I reached out after getting frost damage on my new Joolca HOTTAP and received a quick response with helpful resources anticipating my needs and outlining options for me for replacement. They made the process incredibly easy. I really appreciate it! IJoolca will be my go-to for off-grid camping luxuries and I would recommend their products and services to others.

Best Support Means a Lot!

I have several products from Joolca and I am excited to use them when I finally head out on a trip. I have the GottaGo Toilet, the HotTap, and the Tub. My 5 star review is for their AMAZING and fast support, even halfway across the world! I needed a little part and they got back to me asap and I had a tracking number for the item merely hours later! Most Impressive!!!

One of the worst customer service…

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever encountered. Definitely not wasting a single penny on them.
After pointing out an inconsistency on their website about validity of a discounted price, they immediately updated the inconsistency but also removed the discount a month earlier than advertised. Their response was simply "We have changed the website, you can but the product for more money now." Not a thank you, not an admission of false advertising, no nothing. Not even after a repeated question, which just resulted in arrogant replies.
I had my eyes set on about $2000 worth of products, but there's a lucky competitor out there now. Never ever do business with arrogant assholes.

Breaks down over time. UK customers beware.

The unit works great but after a few months it will start to break down. Ignition will stop working, you;ll have to turn down the water flow in order for it to alight. Then the hottap cover is faulty, it doesnt fit properly and overtime the zip splits.

I emailed their support over two weeks ago with no reply. Their website states that their products have a warranty but i've yet to receive a response.

Update: Support finally responded and issued a new cover, however I have a 3 month wait time to receive it as it's on back order

I checked our records and I couldn't find any emails from you before this review, but I do see that you reached out the next day, and our team promptly resolved your concerns. I'm not sure why the initial email didn't show up and I'd be happy to check what happened. Can you share your ticket number with me and I'll look into this for you?
Regarding your HOTTAP, you mentioned that it's only working on low water flow - not having enough water flow usually is the cause. It sounds like the filter on your HOTTAP may have debris, and clearing that out would help solve this. If you'd like help troubleshooting, please send us a message at support@joolca.com with the subject "ATTN: Marleen - Trustpilot" and I'll get you back on track.
As for your Mount Cover, I see that our support team has already placed a replacement order for you to get that fixed.

Amazing customer service!!!

Amazing customer service!!! When I had an issue with one of my water pumps, the company response times were just amazing. The quickest I have seen from any company and that was every time I had responded to them from my troubleshooting ticket. They took care of my issue and I had a new pump within a few days. Truly awesome to have great customer service these days. Thank you Joolca for a great experience!!!

I contacted Joolca when I realized that I had made a mistake with my initial order. I was very impressed by how quickly their Customer Service responded and how they continued to correspond over several days until my issue was resolved.

Best thing since sliced bread

We absolutely love the Joolca hot tap . We got it with the hot tub . We haven’t used the hit tub quite yet as we are traveling but the shower we have used daily . Joolca thought of everything when they made this . The hoses are easy to connect and disconnect , all fittings were included except one to hook it to a garden hose but any hardware store has that. The hot tap is a breeze to operate , and the rain shower doesn’t seem to be terrible on water usage either . We love everything from the fit , finish to nice hoses etc. I’d also add their customer service is very quick , kind and easy to understand. They even got back to me on a Sunday which is absolutely unheard of these days . Thanks Joolca !!!!

Exceeded expectations in every way!

I reached out to customer service on a Sunday morning, not expecting to hear back. Much to my surprise not only was my problem solved immediately, but the process was easy, clear and surpassed my expectations. This was easily the most impressive customer service experience I have ever experienced.

Best customer service ever!

I bought my joolca hottap a couple years ago. It is fantastic! And, Joolca How’s the best customer service of any company I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. I had the water pump that I hadn’t tried out, when I did, it wasn’t working. I contacted the customer service and they sent a replacement pump, and it arrived in a couple of days and it is working great! I can’t get over how good the customer service is with this company. Everyone else could take a lesson from them on how to do it! I highly recommend the Joolca hottap! I’ve used it camping, and at home. At the moment, I’m using it at home for my redneck hot tub.I love it!

Joolca makes a great product that…

Joolca makes a great product that shipped fast and installed as expected. Their YouTube installation and use video was spot on and I love it! Their customer service team was fantastic. I found a small tear that happened during shipping and they were very quick to respond - even after hours - and quickly sent me a replacement. All I wanted was a patch kit, but they replaced the whole cover. Awesome people!

Customer service was excellent

Customer service was excellent. I had gone through the checkout process but forgot to enter the discount code. Response was timely of my request, if they could honor the discount even though I had completed the order process, which they kindly did by refunding my card that discount amount. Very pleased with the customer service. Thank you!

Great and helpful service!

I contacted customer service with help setting up my newly purchased Joolca water heater. Their representative was polite, thorough, and followed up to help ensure my issue was resolved. The product is great, and the problem was my water pressure, which they identified. I highly recommend.

I received excellent assistance

I received excellent assistance with an unusual installation for my Joolca HotTap. Tech help was knowledgeable and honest. Great follow up as well. I use my Joolca HotTap almost every day. It’s been a treasured tool for my travels, and now serves me at home, too. Cheers.

Awful company refusing to return an…

Awful company refusing to return an unused kit @ $799 notified unhappy with the kit within 12 hours of receiving the item. 10+ emails sent and they still refuse to refund.

DO NOT TRUST!...AWFUL COMPANY AND PRODUCT IS OVERLY COMPLICATED AND YOU CAN BUY MUCH BETTER.

I've had a look at our email conversation and to give you some context, our returns are managed through a third-party logistics partner who schedules the collection and return of products. Unfortunately, in your case, they’ve been very unresponsive, which caused a delay in getting your order picked up. This is completely unacceptable and I am very sorry for the long drawn-out process of getting your order returned to us. We've taken this issue very seriously and have raised it with our logistics team lead to follow up.
In regular cases, we require items to be returned to our warehouse before we issue a refund, however, I see that our team went ahead and processed your full refund to make things right as quickly as possible.

What happens when things go wrong

Let's be honest no matter how good a product is sometimes things don't go as planned. This is when you find out if a company is worth doing business with, Joolca has earned my business for the long term.

I have owned the shower/sink combo now for almost two years. Initially I was struggling with the heat not kicking on with the pump but with the quick and helpful guidance of the customer service staff we diagnosed what was going on and found a solution.

Recently that same pump had a melt down (bad luck I think as everything is good quality). Without any hassle we figured it all out and they sent a replacement (warranty) pump out in a hurry.

A company that takes care if me after the sale is a company worth doing business with!
