Terrible service. Heathrow meet and greet terminal 5. Disorganised, waited 40mins. They rung me again after 30mins to confirm terminal despite me given terminal number when ringing them to say we've collected luggage and are ready, and off course adding it to my booking. Also had to wait at drop off for ages for them to collect car. Do not use them!!!!
I wish I’d read Trustpilot reviews before booking this company. Whilst the drop off and return were relatively efficient, I have raised the same concerns about the parking locations used and seriously doubt the accuracy of them being secure and guarded etc.
My tracker clearly shows the car being taken and left for most of the day of drop off in the middle of a housing in Hillingdon (UB3 5LZ). The car was then taken for the duration of my trip to a car park(?) off Bath Road. The day before my return, the car was taken back to Hillingdon and left overnight.
Of course, JetParks responded to my questioning the locations with the excuse the tracker is inaccurate. I guess I should be grateful the car was returned with no damage - muddy, but nothing more sinister.
I won’t be using them again.
Drop off was fine except we accidentally got in the wrong lane just outside the car park. Despite being reassured by 2 staff members we came home to an £80 drop off fine. We did not drop off, we tried to reverse but we're not allowed so followed instructions.
Coming back I called to say we had cleared customs. 20-25 for car. Okay. One hour and 5 mins later standing in car park at 0oc our car arrived. I had phoned a few times. They had to defrost the car. Really? They knew what time we were arriving, they knew the forecast. We had to defrost ourselves in the car. As others have said the car was very muddy inside and out. On the way home the low fuel light came on. We should have had plenty. I don't know where the car had been but it was not a short distance away and it was not on tarmac. Would not use again.
I booked using Looking4PArking website, who own Jetparks (or vice versa) according to the company information I could find.
I used Heathrow T2 Meet & Greet service and paid £133, which was £100 more than it was worth.
I called them 20 minutes before my arrival and again, as I arrived, but there was nobody waiting for me. I waited 15 minutes for them to arrive and my vehicle was not inspected in my presence. I was not given any documentation proving the vehicle condition and the receipt for my car I was given was very unprofessional.
They claim on their website that the car parks used are vetted by them and owned by the Airport. This would give the impression that the car park where your car is parked would be one of the Heathrow Long Stay car parks.
It would appear that my car was parked on a public road (West End Lane) for some of the time, then was taken to the Southside of Heathrow and parked in an undisclosed area that doesn't appear to be a car park (according to Google, but that may not be 100% accurate).
According to my vehicle tracker, the car remained there for 4 days, then the day before my return, the car was taken back to the street where it was taken on the first day (West End Lane UB3 5LT) and appeared to be stored in another undisclosed car park.
Whether either of these car parks were secure, covered by CCTV and 24 hour guarded is unknown at the time of writing, but I highly doubt they were.
The car was relatively clean when I handed it to the provider, but when it was returned, it had clearly been driven through muddy puddles as all four wheel had dirt on them and the drivers mat had muddy foot prints on it, which definitely wouldn't have happened had it been in a 100% tarmac car park.
Upon my return, I phoned the provider when my flight landed and then again after I had cleared security.
Despite this, I was not greeted when I reached the car park and had to call them again to ask where my car was.
In conclusion, this was an expensive way to park my car and no more secure than leaving it in the Long Stay myself.
I leave it to you to decide if you want to risk your vehicle with this provider.
The only positive I can give is that I booked using TopCashBack and received 22% of the cost back.
Overall, I would not recommend JetParks and will not use them ever again, instead, I would book with Heathrow directly, as then my car will be parked in an Airport controlled car park.
Having used JetParks several times previously it was disappointing to find our designated Car Park at Jet Parks 3 had been moved to JetParks Ringway because it was closing for refurbishment. What was difficult to understand was that having given my email, no notice was being given to me! The operator at Jet Parks 3 suggested that I had NOT entered my car reg no. but I fail to see how this can be as I successfully paid and was issued a receipt and Parking Confirmation with ref no. I do like the service they offer but this time I feel let down by sloppy admin. On the plus side, on return the lady driver was really helpful with my wifes bags , she has difficulty walking, and also with advice on location of disabled parking spaces, which we didn’t know about.
We returned from holiday to gave our car returned with scratched alloys!! Raised with Jet Parks at the airport and afterwards and they won’t accept liability! Terrible company - do not use!
It’s not meet and greet when you have to wait over 30 minutes for your car!!! Rude drivers who answer the phone. Waste of money!!! Wouldn’t recommend!!
Absolutely horrendous service. The night before we came back they drove our car off the parking and parked it on off street parking outside someone's house. We called when at the airport, they said we were not meant to be back before 10, despite having our flight information, then simply become unavailable. We landed at 7. Now stuck at airport after 20h flight and speaking to the police. Needsless to say, don't use this service.
My car was driven by the Jetparks driver into the Ulez zone and they did not tell me so I was Unaware until I got 2 penalty notices which will cost me £180. No warnings on the Web site informing me of the chance they would drive in the zone. If I knew I could have registered my car
We waited 59 minutes for our car to be dropped off at Heathrow (Terminal 3) We were not kept informed of any problems with the redelivery, only told when we chased it.
When the car was finally returned it was covered in mud, on the passenger side as if someone had driven quickly through a field and lots of tree debris on the back .
I did not bring this to the attention of the driver as I was more concerned that he paid for the parking charge, again that was something I had to ask him to do.
Inside the vehicle over 1/8 of a tank of petrol was used to cover 16 miles and the radio station was loud on a hip hop channel. I took pictures as evidence for a complaint to customer services.
Initial parking was easy and the shuttle was efficent, the return was entirly different, shuttle from Stansted to the car park at 03.30hrs was insufficent for the volume of customers, the volume of people waiting was extremly long, when the shuttle did arrive the driver permitted to vehicle in my opinion to be overloaded, to the point the was more standing than seated, it was physically impossible to move within the vehicle, every time it stopped a significant volume of passengers had to diembark to permit others to leave, then re enter to continue, had the vehicle had an accident the outcome could have been extremely serious. Basically insufficent shuttles for the volume of passengers.
Excellent Experience all round. Following reading the reviews on arriving home this morning and after using JetParks 3 Manchester Airport and can honestly say we had a very positive experience.
I can totally understand others negative experiences will have put them off using again, as we too were driving around for about 10-15 mins It is a very big site and quite daunting if you haven’t used before, we eventually found a place. Very straight forward getting on the bus as there are plenty of bus stops around the site. However there isn’t clear signage to direct you to the bus stop at Manchester Airport so had to navigate ourselves. Drivers were cheery and polite.
Would definitely use again and recommend.
Horrendous experience. Parked up at Manchester airport at 6.30am. Had to paddle through torrents of water the car park to the bus stop. No lighting so couldn’t see much, no signs directing to the bus stop. U5 bus stop was flooded too. I won’t be using them again and will be complaining. Currently sitting in the terminal with soaking wet feet.
East midlands Airport jet 2 carparks. Was given postcode to find park. Not just me went to wrong destination. Then on arrival I'm glad I had my 4x4 the road was just large stones and lots loose to possibly chip or damage your vehicle. I have a sensitive alarm on my jeep and when I returned to pick up my car I found it was flat on the battery . I couldn't understand this so called for assistance on the bus stop red button . No answer then went to main building. No one there then a car appeared in a blue 59 plate mazda 6 . He saw me but didn't ask what I needed so I approached him asking if he had jump lead . Honestly he said I work here but basically his body language was F.O. . So I called AA they were there within 40 minutes. But while I was waiting I noticed 2 young men running round carpark try doors . They opened a silver focus or similar a bit away so couldn't catch reg. But I'm wondering if these germs had been at my car and my alarm had flattened my battery . They went through the exit gates at 19.17 approx on 4th October with car . Secure parking my A.H. as for booking app you get a discount when you book but have download a app to get it. It doesn't accept your postcode etc. Scam
Omg do not use Manchester airport jet parks 3, arrived Sunday 10th, midday, we waited the maximum 15 minutes, bus arrived already full to bursting, very very traumatic start to hols, packed in like sardines, no air, heat was horrendous, nowhere to put case other than to stand in aisle with it as bus swung around. We were last off at terminal 2!! Return journey was ridiculous too , 03.00 and buses were again rammed so couldn’t get on, drivers couldn’t care less, the driver couldn’t have cared less, told us to wait in another area which was wrong instruction so nearly missed the next bus!! had to wait another 15 minutes. Car park dark, signs cannot be seen and trying to find the vehicle exit was a challenge. Basically it was a total shambles and yet they take over £100 for such atrocious treatment/service, will never use official Manchester airport parking again, those considering it should be warned!
There were circa 5 cars in front of me and the barrier would not open for any of the cars, waited for approx 15 minutes to get out as the no one was answering the buzzer and the ANPR clearly wasn't working, just what you need at 4.30am
Would not use again!
On return journey to jet parks, Stansted, the driver ignored our stop and continued on for a further 3 stops before stopping. When challenged him, he was rude and abrupt.
We eventually found our car but because it was late and dark it took us a full extra 20 minutes walking around the car park before we did.
The lighting was extremely poor which meant reading the different zones was difficult.
My wife and I are both pensioners and found the experience very stressful, especially after a long flight back to the uk.
Would we use Jet parks again? Not a hope!,
Had to wait 40mins for the bus to arrive at terminal 2
Absolute useless. I waited 40 minutes for a bus. Complete rubbish service. Never be using them again. DONT USE THESE COWBOYS.
Since the pandemic the whole infrastructure of Manchester Airport has fallen apart (on landing our pilot actually said over the tannoy "welcome to the most disorganised airport in Europe"!!). MAN Jet Parks is no exception.
Dropoff was at 5am. In the dark. The site is largely unlit. Its like a maze with no logical layout and no map provided either online or on-site. As you enter there is a digital board supposed to tell you which areas have space. It wasn't working. There appears to be no staff or security. The place is absolutely rammed with cars parked on yellow lines and hatched areas - meaning you can't navigate the 'roads' of the site, as they are blocked, and have to keep reversing back out of stretches. In the pitch black. Theres about 20 disabled spaces for a site of thousands. The surface is not gravel.. its more like rubble. It will ruin any decent shoes or trainers you have on and the wheels on your cases. When I finally found a space (45 mins!) the bus arrived quickly. Driver was nice and cheerful. Trip to T3 about 10 mins.
On return - We waited over 30mins for a bus which then, because of a tour of the terminals and getting stuck in the T2 traffic nightmare took over 30 mins to get to the Jet Park. So over an hour. Digital sign at gate still not working. Driver was horrible. Couldn't be more customer unfriendly if he tried. Bus Stops, like the rest of the site, follow no logic in numbering so you have to really keep a look ahead for your stop coming up or he just sails past whilst you ding ding ding the bell to no avail (the only time he seemed happy). Then you have to find your way out of the maze. Terrible signage where there's any at all.
Save your money, nerves, trainers and case wheels and get a taxi or park elsewhere.
