I recently hired a 15-seat van from Hire LDN and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.

On the day of collection, the vehicle was ready on time, spotlessly clean and in excellent condition. The handover process was efficient but thorough, and they took the time to ensure I was comfortable with everything before driving away. The van itself was perfect — spacious, comfortable and drove brilliantly. It made transporting everyone easy and enjoyable.

I had a very disappointing experience with this car rental company.

The company charged £54 directly from my bank account for “administration costs” related to forwarding a parking charge notice, instead of dealing with the matter properly.

What makes this situation unacceptable is the fact that I was not the driver of the vehicle at the time of the alleged parking incident. The vehicle had already been returned to the rental agency, which is clearly confirmed by documentation showing the exact date and time of handover. I will provide these documents as evidence.

Despite this, the company:
did not pay the parking charge,
did not verify who was responsible,
and still charged me £54 simply for passing the notice on.

As a customer, I expected a fair and professional approach. Instead, I was charged for an issue I did not cause and had no control over.

I strongly advise future customers to be cautious. This handling of the situation shows a lack of responsibility and customer care.
