We order our salmon from Lambton & Jacskson every year and their utterly delicious sides of thinly cut smoked salmon never fail to deliver on taste. Even family members who are not into salmon due to the often overly fishy taste say this one is particularly good.

The only small request I’d have for future deliveries is that packets/ plastic the smoked salmon sides are delivered in not be greasy/salmon smelling. Otherwise once again one very happy customer.

Normaly I would sing the praises for the smoked salmon. But my Xmas delivery some how did not meet the high standard I have become used to. The salmon was a little dry, I always buy the unsliced as I believe it has the flavour more locked in than presliced. The surface (not skin side) was covered in a hard glaze which had to be removed to get to the actual salmon. This will not deter me from Buying in the future,but I will be interested to see if this was a one of or the new style for the future.

Superb piece of smoked salmon - when will whole smoked eel be available?

Excellent side of smoked salmon loved by all the family on Xmas day.

The salmon is delicious as usual, but the slicing is unsatisfactory: you simply cannot see how and where to separate the slices easily and they seem gummed together in a lump which only starts to untangle about 4 inches in from the end of the side. Also I would not describe the cut as a a D-Cut - more like any other flat-sliced smoked salmon but harder to separate and serve.

Arrived early on scheduled day. Heavily smoked Maldon cure remains a family Christmas favourite. For another year we may revert back to the long sliced version but the D cut lasts well and is easy to serve. Very good salmon. Available at Selfridges for those in London who like it.

Lambton and Jackson smoked salmon blows your taste buds out the water! It’s succulent and utterly superb ! It’s an absolute treat. Love, love, love it !!
