We purchased an L desk with shelves for my youngest’ Christmas. It finally showed up at the end of January. Once unpacked, we noted that the struts were all bent, the top was seriously discolored, and there were no shelves. It cannot be fully assembled because of the warped parts. Leafhold argued that I ordered the version without the shelves and offered $30. What are we supposed to do with a pile of unusable pieces? $300+ and still no desk. Throwing $30 at us does not resolve the mess sitting in my living room. We will never order from them again!

The package of desk arrived on time and in good condition. I took about half hour to put it together. Very easy.

Like so many others, I made the mistake of not looking at the reviews before purchasing from Leafholdstore.com. I paid $314 for a "Simple Wooden Working Desk Computer Table (Black / Walnut)". I didn't realize the item was shipping from China and took several weeks to arrive. The work surface is made from cheap materials with a laminate finish, which was scratched in several places. The legs and supports are all made from cheap, hollow painted metal....not very sturdy for the money. I decided to keep the piece because of the nightmare stories I've read about trying to return the product. Fortunately, the package was not damaged during shipping as others reported. Also, it appears that the company's website is now being reported by my browser as a malicious website, so buyer beware. I would definitely steer clear of this company and do your research before buying.

We received a damaged product and immediately emailed the company. No response within 24 hours, so we sent a second email. No response. We opened a dispute with our credit card company 10 days after the initial email and then finally received a response. They offered 20% refund initially, then 60% refund or replacement parts that would take 5 weeks to arrive. Not acceptable as a solution for us. Their website states that they will accept returns within 30 days and damaged good are an acceptable return reason - this company is not acting in good faith and the quality of the product is poor, damage notwithstanding. This feels scammy and we are hoping to get our money back via our credit card company.

Products are deceptively listed, of horrible/cheap quality, are shipped directly from China. Order takes over 4 weeks to arrive. My order was completely damaged, and the materials were of cheap quality that didn't match the online product descriptions. Leafhold would not honor their return policy and refused to issue full refund. In the end, the most they were willing to do is offer a 50% refund. Total scam. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time. Stick with Wayfair, Amazon or some other reputable online retailer.

Customer service was friendly when I called about a missing piece for my bookshelf, but it took a week to get the replacement part. Satisfied, but the wait was annoying.

The desk is excellent, but it came with a minor scratch. Customer care was excellent, however, and offered me a discount on my next purchase.

The worst item I’ve ever seen. Do not order from this store. The bookshelf I bought is impossible to assemble. Literally - it is physically impossible for this thing to be assembled. Never, ever order form this place.

I buy roughly 90% of everything online. Naturally, I thought buying a simple desk would not be a different experience. I failed to do a lot of research on the company, assuming they shipped from within the states based off their website (their return address was in another country). I purchased the desk ($250) and about 2 weeks later, I got the shipping notification. 2 more weeks go by and still no desk. I reached out to the company via email (because they have no phone number listed). 24 hours later they responded and basically just said “please be patient-it will get there soon”. Finally after a total of 34 days, the desk arrived. The box was completely crushed and missing a corner. You could obviously see the defective desk without opening the package. I immediately sent photos to the company. Then began the worst customer service experience. It takes minimum 24 hours for an email response, even if you respond immediately, which makes communication a very long process. I asked multiple times in the email thread for a phone number and was never provided one. I asked for a replacement desk top and after MANY emails back and forth (most of which were them offering a $25 credit so I could go get the desk fixed locally- they offered credits in at least 4 different emails after I refused), they finally agreed to replace it. It took another month to receive the replacement. This one was in better condition, but still had flaws. Chipped corners, chipped edges, and a couple of dents. Unfortunately, their ultimatum to replace the desk was “we are not responsible for any defects in the replacement-are you willing to risk it? Or take this $25 credit and get yours fixed”. So I risked it. I regret this entire purchase. PLEASE do your research before you buy from this company.

Terrible experience. I bought a book shelf and received an order confirmation with a shipping address from Chino, CA which was a lie. The item was shipped from China and I was told I wouldn't have shipping into until it cleared customs...6 weeks later. I book shelf was made with very cheap material, instructions in a different language and impossible to assemble. I get items all the time that I have to assemble, but this one wasn't even possible to assemble...so it's in the trash.

Buyer beware of the false information and poor quality of the over priced items this company sells. I went to look up the site to get a picture of what I ordered and that url is no longer available...this whole company is a scam.

Well I guess I learned my lesson buying online, you need to do your research first. Purchased a desk from Leafholdstore for my son's bedroom as a Christmas gift for $314, only once I received the confirmation order email did I realize it was coming straight from CHINA as the order confirmation email states 6-8 weeks for delivery. Once it arrived after 7 weeks, the box had China labels all over it and the box itself was beat up pretty good. Once I opened it I realized I had totally been duped. VERY VERY Poor quality piece of furniture, thin metal with predrilled holes that were stripped.
The desk top had scratches, I counted 9 in total, quite large and the fake wood desk top was already delaminating. What a mistake by me.....

It's a monitor stand.good quality.But shipping was a little slow.

Had a small issue with my lift desk. Customer service replied with a detailed troubleshooting guide within the hour.very helpful

Ordered 10 office desks, 3 had defects. Customer service was too busy, and it took several days to sort out replacements. I appreciated their effort, but it wasted our much time.

Decent pricing on desk, but be prepared for slow shipping. The wait time for my desk was a bit much.

Please know this item was thrown out due to missing pieces, poor manufacturing, holes in incorrect places and basically cheaply made parts.

What a gross disappointment after gifting this to a family member as their holiday surprise.

I order many items that require assembly but none have been as poorly made as this. Also, Chinese directions that are printed so small that a magnifying glass doesn’t even help with is ridiculous.

What a racket. There was nothing quality about this product. Unable to even partially assemble.

Don’t waste your money.

Product took a full 2 months to arrive and when I did finally receive it, it was chipping and in terrible condition. Also, there was no hardware to be found for assembly. The return instructions make you jump through hoops to even try to return the poor product they sell.

Follow-up to my review on 12/7/23. Since neither Leafhold or PayPal would resolve our complaint, I finally decided to open the box. I immediately saw that one of the legs has a sizable dent in it. The steel frame is very cheap. The ad on their website claims "thickened steel frame"; I measured the thickness of the metal with a digital caliper: 0.57mm! Honestly, you can dent it by just looking at it hard. The desk top is not wood, some sort of particle board with a faux wood surface. Wish I could post pictures. This is junk and not worth anything close to $244. Do not do business with this deceptive company.
