym for the rest of the month. arrived at the gym and was refused access. emailed to query and got told i haven’t paid the fee although i have, and have proof from payment plus the email. disgusting robbing fraudsters. whole gym should be shut down all they do is take take take young and older peoples hard earned money. gym is a shambles and nobody can ever help. rats the lot of them.

Firstly the car park put me off
Firstly the car park put me off. Massive gym and teeny tiny car parking spaces. The spaces are so close you can hardly get out of your car, and that is when there is a space. People were queuing each time I visited. I am not exaggerating.
I found that all 3 of the toilets in the women’s changing room were always occupied and I visited twice before I signed up. I did mention it to the trainer. The girls were changing in there. I needed the loo and had to abandon using it at the gym. I was shown around the gym but I could hardly understand what the trainer was saying as her English was poor. How does that make sense. My experience could have been better if not for those things.

First time visiting
First time visiting, very busy, unable to use most of multi gym equipment as crowds of people blocking access. No induction on first visit. Staff didn’t seem approachable or helpful. Free weights area packed with people just hogging everything. Has now put me off continuing to subscribe my membership

Great Gym!
Lovely gym! Good range of equipment and weights.
Love the variety of classes and workout spaces.
Only thing I would advise is adding sanitiser to clean weights/areas, and have bins on the floor (a few times I have visited there has been rubbish and empty packets/bottles left on the machines)

I love the vibe
I love the vibe, done some classes which I really enjoyed, love the fact its open 24/7. They could do with a bigger sauna? Overall a great gym.

Do not even think to Join this gym
Do not even think to Join this gym, staff is very rude and unprofessional, not welcoming, they treat you with sharp tone. and misbehave with you.
Trainers have priority to use the equipment's so that they can make more money when you book a training session with them.
I have raised this with management and their response was shocking
I have seen staff members using disable toilet and disallowing a disable person to use it.
Sunna is very tiny and most of the time not working

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms are very popular and can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate at different times of the day and night. To make the most of the space where possible, though, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities.
In terms of your access through our app please be advised, we have been made aware by our development team that reducing animations in the device settings has resolved this issue for some members. This will be under accessibility, vision enhancements and then reduce animations. If this still doesn’t sort it for you, please contact our team at the Contact Centre by raising a ticket through our website. We will be more than happy to look into this further for you.

SETTINGS/CLEANLINESS
Was impressed with the arrangements of equipment and availability of staff to help out. Also the management’s needs to provide hand wipes and sanitiser around so we can use to clean surface areas before using the equipment’s

Way too busy and stinks, poorly maintained kit.
Way too busy, can’t ever find a machine, poorly maintained equipment, everyone there stinks, including the place in general - cardio stuff is good and plentiful though. It was £10 for the week so I wouldn’t expect much but this was just horror.

I love this gym for several reasons
I love this gym for several reasons. The women's only section is a real selling for me. I also love the fact that the classes are all included in the basic membership. The showers are great, and the sauna is an added bonus. I've been three times in one week and always found that I've been able to use the machines I need to. My only criticism is that the screens on 2 of the machines are not working, so I have been unable to test these out.

Staff are very helpful
Staff are very helpful, there are lots of pieces of equipment to use, as well as many weekly classes to take part in if you wanted too.
Even at busy times you can still get round and do your workout. Also has the added bonus of being a 24/7 gym .
The place is always clean too.
Would definitely recommend if you are thinking about joining a gym.

I do not recommend for over 35s
If you’re over 35, I do not recommend. It’s like a young social club. Also the entrance is a nightmare experience if you have never been and don’t know where you are going. Guys just chatting at reception, had to ask for help getting through the gate as the QR code regenerates so quickly and as the reception desk is not close to the gate and it’s obviously loud, that took some time. Not helpful in directing you when you do finally manage to get in. The only saving grace was the class I went to. I would not recommend

We will take on your feedback about the entry system, if it is not obvious that our 'push for assistance' button is clearly marked, this is something we can address. The last thing we want is entering the gym to be hard work (that should be left to your workout).
Our team at Wolverhampton are on hand to offer you assistance as and when you need it. Our inductions do not just cover the gym floor and equipment but the full JD Gyms experience (QR access, changing facilities, lockers, layouts, classes and equipment). Excellent facilities, ladies section needs updates
The Wolverhampton branch is excellent, with high quality machines, changing room facilities and the classes are regular and enjoyable.
The only thing needed to make it 5 stars is an update to the ladies section. Machines such as a cable leg extension and leg press would be useful, and providing tissues and a spray bottle to wipe down the machines would be good as well.

Please do not hesitate to let the management team know your thoughts on the additions for the women's only area, if it is not logistically an option due to the space/safety, they will be able to offer alternative options/exercises.
We have our team spray and wipe down the equipment on a regular basis to ensure the cleanliness of the equipment. As excessive spray/liquid on the equipment can damage it and put it out of order. Which is why we encourage members to bring their own towel to wipe down equipment after use.
