I have a 19 year old lincat Mercury RC1090 range cooker built by Lincat before they sold the Mercury Range cooker to Rangemaster. Getting spares has become increasingly difficult. The door hinge on the "everyday" oven broke meaning the door would not sit tight against the door seals. Crawling the internet I literally stumbled across Joint Electrical Services and filled out the online form describing the problem.
After a couple of days, I got an email requesting pictures which were sent. I recevied a quote and a date for the repair was arranged.
Anne Steele (Operations Administrator) was particularly helpful, fielding my questions and working through the quote and arranging the date.
Our engineers (Dave and Dan) arrived on time and spent 5 hours carryoing out the repair, replacing the required parts and giving the cooker a service. Great work guys.

Michael was very professional, tidy and kept me updated on progress, he replaced the faulty parts on my Bora and it’s now working perfectly.

Informed customer services Bora of a problem who arranged contact with Joint Electrical Services Ltd. A date was given. service engineer turned up on time, and was very polite and presentable . He carried out the repairs quickly. Dealt with all my questions, and left the place clean and tidy.

The engineer who attended the repair was very attentive and competent. He identified the fault immediately, replaced what was causing it, cleaned up any mess and left. He also did a software update. Excellent service.

We reported a problem on Friday afternoon, but received a phone call, email and text with a promising response. Obviously we had the weekend inbetween, but on Tuesday morning someone arrived promptly and fixed the problem.

Have used them previously. They are not cheap. They have to come from the Midlands to undertake the work but they are reliable and solve the problem and come relatively quickly having analysed the problem in a methodical way. They are always courteous and available to talk to.

Made contact with Bora to advise of the fault. JES contacted immediately to arrange an appointment for an engineer.
JES confirmed the approximate time the afternoon before. Engineer confirmed the time on the morning too.
He arrived on the dot. Was professional, friendly and respectful of the new kitchen. Used protective cover's on worktops. Advised what he was doing to repair the downdraft. The hobs are flush mounted so he had to remove, repair and re silicone back in. He did a great job. Couldn't tell they'd been removed.

Very prompt service when I found I had a problem with my new kitchen extractor One phone call and they gave me a time and date for the engineer which was about one week Now it’s I will all fixed ps the engineer was very good with his apprentice
