Counterfeit AirPods and not refunding
Counterfeit goods refusing to refund. I bought AirPods 6 weeks ago. On receipt it was obvious they were counterfeit. The look and feel we’re not authentic, including the light, sound quality and battery life. I contacted KF Direct and they said I could return and provided a pre paid Royal Mail label.
I returned the item nearly 6 weeks ago - when there were NO Royal Mail strikes. Other things I posted that day have been received by other retailers. Despite contacting KF Direct over 8 times (with a photo of the postage receipt) but they keep blaming the Royal Mail strikes.
Firstly, as previously mentioned there were no strikes when I posted the goods. Secondly, I’m aware this has happened to a number of other customers which suggests KF Direct do this regularly and do not refund items. Thirdly, the return of the product is not a consumers responsibility if they have provided proof of return and the return delivery was arranged by the trader.
KF Direct - it’s been 6 weeks - please refund me ASAP in accordance with UK consumer protection laws !

Please note that these are replaced with aftermarket Grade A OEM Parts and we can't compare with brand new as the quality may differ because of the refurbishment process. The internal components are Apple but the external body can be changed due to hygienic reasons.
If you are looking for flawless quality and performance, we request you to kindly buy brand new Apple Airpods from our website with Apple Warranty, these brand new items start from £240.00. These are refurbished products and that's the reason why they are cheaper than the brand new ones.
You are still covered with seller warranty as well as eligible for full refund but for that we have to get the item back so that we can raise an investigation with the suppliers. We source thousands of items from different suppliers around UK so until we get this item back we are unable to recognize the supplier or from which batch it was sold.

Sends fake goods as Apple
Having read the reply, I need to point out these are NOT refurbished. They are Yesido branded e.g. no real reason that the charging case would need to be replaced for ‘hygiene’ reasons.

Don’t buy (Apple AirPods) from this company. I ordered refurbished AirPods and received Yesido earbuds that I could have bought cheaper online. When I asked customer support they said that the reseller uses top grade replacement parts for hygiene reasons - or every single part was replaced by counterfeit parts as far as I could tell, so not actually refurbished as that doesn’t explain Yesido branding on the charging case. There is no reason why this would be changed for hygiene reasons. Should not be advertised as Apple so reported to trading standards. I suspect I will get the same stock response from customer services as others have, below.

Counterfeit products the company has…
Counterfeit products the company has been reported. Purchased Apple Ear Pods and some branded Yesido product came through the post. Despite what this company has to say, which they have repeated on many reviews, it’s still counterfeit.
I have seen many reviews with the same information with the company claiming that because it’s refurbished that means they have rebranded the product as Yesido EarBuds. This is still illegal, this is called “reverse passing off” which is a trademark infringement. I have asked KF-Direct for proof that they have obtained Apples permission in doing this, but they were unable to supply this information.
They also claim that Apple 3rd Gen AirPods are £240, this isn’t the case it’s £189 with MagSafe charging. £70 is about the right cost for actual refurbished AirPods.
This company is selling counterfeit EarPods, I have also been to Apple to confirm if any part of it was Apple, obviously they confirmed they were fake. The joys of Apple ‘a Guru’s.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! ITS JUST TIME WASTING HOPING THE COMPANY WILL GET AWAY WITH IT.

Arrived good and work perfect
They arrived pretty quickly and work pretty good although when I try connecting them to my iPhone they do say they can’t be verified as real AirPods but since they are cheaper than AirPods and work predominantly the same then they are good in my books
