I have used this more than twice and it's much better

Don't know why some of the items I ordered for are cancelled. I received messages on the days they would be delivered. Waited for the agents to call, they didn't. I now called telling them I've been waiting for them, one said he'll deliver the next day and the other said he'll call me back. I don't know the kind of orientation or training they have, or maybe they have other reasons for not coming to my side. I think Jumia needs to put some things right.
Well, I'm still waiting for other items I ordered for, hope it'll be delivered soon.

I have placed orders from jumia for years and the experience has been alright until now. The unusual times of covid 19 has revealed irregularities. I have been expecting my order for the past week and order eventually arrives incomplete while I was resting cuz I stayed up all night working. Phone was switched off as I needed to rest.
Note to Jumia: Train your delivery men to drop parcels with home security if they can’t reach the person who placed the order. They should communicate atleast a day before scheduled delivery especially if delivery has been delayed. Teach them etiquette. In my case, the delivery man asked the security to obstruct my siesta before he could deliver.Even when order had been left with home security while I was at work 2 years ago(previous order).
Bottomline, seeing the person who placed the order can never be guaranteed especially in the absence of adequate communication and would consequently, have to leave delivery with home security while taking note of name of person who received order, enquire from nearest neighbor home security to verify if order has been handed to the right security,capturing delivery with a camera if necessary.

You are strongly advised to steer clear of Jumia and it's services. I made an order and almost two weeks after I'm yet to receive the order.

The agent drops calls whenever I try to reach him. Reported to the management on their Twitter account and was just getting robotic responses. Also tried to get food from the Jumia Food app. That was a disaster. After first failed attempt. I tried again and the agent kept calling me and apologising for messing up my order.
Eventually I had a chat on their app and was abruptly told my order had been cancelled and left me hanging there.

Till yet I've not gotten my money back.

It was a terrible experience that I don't want on my enemies. It's better to shop offline or use another merchant.
Run.

I’m so disappointed in my recent and first experiences with the online store.. you cancel orders without refund and without reasons for cancellations... refund my all my money or else I’ll just wait until corona outbreak and “stay at home/social distancing and isolation is over then I take legal actions against you..

Watch out for this jumia store. They are scam and dupe.
They sold PS3 to me #50,000, advertised it is preinstalled with 20 games.
The play station didn't work talkless of having any games installed.
I reported to jumia the PS3 is not working and need to return it.
Jumia said the driver will call tonarrange pick up. Since over three weeks now, Jumia have refused to reply my email. They didn't answer call either.
I waa lucky they answered call last week Thursday 5th Dec and they said driver will arrange pick up. They have blanked out the item on their website so I won't be able to initiate return.
Guys you need to share your feedback about this sham online retailer. I didn't want to go online but they have left me with no options. This is just the beginning. I will spread this review all over social media.

The phone is great

I paid for a friends food two weeks ago, the order was made from drumsticks, till today I’ve not seen the food nor the money, I was told it was declined even after they have taken my money and confirmed the order, how funny, I was told the money will be refunded in 48 hours, uptill now nothing!!! Normal naija shameful factor in play!!!! Pls return my money and keep your shame and disgrace to yourselves!!! I will never do this again and I’m about to spread the news to the world cos this is FRAUD

I booked citilane royal hotel lagos from united kingdom through Jumia the hotel had airbrushed pictures and glowing reviews on Jumia.However the hotel was absolutely poor when I lodged in,facilities were deteriorating and the food was poor and tasteless apparently the reviews were fake and the pictures airbrushed.At a point I had rats in the room. Jumia did not offer a feedback about this substandard hotel which I find disappointing. Clients need to be aware of the poor state of this facility .

Well, as for me Jumia is a company that is selfcentered. It doesn't put the interest of it customer first.
My name is mohammed afolabi, i made a purchase on Jumia nigeria for Libiron Capsule and Samsu oil.
Unfortunately by the time i received my delivery i didn't check to open it believing that all is well. I opened the package on getting home but alas i saw only the libiron capsule without the 2 Samsu oils that was claimed that would be included in the order.
I placed a call to lodge my complaints,,Guys you need to see how this people wasted my precious time.
Word of Advice..Make sure u open your order to verify before paying so that you won't find yourself in my shoe

Most people do not understand how Online Shopping works. Only if we can read and understand, then everyone will love online shopping just as I do when Shopping with Jumia.

I bought a phone off this site the last time I visited Nigeria and it's been working till now. I really appreciate the work you guys do and promise to come back. I really love supporting African businesses whenever I can and you guys make it easy with the quality of products you sell!

You can get almost anything and everything here but delivery needs to be worked on.

Honest Customer Service. Reliable shopping platform. Ease of payment, return and refund.

Jumia Nigeria is an unreliable online shopping platform to shop from. I ordered for one unit of white coloured Gas Cooker with auto-ignition function. To my greatest disappointment, what Jumia delivered to me was a black coloured Gas + Electric Cooker with no auto-ignition function. Secondly, I ordered for a DSTV Dish Kit and 20 metre cable. Unfortunately, the DSTV Dish Kit was delivered without the 20 metre cable. On the days the items were delivered, I was not at home and my brother received them on my behalf. Two weeks after I returned home, I discovered this fraudulent acts that Jumia perpetrated against me. I tried to return the items based on the issues highlighted above, but Jumia refused to allow me return the items.

Jumia has conned me of my money. Bought an item from them with a
factory default and they have been elusive ever since. If you intend to buy
from them and you are reading this to form your opinion, run for your life.
Konga is better even without payment on delivery they still get back to me when
I have any issues.

Was awesome until started doing experiments with customer's money. This is making it a week plus they deducted money from my debit card for an order they said was invalid.

Would give them a few more days to refund me before taking further actions. No serious business performs experiment(s) on a live website. Test and new features were supposed to be tested on a development console and not on a live website.

I got my latest phone from them and although some don't think it's wise to purchase your phone online, I did it because a good friend recommended them and I was pleased with my order. Will def order again
