Ordered 10 office desks, 3 had defects. Customer service was too busy, and it took several days to sort out replacements. I appreciated their effort, but it wasted our much time.

UPDATE: I wish I could give negative stars. I’ve been emailing them every day about the USED and DAMAGED item they sent me and they’re trying to offer me 30% off. Unbelievable. I’m going to report them to Amex for fraud.

Bad quality

Took us all day to assemble the piece of crap and it took about 2 months to arrive and the instructions were in chinese and has poor quality

Terrible Product and Service

My desk arrived nearly a month after I ordered it from China. The box was damaged and consequently the top of the desk was damaged. I sent photos and I was offered $30 (eventually up to $120) for a desk that was $300+. They said if I shipped it back to China they could refund me but it would take a month to do so—and who knows how much it would cost to ship it back!? They then told me I could destroy it and video it and send them a video for a full refund. So I did this and emailed to ask if I should send them the video or post it somewhere and they have completely ghosted me. I have a destroyed desk (at their behest) and I am out over $300. This was insane.

P.S. The desk was not the quality at all that was represented in the photo. You could probably get a higher quality desk for half the price on Amazon. The top laminate is very papery with a very cheap particle board underneath. The legs are not at all thick metal, but thin and cheap. The other reviews are suspect at best and I doubt they'll leave my review up.

Please do not buy anything from them

Please do not buy anything from them. I ordered a bookshelf over a month ago and all I have is a tracking number that shows me the label has been made. I emailed customer service and all I got was a canned response telling me to check the tracking number, which I obviously have already done. I am contesting my purchase with PayPal and hope to be reimbursed for this scam.

Very low quality products. Price is too high, not recommended. No customer service in the USA. Phone number is a google voice number.

I thought I did my due diligence buying…

I thought I did my due diligence buying from a reputable company. I thought (researching their website) they are a US based company but as soon as I got the tracking number and it was coming from China, I knew I was dupped. Shipping took almost a month to get to my house. When the product showed it, the smell was overwhelming. White MDF pieces of the bookshelf along with all the styrofoam it was packaged in had a blue dye stain on it. Almost every piece of wood had chipped edges. This is not a well made product, the edges of the rounded shelf are made with a plastic looking material with numbers on them that will show when put together. All the instructions were in Mandarin, not English. If you are looking for a sturdy bookshelf that is going to hold up well, this might not be the company for you. I am having a lot of issues with them refunding the defective product. I have been emailing them back and forth for a week and they will not stand by their product. They start by offering the customer a small refund and a touch up pen, then each email they raise the refund a little bit more. Now, they are telling me they are going to lose money on this product if they offer me a full refund...that's their quality control issue, not for me as a customer to take on. I told them I would be glad to send them the product back if they pay for shipping and they want me to pay for shipping...which the address they gave me is in China and the shipping would cost more than the cost of the product. Their returns policy is that the customer pays for shipping if returning for personal reasons. This is a defective product and they don't even want to pay for a return ... much less give a full refund. Never again will I purchase from this company. I just want to make all customers aware before buying. UPDATE: they never ended up offering a full refund and paying for return shipping. I ended up reporting them to PayPal (which is how I paid for the product) and within a few days PayPal got me my full refund. I put the entire thing in the trash and was glad this saga was over. By the way....one of the last emails I got from them was saying they would possibly give me a full refund if I destroyed the product and sent them a video of myself destroying it. Who does this??

Everything was disappointing with my…

Everything was disappointing with my purchase. I ordered a shoe rack which took a very long time to arrive and communication was extremely poor. When it was finally delivered, parts of the wood were damaged. The instructions were in Chinese and the quality of the product was terrible. I will not be making any other purchases from this place. Save your time and money and purchase from a local vendor. Not worth it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE. I They’re frauds. Cheaper than dirt materials. Nothing is remotely close to what they advertise. Over priced junk. Took over a month and my table came broken in half. Corners smashed. Metal supports bent at the weld joints. Please, save the time and money and go to a local store to see a product in person.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. They seem to be in the business of shipping garbage, because that's what I got. There is nothing in common between the picture of the desk that I purchased and what I received. Like others said, all corners were dented. Scratches. The structure is so weak that the desk shakes with every move while making an annoying noise that serve as a reminder of how fool I was to buy this crap. These people should not be allowed to make business in the United States. I'm holding to the item while my credit card insurance investigates. After that, it will go straight to the dump. I will take a video to celebrate. I hope it goes viral.

It bothers me greatly that at no point in the purchasing process I was made aware that I was buying directly from China. I would not have completed the purchase, in part because I was looking for a quicker delivery time. The piece of garbage took weeks to arrive. At some point I got an email saying that the desk had cleared the quality check. Laughable.

Everything about these people is deceptive. The Chinese government should step in. I can tell you that the perception that we have about Chinese manufacturing changed.

Ordered a walnut small wooden desk

Ordered a walnut small wooden desk. When it finally came 23 days after ordering the box was damaged, all 4 corners of the desk were smashed. Had it actually been wood as said I would have fixed it. No it's partical board and the thinnest metal frame, it weighed nothing and could be rebent into shape by hand. Called them back as the shipping company dropped and ran, the return policy said they would offer me 30-60-100$ back if I just accepted it, they charged over $300 for this super cheap and unrepairable garbage. I wouldn't have been happy but acceted had it been undamaged, the packing Styrofoam was very thin and it was bound to get damaged. I've seen much worse boxes have undamaged goods get here. Not recommending this your better off going to IK-E-A at least you know what your getting and don't have to hassle to get your money back. They want me to pay the return shipping to China and then they'll decide if I get my money back. They can deal with my credit card company insurance. ###Buyer Beware####

I bought the desk because it said it’s made of wood. It is laminate coated particle board. Took over a month to arrive from china. Slightly damaged but not worth shipping back to china. Walmart has better quality. Definitely do not order from Leafhold!

Never again

I am a director for a non-profit that creates dream bedrooms for kids with cancer. I am working on a room for a 17 year old who really wants a gaming room. I have had to postpone his room reveal two weeks now because the desk--a main part of the room makeover--still isn't here. I have left a voice message for the company--no answer. I have tried to track it and it shows it hasn't gone anywhere. I am ordering a new desk from a company that will be sure it is delivered this week so this warrior can get his room done this week. I've done over 54 rooms and never dealt with this problem. I am beyond annoyed and frustrated.

Do NOT buy from this company

If you plan to buy something from this company, be prepared to wait 20 or 30 days. I bought a table/desk for my home/office and it arrived with three dents that are unacceptable. If I were to buy that table in that condition anywhere else, I would never buy it. The company is claiming that I did the beating when I was putting it together, but they offered me a $45 refund, why? because they know that is false. The table cost $309 and the warranty or service I received from them was something like... you already paid and that's yours. If I wanted to return it, I would have to pay for shipping to CHINA! That is to say, look for a box and send it to China and that sounds to me like they will never receive it. I do not recommend that you take the risk of buying anything from this company.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience. The desk I ordered came damaged on one of the corners due to poor shipping materials, received the wrong pieces to assemble the desk, and the company is located in China. When I contacted customer service they offered $20 as compensation. They said I could send it back for a full refund but I had to cover the shipping and that ended up being more than I paid for the desk. So now I'm stuck with pieces to a desk I can't assemble.
