The JonoKnife is a bread saw handcrafted in Britain. It uses an extra thin Sheffield made blade to slice bread. It slices very crusty and even super soft bread like no other. Also known as a fiddle bow knife or Appalachian bow saw bread knife, the JonoKnife works better than any normal bread knife on the market.

A slice of delight
Amazing bread knife that is a joy to use, as well as a beautiful object to have and to hold. Puts more grace and poetry into everyday life - now the morning slice is a hymn to harmony. Jono is a pleasure to deal with - engraved my knife beautifully to my precise specifications, and posted out super quickly so the item could arrive in time for a birthday.

Excellent knife, very well made and a joy to use, perfect and personal customer service and via Etsy the purchase was very convenient even when shipping to Sweden. Highly recommended!

Essential sourdough knife!
Like others who have written reviews here we bought this knife to cut homemade sourdough bread, which all previous bread knives had failed to cope with. We have had it for over a year and it works brilliantly. Now we plan to buy a breadboard to match our beech knife. This has a groove to make cutting through sourdough's crusty base easier as well as somewhere to store the knife. Customer services have kindly offered to email me when they are back in stock. Can't wait!

The best bread knife EVER!
Saw you (Jono knife) at the NEC Good food show and was unsure about the knife.
However, decided when I got home to order the XL oak and WOW, it definitely does what it claims. My husband loves making sourdough bread but its so annoying when you try to cut the loaf, nightmare. The bread, not matter how sharp your knife is just squashes down as you cut.
Well not any more thanks to the Jono knife. I highly recommend this knife, no more squashed bread slices.

jonoknife.com this knife is the very best
I bought this jono knife because I have trouble cutting my home made bread. The blade on this knife is 1/6 of the blades on average knifes and is very sharp, it comes with a guard. There are different qualities of wood from beech to oak. I would recommend this knife to anyone.
